USING YOUR MULTI-CHARGER continued
If your microscope is unplugged before the charge is complete, the LED channel will stay blinking red for 30
seconds. This indicates that the cordless microscope should be plugged back in to complete charging and will
resume at the same level as before unplugged. However, if unplugged longer than 30 seconds and prior to com-
pleting the charge to the cordless microscope, the multi-charger will reset the channel time and turns off the
charge current for that channel. The entire charge cycle will restart, and the charge level will indicate zero.

CONNECTING YOUR MULTI-CHARGER
1. Connect the power supply to the Multi-Charger and the other end into a 110v electrical
outlet (see drawing below). There is no on/off button to worry about. Once the power supply
is plugged in the LED will light up (red) and turn to green. The 16 LED meter will scan from
left to right and then from right to left, then stops. The channel LED remains green indicating
the charger is ready to go.
2. Next connect the pre-attached cables from the Multi-Charger to the power outlet located on
the back of your Ken-A-Vision Cordless microscopes.
Each channel of the charger is independent and the charge time is started when your cordless
microscope has been connected to the Multi-Charger. NOTE: It is not necessary to have a microscope
connected to each channel for operation.

USING YOUR MULTI-CHARGER
When the charger cable is plugged into a cordless microscope, the LED channel indicator will
turn to red and the LED meter will start to scan indicating that the charger is charging the
cordless microscope.
After charging for a couple of hours, press the channel button and the LED meter will indicate
how much charge the cordless microscope has received from 0 – 100%. When a charge is
complete for a channel, it will change the channel LED color from red to green and blink on
and off. NOTE: Charging time is 8 hours – for optimum use, we recommend fully charging your cordless
microscope)
Disconnect the pre-attached cable of the multi-charger from your cordless microscope and
you’re ready to go. Ken-A-Vision Cordless microscopes last up to 40 hours of operation with-
out any electrical connections. NOTE: Do not leave your cordless microscopes connected to the Multi-
Charger for more than 1 week.

SOME HELPFUL HINTS
1. The Multi-Charger is designed with a high precision microprocessor. Do not use other

seriously damage your Multi-Charger.

accomplished with a clean, damp cloth.
3. Operating Conditions: 0º — 40º C temperature * 30% — 80% humidity.
