Kambrook Recommends Safety First
IMPORTANT: Please retain your
instruction book for future use.
At Kambrook, we believe that safe performance is the first priority in any
consumer product, so that you, our valued customer, can confidently
use and trust our products. We ask that any electrical appliance that
you use be operated in a sensible fashion with due care and attention
placed on the following important operating instructions.
Important Safeguards For Your Kambrook
Coffee and Herb Mill
• Carefully read all instructions before
operating and save for future reference.
• To protect against electric shock, do not
immerse the motor base, plug or cord in
water or any other liquid.
• Remove any promotional stickers or
packaging materials before using the
appliance for the first time.
• Always use the appliance on a dry,
level surface.
• Always switch the power off at the
power outlet and then remove the plug
when the appliance is not being used
and before cleaning.
• The grinder cannot be switched on until
the lid is in position.
• Do not use on a sink drain board.
• Do not use on an inclined surface.
• Do not place the appliance near
the edge of a bench or table during
operation. Always use on a dry,
level surface.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended
when in use.
• Do not move the grinder whilst
in operation.
• Do not place this appliance on or near
a hot gas or electric burner, or where it
could touch a heated oven.
• Do not use this appliance for anything
other than its intended use. Do not
use outdoors.
• Always disconnect the appliance
from the supply if it is left unattended
and before assembling, disassembling
or cleaning.
• Do not operate this appliance for
longer than 30 seconds as this could
cause overheating. Allow to cool for at
least 2 minutes after each use. Allow
appliance to cool down for 10-15
minutes after lengthy operation.
• Care shall be taken when handling
the sharp cutting blades, emptying the
appliance and during cleaning.
• Do not allow children to use the
appliance without supervision.
• Keep the appliance clean. Follow
the cleaning instructions provided in
this book.

Important Safeguards For All
Electrical Appliances
• Fully unwind the power cord before use.
• Do not let the power cord hang over
the edge of a bench or table, touch hot
surfaces or become knotted.
• To protect against electric shock do not
immerse the power cord, power plug or
motor base in water or any other liquid.
• The appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
• It is recommended to regularly inspect
the appliance. To avoid a hazard do
not use the appliance if power cord,
power plug or appliance becomes
damaged in any way. Return the
entire appliance to the nearest
authorised Kambrook Service Centre
for examination and/or repair.
• Any maintenance other than cleaning
should be performed at an authorised
Kambrook Service Centre.
• This appliance is for household use only.
• Do not use this appliance for anything
other than its intended use. Do not use
in moving vehicles or boats. Do not use
outdoors. Misuse may cause injury.
• The installation of a residual current
device (safety switch) is recommended
to provide additional safety protection
when using electrical appliances. It
is advisable that a safety switch with
a rated residual operating current
not exceeding 30mA be installed in
the electrical circuit supplying the
appliance. See your electrician for
professional advice.

Using Your Coffee and Herb Mill
Before First Use
Before first use, remove any
packaging and promotional labels.
Wash the clear view lid in warm soapy
water and dry thoroughly.
Carefully wipe the internal
chamber with a soft damp cloth
and dry thoroughly. Be careful to
avoid touching the stainless steel
cutting blades.
Operation Of Your
Mill (Grinder)
1. Remove the clear view lid. Make
sure the lid and grinding chamber
are clean and ready to use.
2. Measure the desired quantity
of coffee beans or herbs/spices
into the cover and pour into the
grinding chamber.
3. Place the cover onto the grinder.
4. Plug the power cord into a 230V
or 240V power outlet and switch
the power point on.
5. To begin grinding, press down the
operating button on the side of
the lid.
6. When you have reached the
desired grind, release the
operating button to cease
grinding.
7. Switch off the appliance at the
power outlet and unplug.
8. Turn the grinder upside down
supporting the cover. Gently tap
the base of the unit to move all
the ground ingredients into the
cover, for easy removal.
9. Clean the grinder after each
use, according to the Care,
Cleaning and Storage instructions
on page 8.
Hints & Tips
• The coffee and herb mill will not
grind anything that is sticky or
extremely hard ie. chocolate,
whole nutmeg, candied fruits etc.
• The coffee and herb mill will not
make pastes of any fruits, seeds or
herbs ie. curry pastes, nut batters.
It is recommended to use dry
ingredients only.
CAUTION: Do not take off
the lid until the blade has
completely stopped.
CAUTION: Care shall be
taken when handling the
sharp cutting blades,
emptying the appliance
and during cleaning.

Do not immerse the motor base or
cord in water or any other liquid. Do
not fill the grinding chamber with
water or any other liquid. Do not
place the cover in the dishwasher.
1. Switch off at the power outlet
and unplug.
2. Wipe out the grinding container
with a slightly damp cloth and dry
thoroughly.
3. To thoroughly clean under the
blades, place the lid in position
and operate the empty unit for
less than 30 seconds. This should
dislodge any particles under the
blades. Switch off and unplug
before continuing to clean.
4. Wipe the exterior of the unit
with a slightly damp cloth.
Polish with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not use abrasives.
5. Store in a convenient position
on your bench top or in an
accessible cupboard. Always
unplug the appliance from the
power outlet before storing.

Old Fashioned Mustard
Makes 4 servings
1 tablespoon mustard seeds
½ tablespoon iced water
½ tablespoon white vinegar
Pinch of salt
Pinch of sugar
1. Place all ingredients into the grinding
chamber and process for 15 seconds.
Green Curry Paste
Makes 5 servings
1 small eschalot, diced
2cm lemon grass, sliced
1 clove garlic, chopped
5mm piece of ginger, chopped
1 small green chilli, sliced
1 tablespoon coriander leaves, washed
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1. Place all ingredients into the grinding
chamber and process for 15 seconds.
Kambrook Dukkah
Makes 6 servings
½ teaspoon coriander seeds
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
½ tablespoon hazelnuts
½ tablespoon almonds
½ teaspoon sea salt
1. Place all ingredients into the grinding
chamber and process for 15 seconds.
2. Serve with crusty bread dunked in
good quality olive oil.
Olive Tapenade
Makes 6 servings
1½ tablespoons kalamata olives, pitted
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 clove garlic
½ teaspoon rock salt
½ teaspoon lemon juice
4 basil leaves
1. Place all ingredients into the grinding
chamber and process for 15 seconds.
2. Serve with crusty bread dunked in
good quality olive oil.

Satay Sauce
Makes 6 servings
1½ tablespoons peanuts
1 tablespoon coconut cream
½ small red chilli, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 teaspoons kecap manis
1 teaspoon lime juice
1. Place all ingredients into the grinding
chamber and process for 15 seconds.
2. Serve over chicken skewers or on
vegetable burgers.
Basil and Cashew Dip
Makes 6 servings
1 tablespoon basil leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 teaspoons cashew nuts
½ teaspoon rock salt
1 teaspoon lemon juice
½ clove garlic
1 teaspoon parmesan cheese, grated
1. Place all ingredients into the grinding
chamber and process for 15 seconds.
2. Serve with biscuits, vegetable batons
or bread.

Kambrook warrants the purchaser for domestic
use against defects in workmanship and material
for a period of 12 months domestic use from the
date of purchase (or 3 months commercial use).
This warranty page and the purchase receipt
for the product must be presented as proof
of purchase to the retailer when making a
claim under the Kambrook Replacement
Warranty. Therefore, we recommend you
immediately attach the receipt to the rear of
this Instruction Booklet. Please note that under
any applicable statutory warranty you are not
required to produce these documents, but may
be required to provide a proof of purchase.
This Kambrook Replacement Warranty does
not apply to any defect, deterioration, loss,
injury or damage occasioned by, or as a
result of, misuse or abuse, negligent handling
or if the product has been used other than
in accordance with the instructions. The
Kambrook Replacement Warranty excludes
breakables such as glass and ceramic items,
consumable items and normal wear and tear.
This Kambrook Replacement Warranty is void
if there is evidence of the product being
tampered with by unauthorised persons.
If the product includes one or a number of
accessories, only the defective accessory
or product will be replaced. Subject to your
statutory rights, in the event of Kambrook
choosing to replace the appliance, the
Kambrook Replacement Warranty will
expire at the original date, i.e. 12 months
from the original date of purchase.
This Kambrook Replacement Warranty
is valid only in the country of purchase,
although other statutory warranties or
consumer guarantees may still apply.

Warranty does not affect your mandatory
