●Please keep this manual properly for reference
INDICATOR USING NOTES
▲ The load cell and indicator should be reliably connected. The shield cable of load cell should
be reliably grounded.
▲ All of the wire connections are not allowed to plug in or out when the indicator is in the electrify
status to avoid the static electricity damaging the indicator or load cells.
▲Load cell and indicator are static sensitive devices，so static-proof measures should be taken
▲ In the season of thunder, credible thunder-proof measures should be taken, in order to avoid
devices’ damage and operators’ physical safety.
▲ Do not use in the areas of flammable or explosive gases, and pressure vessel.
▲ The indicator and load cells should be far away from strong electric field, magnetic field,

seriously corrosive materials, and flammable & explosive materials.
▲ Do not use strong solvent (such as：benzene、nitryl oils) to clean the shell
▲ Do not fill in any liquids or electric granule into the system, so as to avoid device damage or
electric shock to the operators.
▲ It is not allowed to unlock the lead seal without any authorization of technical department.
Calibration can not be done before opening lead seal.
☆Accumulator is consumption goods，so it is beyond "Three Guarantees for Product
Quality"(repair; replacement and refund)
☆Fully charge the indicator before use, in order to extend service life.
☆If it is not used for a long time, charge for 20 hours every 2 months.
☆Care should be taken during movement and assembly. Avoid strong vibration or impact to
avoid short circuit in the accumulator and further damage.
◆The indicator should be placed flatly and not be in the straight sunshine for clear indication
and long-term service life.
◆The indicator should not be placed in a vibrating area full of dust, and not in a sloppy
environment.
◆Before connecting or disconnecting indicator and peripheral equipment, powder supply of the
indicator and other devices should be firstly switched off.
◆Regulations about external connection in the manual should be strictly observed. It is not
allowed change the connection at random.
◆It is not allowed to open the indicator, or we do not guarantee to repair. Nonprofessional
factory should no repair to avoid any possible more serious damage.
◆If not man-made problem happens within one year after the date of sale under regular
service condition. Please send the troubled indicator and guarantee card (the serial number
should be coincident) to the special repair shop or the supplier.
◆If exceed the guarantee period or man-made or other accident problem, the supplier will
charge to repair

Short circuit connects pin ⑥with pin ⑦, pin ①with pin ②when connected to load cell
with 4 wires!!!!!!
▲ Load cell connect with indicator must be reliable; shield wire of load cell must be connected to ground
reliably.
▲ Load cell and indicator is static sensitive device, taking measures to prevent from static power when using.

▲ During the thunder storm season, proper lightning protection should be taken to ensure the operator and the
weighing device safety.

Printing Notice:
Printing Function can only be used after correct set-up；Connection between the indicator and printer must be
correct. Special printer cable is required;
Due to various printer, and different characteristics, they may not be the same in the performance. Please
select recommended printer.
Printer must connect to ground reliably, otherwise it may interfere indicator working or damage indicator and
printer.

Communicate port output cable and indicator must be connected correctly, if incorrect connection, it will
damage indicator output port or computer communication input port.
Connection to computer communication need necessary computer technology and program designing skills.
Professional technical personnel is required to attend or guide in it. With RS232 serial communication port, it
can communicate with computer.
Indicator communication parameter set-up as below：

3）OPERATION
3.1 TURN ON AND AUTO SET ZERO
1、After power connection and turning on, the indicator will perform self-check then go into
weighing state.
2、If the system was found departure from the calibrate zero however still within the range of turn
on auto zero range, it will set zero automatically
3.2 AUTO SET ZERO (Semi-auto set zero)
1、Press the key of[Zero] to make the indictor show zero, when the zero signal will be on.
2、If the displayed value departure from zero, however still within the range of set zero, the [ZERO] key can
work, or else the [ZERO] will not function
3、Only when the stable signal light is on, it can be done to set zero.
3.3 TARE
1、This indicator supply 3 types of TARE operation：
Normal Tare：Under weighing state, when weight display is minus value and weighing is stable, you can
press [TARE] key to set the tarred weight to be current gross weight. At this time, the
indicator “NET” displays to be “0”, and the “NET” symbol light will be on; Only “NET”
Symbol light is on can you operate “Tare”
Preset Tare：Under weighing display state, press the key of PRESET TARE, the indicator will display [P
***.**], the displayed value now is present tare value.
If you want to sent a new tare value, press number key to input the value, then press [input]
key to confirm.
Transfer tare value according to vehicle no.：Under weighing display state, press [VEHICLE NO.] key
indicator display [o ***.**], press number key to input the value, then press [TARE], then the
indicator will transfer the storied tare value to use.
2、Under weighing display state, seriate TARE operation is available. When the tare value is “0” the symbol
light will turn off
3、When the indicator meet the terms of setting zero, press [set zero] key to set the indicator to zero, and net
value symbol lights will be off.
3.4 Time and Date set
1. Under weighing display state, press DATE key, the date symbol light will turn on, indicator display present
date. If the operation is correct, press [INPUT] key, or [WEIGH] key to exit; if operation is not correct, please
use number key to input correct date, then press [ENTER] key,.
2. Under weighing display state, press TIME key, the date symbol light will turn on, indicator displays present
date and runs time. If the time is correct, then directly press[ENTER] key or [WEIGH] key to exit; if time is not
correct, please use number key to input correct time, then press [ENTER] key,.
3.5 Battery
1. For the external battery’s cable supplied by manufacturer, the red wire is connected to battery’s positive end,
and the black wire is connected to battery’s negative end. Wrong connection will damage the indicator and
battery. Please follow strictly!
2. When only using battery to supply power, battery column in the right display window will display present
electric quantity left. If all the 3 symbol lights are on, it means the battery is sufficient; If two are on, it means
the battery is relatively enough; If only one symbol light is on, it means the battery is low When electric quantity
is short, the user should prepare to charge. The battery will give an alarm when only about 5.5V is left. If the
use continues to operate, the battery will be less and less, and it will automatically give alarm to the user to
replace a new battery or use AC power supply.
3. For the first time to use battery, the battery should be charged completely. If it is not be used for a long time,
it should be charged for 20 hours every two months. Care should be taken to move or fit. Avoid serious
vibration or furious impact, and prevent to have the battery damaged due to short circuit inside the battery.

3.6 Inner Code Display
Under weighing display state, press [SET PRINT] key, then input [2][8], the indicator will start code display
state, and the light of code display bright press [WEIGH] can exit from code display state., and the code
display light turn off. Under code display state, only [set zero]、[set print] is available to use.
3.7 Weighing Records Saving
1. In the indicator, cargo No. is 5-digit, goods No. is 2-digit. 200 Vehicle No. and 100 Cargo No. can be saved
maximum.
2. Once a group of complete records are saved, the records will be printed simultaneously (if print function is
set to be effective).
3. Three ways to save：
1）First save the weight of empty cargo, then weight of full cargo; or, first save the weight of full cargo, then
empty cargo. That’s to say, only after two times of saving, will a group of complete records be created.
2）If tare is known, a group of complete records can be created only by saving the weight of full cargo.
3）If goods are to be weighed instead of cargo with goods, a group of complete records can be created only
by one time of saving.
In order to automatically identify and differentiate the 3 conditions above, it is regulated as
below:：
▲Cargo number should be one between 00001～99999, ie, 00000 can not be used
as a real cargo No. If you set the cargo No. as 0000, the indicator will regard the cargo
as goods.
▲If the tare light is on, it means the tare is known. So only one saving is needed to
create a group of complete records.
▲If the cargo No. is set to be a random 5-digit number except 00000, and the tare
light is off (ie, when it displays gross weight), it will requires two times of saving to
create the a group of complete weight records.

Complete and back to weighing status
Data saving can be set in terms of Use Vehicle No. or Not Use Vehicle No. If without Vehicle No. mode is
selected, all actions or printing related to vehicle No will not exist. Likewise, the data saving can be set in
terms of Use Cargo No. or Not Use Cargo No..
Saving cannot be done when data is not steady, or the tare≤0, or net wt≤0.
2、Automatic saving and print：No twice saving mode when automatic saving and print；The Vehicle
No. and Cargo No. have been set before saving. The automatic saved tare value has the following
three conditions：①When tare light is on, the present tare will be saved to this record；②When tare
light is off, it will automatically look for the tare record against vehicle No. in the memory, and save
the tare into indicator.；③When tare light is off, and no record in the memory for the tare, 0 is to be
saved into the record as tare.
3、If thereare over 200 vehicle No., the indicator will display [Err 10].You can delete certain vehicle No.
or save all of them according to Section 10 in the Chapterhereof. If the saved records are over500
groups, the indicator will automatically delete the first group data.

★1：Choose auto or manual printing (0-Manual 1- Auto)
★2：Choose printer type。The tens digit is default 0，please do not change. You can choose the printer type
by changing the single digit value：0—no printer connection；1--TPup16 micro printer（English）；
2--TM800；3--KX-P1121；4--EPSON LQ-1600K、LQ300K＋Ⅱ、KX-P1131、LQ-680K、DS-300 and
LQ-730K/630K/635K etc.
★3：Print Limit Choose。00 –Only print after back to 0；25 –print after back to 25％of weigh；50 -- print
after back to 50％；75 -- print after back to 75％；99 –print even in the full capacity。
★4：Choose print format Arr = 0—record format；1—1 sheet format；2—2 sheet format;3-3 sheet format
★5：Set the minimum print weight for auto print. L must be less than 10 division value at the moment.
★6：Fill in print format choose。0：no fill in print format；1：with fill in print format.
★7：Deduct percentage choose in fill in print format。0：no deduct percentage；1：with deduct percentage.
★8：Special parameter setting，[y ****]→[y WXYZ]。W:0—Battery power saving mode off；1—Battery power
saving mode on.X：0—Weight unit Kg；1—Weight unit Ton。Y：0—Date record do not with cargo no.；1--Data
record with cargo no. Z：0—Data record do not with vehicle no.；1—Data record with vehicle no. For battery
power supply, it will enter power saving mode 10 seconds after zero is stable. At this moment, the
indicator will only show zero and stable. The weight value change or any key of the indicator is
pressed, the power saving mode will be exited and back to the weighing status.
1、Detailed printing format please refer to the appendix. Fill-in print can be quickly made with special
carbon-free replication paper, in 2~4 copies(according to the paper standard). It can also be quickly
made with special common replication paper, one copy only. Please contact the dealer or our company
for special format of fill-in print.
2、Saving and print are simultaneous. Once save a group of records by pressing [print], the records will
be printed at the same time (when print function is set effective)
3、If print fails due to some reason（such as printer trouble, etc）, press [re-print] after trouble-shooting.
A complementary copy will be printed
4、After a period of weighing is over, the accumulative record can be printed by pressing [Accumulative
print].
3.9 Print report
1. Press[Set print]，then press[1]，[Enter], intraday reports in category can be printed (including reports in
terms of printing time, cargo No., goods No.). If you want to print previous reports, directly input print date,
then press [Enter].
2. Press[Set print]，then press[2]，[Enter], you can print general report 1(in terms of time）
3. Press[Set print]，then press[3]，[Enter]], you can print general report 2（(in terms of Vehicle No.）
4. Press[Set print]，then press[4]，[Enter] , you can print general report 3（in terms of Cargo No.）
5. Press[Set print]，then press[5]，[Enter] , you can print general report 4（in terms of all vehicle No. and tare.
3.10 Delete Records
1、Following ways can be used to delete records：
①Clearall records.（Including allvehicleNo.and tare）
②Clearallvehicle Noandtarerecords,butreserveweighing records
③Clear all weighing Records, but reserve vehicle No and tare records
④Clear certain vehicle No. and its related tare memory and all weighing records
2、Methods：
(1) Under weighing status，press[Clear] and enter to clear function interface. Indicator display[Sure 0].
Press[1]Press[Enter], Carry out way ①.Press[2]Press[Enter], Carry out way②.Press[3]Press[Enter],
Carry out way③. Press[0]Press[Enter] or[Weigh]，exit the interface and back to weighing status.
(2) Under weighing status，Press[Vehicle No.]，and numeral key to enter vehicle no. and then press [Zero]
and under [Sure 0] interface. Press numeral key except 0 and delete the vehicle no. and its related tare
memory as well as weighing records. [Way④]
▲Records can not resume after deletion. Care should be taken to avoid missing data.
▲All weight records should be cleared away after calibration or print parameter is
changed

3.11 Ways to input memory tares
The indicator can long time keep 200pcs tare value. Three ways to input tare data:

Appendix 1.：Serial communication data mode
All data are the ASCII code. Each frame data is formed by 10 digits. The first digit is starting digit,
the 10th digit is the stopping digit and the 8 digits in the middle are the data digits. The
communication format is as follows:
I. Continuous Sending Mode:
The sending date is the current weight of indicator (Gross weight or Net weight). Each frame is
formed by 12 groups of date. The format is as follows:

Note：The confirmation for XOR checksum high or low four digit: If XOR checksum high or low
four digit less than or equal to 9, then add 30h and send as ASCII code. For example: if XOR
