02. Electric operation
2.1 Principle
2.2 If mode: DEAD MAN'S operation
The horizontally sliding unit is driven by an electric motor that is linked to your sliding mechanism via a toothed belt
entirely via the flight bar.
The whole movement is controlled via a “dead man's control”, that is, the user must press down the control button
until the sliding has completed its full cycle. The movement will stop as soon as the control button is released. The
user is therefore responsible for keeping an eye on the sliding operation, making sure that no one is in the danger
zone, and immediately release the button in case of abnormal situations.
To open
Give an open command via the control button and hold it down until the sliding part is fully open.
The system stops itself when fully open.
To close
Give a close command via the control button and hold it down until the sliding part is completely closed.
The system stops itself when fully closed.
IF THE CONTROL BUTTON IS RELEASED, THE SLIDING WILL STOP IMMEDIATELY WITH MOVING.
ALWAYS REMEMBER THERE IS A SMALL DELAY DEPENDING OF THE WEIGHT AND HOW LARGE
THE LEAF IS.
ALWAYS TAKE CARE, BEFORE AND WHEN OPERATING THE SLIDING UNIT, THAT THE ENTIRE
SLIDING ZONE IS FREE OF OBSTACLES AND/OR PERSONS AND THIS DURING THE ENTIRE RUN
PERIOD.

2.3 If mode: SEMI AUTOMATIC operation
This means that when the user presses the control button, the automation will open/close the sliding unit almost
completely automatically, up to approximately 25 cm from the end (or the danger zone for pinching). To open/close
the sliding assembly completely (the last 25cm), keep the command button pressed until the sliding assembly is
fully open/closed. The user is responsible for keeping an eye on the moving assembly, making sure that no one is in
the danger zone, and in the event of abnormal situations he can immediately release the control button to stop the
action.
TO OPEN
Give an open command via the control button, the sliding part will open automatically and stop about 25 cm
before the end. From here you have to give again an open command via the control button, at this time keep the
button pressed until the sliding part is fully open. The system stops itself when fully open.
TO CLOSE
Give a close command via the control button, the sliding part will close automatically and stop about 25
cm before the end. From here you have to give again an close command via the control button, at this time keep
the button pressed until the sliding part is completely closed. The system stops itself when completely closed.
IF YOU STOP PRESSING THE CONTROL BUTTON DURING THE LAST 25CM, THE SLIDING WILL
STOP IMMEDIATELY WITH MOVING. ALWAYS REMEMBER THERE IS A SMALL DELAY DEPENDING OF
THE WEIGHT AND HOW LARGE THE LEAF IS.
ALWAYS TAKE CARE, BEFORE AND WHEN OPERATING THE SLIDING UNIT, THAT THE ENTIRE
SLIDING ZONE IS FREE OF OBSTACLES AND/OR PERSONS AND THIS DURING THE ENTIRE RUN
PERIOD.

operating button, the automation will fully open or close the sliding assembly automatically. The user remains
responsible for the sliding whole in it keep an eye out, make sure that no one is in the danger zone.

SLIDING ZONE IS FREE OF OBSTACLES AND/OR PERSONS AND THIS DURING THE ENTIRE RUN
PERIOD.
In the event of a power failure or a defect in the drive, and the window is closed, and you want to open it, you can
disengage the lock mechanism.
This allows you to manually open your sliding system by hand. First check whether your sliding assembly itself has
no defects !!
IF YOU MOVE THE SLIDING SYSTEM BY HAND, MAKE SURE THE MOVEMENT IS CONTROLLED. IF
NOT, THERE MAY BE DAMAGE TO THE SLIDING SYSTEM AND/OR TO THE WINDOW.
Disengage the automatic lock
Use the supplied hex socket wrench M5, locate the hex socket
bolt at the top of the motor u-housing in the running area
between the brushes.
Insert the key in it and turn it clockwise, until you feel resistance.
The lock is disengaged.
You can open the window manually.
If you close the window the lock still will be open.
If you want that the sliding system locks automatically again,
you must turn the same bolt counter wise until you feel again
resistance.
