to use your food processor
1Fit the bowl onto the processor base - handle
towards the back - lower and turn clockwise until
it locks fir ly into place .
2Add an attach ent over the food processor drive.

4 Plug in and switch on.
GThe processor won’t work if the bowl and

GUse the pulse (P) for short bursts. The pulse will
operate for as long as the control is held in
position.
5 Reverse the above procedure to re ove the lid,
attach ents and bowl.
GAlways switch off and unplug before
removing the lid.
important
GYour processor is not suitable for crushing or
grinding coffee beans, or converting granulated
sugar to caster sugar.
GWhen adding al ond essence or flavouring to
ixtures avoid contact with the plastic as this ay
result in per anent arking.
using the attach ents
knife blade
This blade is the ost versatile of all the
attach ents. The texture you get is deter ined by
the length of processing ti e. For coarser textures
use the ‘pulse’ feature checking the consistency
regularly.
hints
GCut food such as eat, bread, vegetables into
cubes approxi ately 2c /3/4in before
processing.
GBiscuits and bread should be broken into pieces
and added down the feed tube whilst the
appliance is running.
GWhen aking pastry use fat straight fro the
fridge cut into 2c /3/4in.cubes. Take care not to
over-process.
GCake Making - Sponge type cakes are best ade
by the ‘all in one ethod’. A ‘soft tub’ argarine
used straight fro the refrigerator and cut into
2c /3⁄4in cubes should always be used. Process
until s ooth.
GMayonnaise - Place the egg and seasonings into
the bowl and ix for a few seconds. With the
achine running gradually add the oil down the
feed tube in a slow steady strea .
GYeast dough - Place the flour, fat and other dry
ingredients into the bowl and process for a few
seconds to ix. With the achine running add
the liquid ixture down the feed tube and
continue processing until the ixture for s a
dough and beco es s ooth in appearance and
elastic to touch - this will take 45-60 seconds.
Allow the dough to rise then re-knead for 10
seconds.
whisk
Use for egg whites and crea only. The whisk is
unsuitable for other recipes. Make sure the bowl

using the cutting plates
shredding plate
