01. Fold up the seat and remove the pillion seat. Dismount OEM slipon, loosen manifold to ensure
mounting without tension.
02. Place the delivered spacer on the mounting screw between the frame and the accumulator.
Place the M8 nut back on the screw. Tighten after the exhaust is mounted straight.
Modelspecicfeatures:
Spacer for Street Rod, Night Rod Special 2007 up, and V-Rod Anniversary 2012. Place the
7mm spacer on the OEM mounting screw between the frame and auxiliary volume, place the
M8 nut back on the screw. Tighten after the exhaust is mounted straight.

05. Wiring diagram for KessTech electronics with the cable colors of the Harley-Davidson models.
Yellow cable – RPM signal, green cable – speed signal
04. Solder the KessTech electronics into the existing electronics. Use cable colors and pin
according to the wiring diagram KessTech electronics.
03. Mount handlebar switch with the help of the supplied screw.
06. Connect all plugs. Align the KessTech electronics.

11. SafetyNote:
After about 200 kms retighten all exhaust screws and after every service intervals as well as
every 4,000 kms. If not correctly performed, the KessTech warranty will be void. If there is any
subsequent change of the exhaust, the vehicle type-approval will be invalid.
07. Mount the heat shields.

08. Ensurethattheheaders,holders,servomotors,driveshaftsandu-jointsaswellasmufersdo
not interfear with motorcycle parts.
09. Clean the exhaust and perform a function check.
10. Perform a test ride.
