ÎSwivel bottom cable hook upward and
remove cable.
ÎCheck mains cable and plug for dam-
age or breakage. Get them replaced
only through customer service agent or
an electrician.
ÎInsert the mains plug into the socket.
Danger
Risk of injury on account of electric shock
caused by a damaged mains cable. Do not
let the mains cable come in contact with the
rotating brushes.
Caution
Risk of damage to the floor covering. The
cleaning method for severe soiling must
only be used on floors suitable for this kind
of cleaning.
ÎMove the suction bar lift pedal to posi-
tion „suction off“ (Fig. 3 - position "1/
ON", see inside front cover).
ÎPress the park position release and
swivel the handle toward the rear.
ÎSet main switch for brush/vacuum oper-
ation to “1”.
ÎActivate the water pump switch.
ÎMove the appliance over the surface to
be cleaned.
Caution
Risk of damage to the floor covering. The

of cleaning.
ÎMove the vacuum bar lift pedal to posi-
tion „do not suction off“ (Fig. 3 - position
"0/OFF" see inside front cover) and per-
form the cleaning as you would with
normal soiling. The detergent liquid re-
mains on the surface to be cleaned and
has time to settle in.
ÎMove the vacuum bar lift pedal to posi-
tion "suction off" and reclean the sur-
face.
ÎPull the suction tube out toward the top,
attach the suction nozzle and vacuum
the dirt.
ÎRemove the nozzle, replace the suction
tube and insert handle.
ÎTurn off the water pump switch.
ÎPush the appliance a little further to
vacuum up the remaining water.
ÎSet main switch for brush/vacuum oper-
ation to “0”.
ÎSwivel the appliance handle forward
and arrest in the park position.
ÎDisconnect the main plug from the
socket.
Note
If the dirt water reservoir is full the float
closes the suction channel. The suction op-
eration is interrupted. Empty the dirt water
reservoir.

ing the wastewater treatment.
ÎTurn off the appliance.
ÎPosition the appliance upright and ar-
rest it in the park position.
ÎRemove the fresh water reservoir from
the appliance.
ÎSwivel support bow downward and re-
move the waste water reservoir.
ÎLift the lock and remove the lid of the
waste water reservoir.
ÎPour out dirt water.
ÎThe rinse the dirt water reservoir with
clear water.
ÎReplace the lid of the waste water res-
ervoir and lock it.
ÎInsert the waste water container into the
appliance.
