Rope Sensor Installation Guide

Step 1:
Using a 7/16 wrench,
unscrew the tension bolt
and pivot the bar away
from the yellow metal.
Step 2:
Mount the sensor on the
rope as shown in Fig. 3:
between the center and
outer bobbins, inside the
groves.
Step 3:
Using a 7/16 wrench, fully
hand tighten the tension
bolt until the bar sits flush
against the yellow metal.
Step 4:
Repeat steps 1-3 for all
rope sensors.

Rope Sensor Hook-Up
4 Rope Sensors
• Hook up sensors to CHANNEL A only (SENSOR 1-4) (see Fig. 5)
• SEN 2 on K-Weigh should be turned OFF (see Fig. 6)
5 or more Rope Sensors
• Distribute sensor hook ups between CHANNEL A and CHANNEL B (SENSOR 1-8) (see Fig. 5)
• SEN 2 on K-Weigh should be turned ON (see Fig. 6)
