Beforeassemblingor usingtheexercisecycle,pleasereadthefollowinginstructionscarefully.Theycontain

. Exerciseshouldbeusedonlyforitsintendedpurpose,i.e.for
physicalexercisebyadultpersons. .
.Any other useof the equipment is prohibited and may be dan-
gerous. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage
or injury caused by improper use of the equipment.
. Exercise hasbeen designed in accordance with the lateststan-
dards of safety.Any featureswhich may have beena possible
cause of injury have been avoided or made as safe as pos-
sible.
. Incorrect repairs and structural modifications (e.g. removal or
replacement of original parts) may endanger the safety of the
user.
.Damaged componentsmay endangeryour safetyor reducethe
lifetime of the equipment. Forthis reason, worn or damaged
parts should be replaced immediately and the equipment
taken out of use until this has been done. Use only original
KETTLERspare parts.
. If theequipment is in regular use,check all itscomponentsthor-
oughly every 1 -2 months. Pay particular attention to the
tightnessof boltsand nuts.Thisapplies especiallyto thesecuring
bolts for saddle and handelbars.
. To ensure that the safety level is kept to the highest possible
standard, determined by itsconstruction, this product should
be serviced regulary (once a year) by specialist retailers.
. Instructpersonsusing the equipment (in particular children) on
possible sourcesof danger during exercising.
Handling the equipment
.Beforeusingtheequipmentforexercise,checkcarefullyto ensure
that it has been correctly assembled.
. Beforebeginning your firsttraining session,familiarize yourself
thoroughly with all the functions and settingsof the unit.
.Itis not recommended to useor storethe apparatus in a damp
room as this may cause it to rust. The friction surface of the
flywheel isespecially sensitiveto the formation of rust. Should
thisoccur(e.g.aftera prolonged period of disuse)therustshould
be removed using sandpaper or steelwool. Do not usegrease
or oil! Pleaseensurethatno part of themachinecomesin contact
with liquids(drinks,perspirationetc.).Thismay causecorrosion.
. Themachine is designed for useby adults and children should
notbe allowed to play with it. Children at play behave unpre-
dictablyand dangeroussituationsmayoccurforwhich themanu-
facturer cannot be held liable. If, in spite of this, children are
allowed to usethe equipment, ensurethat they are instructed
in its proper useand supervised accordingly.
. Theexercisecycle complies with the DIN EN 957 - 1/- 5 class
He. It istherefore unsuitable for therapeutic use.
. Afteryour training by all meansturntheturning handlefor brake
adjustment back to zero position in order to avoid heat influ-
enceson brake linings and disk flywheel.Payattention to the
fact that thequickly rotating disk flywheel stronglyheatsduring
operation.
. Beforebeginning your program of exercise,consultyour doctor
to ensure that you are fit enough to use the equipment. Base
yaurprogramofexerdseontheadvicegivenbyyourdoctor.lncorredor
excessiveexerdsemaydamageyourhealth!
. Anyinterferencewithpartsoftheproductthatarenotdescnuedwithin
themanualmaycausedamage,orendangerthepersonusingthismachine.

safety distance from any obstacles. The apparatus mustnot
be mounted in the immediate vicinity of main passageways
(paths, doorways, corridors).

andsaddle position to your body height.

. A slight production of noise at the bearing of the centrifugal
massisdue to theconstructionand hasno negativeeffectupon
operation. Possiblyoccurring noise during reverse pedalling
resultfrom engineering and are absolutely safe.
.Use for your regular cleaning, maintenance and care our

licensed for KETTLERSportsapparatus and available from the
Sport specialized trade.
. Afteryourtrainingbyallmeansturn the turning handle for brake
