Getting Started:
Wh n you ar don swooning ov r th
aw som n ss you s b for you, r mov th four
Phillips h ad (Crossh ad) bolts. Th circuit board
is r mov d by turning ov r th cas , if it do s not
com out right away, giv th cas a light tap on a
hard surfac . If th circuit board do s not want to
com out, CAREFULLY ins rt a small rod-lik
obj ct into on of th two hol s on th circuit
board (a corkscr w works r ally w ll) and g ntly
pull it out. Ins rt th CR2450 coin c ll batt ry
(provid d, also availabl at most local
pharmaci s) into th batt ry hold r. Th display
on th front will imm diat ly count from “0-9”
and “A-F” and th n turn off. Car fully plac th
circuit board right sid up back into th cas . R -
ass mbl and njoy.
Tip for r placing th batt ry: If th display is not
on wh n you r mov th batt ry, and you do not
pr ss th button to do so, th watch will k p th
tim for about 7 s conds whil th batt ry is not
pr s nt, mov quickly.
Setting the Time:
This is most asily don with th top
Acrylic cov r r mov d. Pr ss and hold th push
button n ar th bottom of th circuit board until
th right two digits of th display start to flash.
Th watch will b s t to 24hr mod , in th
D cimal numb r bas (to mak things asi r).
Pr ssing th button will incr m nt th minut s by
1. Wh n you ar happy with th tim , pr ss and
hold th push button again, th l ft two digits will
b gin to flash. Pr ss th push button to incr m nt
th hours by 1, r m mb r, this is in 24hr mod (0-
23). Wh n satisfi d, pr ss and hold th push
button again, only th right two digits will b on
and th y will b blinking.
This option is to chang th display to 12hr or
24hr mod , pr ssing th button will switch
b tw n th two. Wh n r ady, pr ss and hold th
push button on last tim until th display turns
off. Th tim is now s t.
Displaying the Time:
To nabl th display, simply giv th fac
of th watch a firm tap with your hand, wall,
tabl , or any oth r obj ct you d sir (just don't
hurt yours lf or oth rs, KBE will not b h ld
r sponsibl for your irr sponsibility). Th watch
can also b activat d with a firm push on th fac .
Th display will turn on for about fiv s conds
b for turning off again. If th button is pr ss d
again whil th display is still activ , it will
switch th curr nt numb r bas . Th bas s rotat
in ord r: Binary, Octal, D cimal, H xad cimal,
and back around. Onc th display turns off, th
watch will r main in th sam numb r bas until
it is chang d via th m thod abov .

Decimal:
This is th standard numb ring syst m w
us in v ryday lif , 0-9. Th numb rs on th
display will look lik th following:
Octal:
This numb r bas is v ry clos to
D cimal, how v r, inst ad of counting from 0-9
and th n adding on to th t ns plac , it counts
from 0-7 and th n adds on to th t ns plac . As
an xampl , b low is a quick arithm tic way to
conv rt 17 d cimal into octal:
17 – 8 = 9 on s r main + 1 t ns
9 – 8 = 1 on s r main + 2 t ns
17 d cimal is qual to 21 octal.
Th r may b asi r ways to conv rt this, ach
p rson is diff r nt. Octal us s th sam numb r
displays as D cimal, without th numb rs 8 and 9.
Hexadecimal:
This numb r bas us s th numb r 0-9 and
A-F to count ultimat ly from 0 to 15 (using on
digit as oppos d to two) th n adding 1 to th t ns
plac . Th digit displays abov , in addition to th
on s b low, ar us d to conv y th tim :
As an xampl , b low is a quick arithm tic way
to conv rt 45 D cimal to H xad cimal:
45 – 16 = 29 on s r main + 1 t ns
29 – 16 = 13 on s r main + 2 t ns
13 D cimal in H xad cimal is D + 2 t ns.
45 D cimal is qual to 2D H xad cimal.
Binary:
This is most lik ly th hard st bas to g t
th hang of. Each digit of th display has 4
v rtical s gm nts (and thr horizontal that ar
not us d in binary), th top row of th m spanning
all four digits is th hours whil th bottom row
spanning all four digits is th minut s. Th b st
way to d scrib binary is that it incr m nts from
right to l ft starting at on and doubling v ry
tim . Th far right plac is worth 1, on l ft of
that is worth 2, on l ft of that is worth 4, and so
on. If a s gm nt is lit, that plac s worth is add d
to th total for that lin . L t's do a f w xampl s:

Th MultiWatch is wat r r sistant, but it is

th batt ry, and dry with a tow l. Aft r l tting it
dry out for a f w hours, ins rt th batt ry and s
