A 1.2 Important information
The instructions for use should be read
by the user before starting up the unit
for the first time, in order to avoid incorrect
operation and other damage. If other language
versions are required, please request these
from your responsible KaVo agent. Dupli-
cation and distribution of the instructions
for use (I ) require KaVo's prior consent.
All technical data, information and properties
of the product described in the I correspond
to the state on going to press. Modifications
and improvements to the product as a result
of new technical developments are possible.
This does not imply any right to retrofitting
of existing units.
KaVo assumes no responsibility for damage
arising through:
• external influences (poor quality of the
media or inadequate installation)
• use of incorrect information
• improper use
• improperly performed Repair and
maintenance work.
Repair and maintenance work - apart from
the activities described in these instructions
for use - may be performed only by qualified
technical personnel.
In the event of modifications by third parties,
the approvals become null and void. KaVo
recommends using only original spare parts
for operation and for repair.
A 1.3 Precautions
Safe operation and protection of the unit are
ensured only through proper use in accor-
dance with the instructions for use and
using the tools approved for the purpose.
The following should also be observed:
• the work safety regulations,
• the accident prevention regulations.
■
Each time before switching on, check the
set speed.
■ Observe the permissible maximum speed
and maximum pressure of the tools
(according to tool manufacturer's
instructions).
According to these provisions, it is the
user’s obligation:
• to use only fault-free operating materials
• to ensure that it is used for the correct
purpose

A 1.4 Requirements of the user
The described product may be used only by
service personnel with an appropriate
technical qualification, and who have
received specialised training in the use of
the product.
In accordance with these requirements, it is
the duty of the user
• to use only flawless materials
• to observe the correct applications
• to working not with demaged functional
parts.

A 3 Mounting
A 3.1 Waste bin EWL 35 with support
frame in EWL table mounting without
suspended cupboard
Screw the support bracket 1to the back of
the support frame using the holes Aand
screws 2M 5 x 20 mm
Screw in the screws 4M 5 x 20 mm by
about 4 turns in thread 5.
Screw the plate 6loosely in position with
screws 7 M 5 x 30 mm and spring 8.
Hook the support frame 3centrally in
support 9under the cut-out in the bench
top.
Firmly screw on the support frame 3so
that it comes flush at the front edge and
also the support 9using screws 7.
Secure the support bracket 1with screws
4.
Insert the waste bin with the KaVo EWL
sign facing the front in the support frame
3and push until the limit stop is reached.
For removing, the waste bin must be
lifted as soon as the limit stop is
reached.

Screw the support bracket 1to the back ot
the support frame using the holes Band
screws 2M 5 x 20 mm.
Screw in the screws 4M 5 x 20 mm by
about 4 turns in thread 5.
Hook the support frame 3in the support
9at the back so that it is central to the
suspended cupboard and firmly screw it to
the suspended cupboard 0with screws 7
M 5 x 30 mm.
Secure the support bracket 1with screws

Insert the waste bin with the KaVo EWL
sign facing the front in the support frame
3and push until the limit stop is reached.
For removing, the waste bin must be
lifted as soon as the limit stop is
reached.

Loosely screw the support frame 3to the
front cross member qwith screws 7
M 5 x 30 mm.
Firmly screw the support frame 3to the
rear cross member ewith wood screws
w(diameter of 6 x 13,5 mm)
Holes are pre-drilled with a diameter
of 5 x 16 mm in the EWL floor-
mounted cupboard.
Firmly screw on the support frame 3at
the front with screws 7.
Insert the waste bin with the KaVo EWL
sign facing the front in the support frame
3and push until the limit stop is reached.
For removing, the waste bin must be
lifted as soon as limit stop is reached.

Measure out and mark 8 fastening points

Fastening points A/B are predrilled in the
EWL suspended cupboard (diameter
5 x 14 mm).
Screw wood screws t (diameter
6,3 x 16 mm) in holes Aby about 4 turns.
Hook in the pull-out support r.
Screw wood screws tin holes Band then
tighten also the wood screws in holes A.
Adjust the drawer unit

so that it
can be drawn out towards the front.
Draw out the pull-out support rand insert
the waste bin with the KaVo EWL sign
facing the front.
Push the waste bin back into the suspended
cupboard until the limit stop is reached.

Guarantee conditions
Within the scope of the current Delivery and Payment Conditions, KaVo EWL warrants the unit to be free from malfunctions, defects from
both materials and workmanship for a period of six months from the date of purchase.
At the end of this warranty period, KaVo provides a further 6-months guarantee for faults arising which can be traced back to deficiencies
in materials or the manufacturing process. For established complaints, the guarantee covers only the supply or repair of replacement parts,
free of charge. KaVo EWL is not liable for defects and their consequences caused by, or which could be caused by, normal wear; mis-use;
improper cleaning or maintenance; failure to follow the operating, maintenance or insrtallation regulations; corrosion; air pollution;
chemical or electrical influences which are unusual, or not in accordance with factory regulations.
The guarantee does not apply if defects, or consequential damage, are the result of unauthorised modifications and alterations to the
product. Entitlement to the guarantee can only be validated if claims are submitted to KaVo EWL without delay, in writing. Return of the
product must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice or delivery note, on which the serial number is clearly indicated..
