original retail purchaser as follows:
LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY
This product is warranted against defective
materials or workmanship for one year from the
date of original purchase. Proof of purchase is
required. The exclusive remedy for this warranty
is that KIDSEmbrace™ will at its option, provide
repair or replacement components for this product
or refund the original purchase price of the
product. KIDSEmbrace™ reserves the right to
discontinue or change fabrics, parts, or products,
or to make substitutions. To make a claim under
this warranty, contact KIDSEmbrace™ consumer
Services at 1-866-947-3287. Proof of purchase is
required. PLEASE COMPLETE AND MAIL THE
OWNER REGISTRATION CARD WITHIN (30)
DAYS OF PURCHASE.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
This warranty does not include damages which
arise from negligence, misuse or use not in
accordance with the product instruction. The use
of non-KIDSEmbrace™ covers, inserts, toys,
accessories, or tightening devices is not approved
by KIDSEmbrace™. Their use could take this
restraint out of compliance with Federal Safety
Regulations or negatively affect the performance
in a crash. Their use automatically voids the
KIDSEmbrace™ warranty.
LIMITATION OF DAMAGES
The warranty and remedies as set forth above
are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral, or
written, express or implied. In no event will
KIDSEmbrace™, or the retailer selling this product
be liable for any damages, including incidental or
consequential damages, arising out of the use or
inability to use this product.

OTHER WARRANTY TERMS AND
PROVINCE LAWS
Any implied warranties, including implied
warranties of merchantability and tness for a
particular purpose, shall be limited to the duration
and terms of the express written warranty. Some
provinces do not allow limitations on how long an
implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation
of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitations may not apply. This warranty
gives you specic legal rights, and you may have
other rights, which vary from province to province.
Neither KIDSEmbrace™ nor the retailer selling this
product authorizes any person to create for it any
other warranty, obligation, or liability in connection
with this product.

• Failure to follow these instructions and
booster seat labels can result in injury or
death to a child from striking the vehicles
interior during a sudden stop or crash
• Proper use of this booster seat reduces the
risk of serious injury or death to your child.
No booster can guarantee protection from
injury.
• DO NOT install or use this booster seat until
you read and understand the instructions
in this manual and in your vehicle owner’s
manual.
Booster Seat Use
• Use only the vehicle’s lap and shoulder belt
system when restraining the child in this
booster seat.
• Vehicle belts MUST lay at against child and
MUST NOT be twisted.
• Never use Booster Seat with only a lap belt.
Using a Booster Seat with only a lap belt
could result in serious injury or death to a
child.
• Use this booster seat only on vehicle seats
that face forward.
Backless Booster
• Use only with children who are over 4 years
old and who weigh between 40 and 100 lbs
(18 and 45 kg) and whose height is between
40 and 57 inches (101 and 145 cm).
• Ears are below the top of vehicle seat
headrest.

DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur
• KIDSEmbrace™ does not recommend the
use of any car seat accessories except
those manufactured by KIDSEmbrace™.
Use of accessories or parts from other
manufacturers could alter the performance
of the booster seat.
• Do not use a booster seat with damaged or
missing parts.
• Do not substitute parts or try to modify the
booster seat in any way.
• Never leave your child unattended.
• This booster seat should be securely belted
in the vehicle even when not in use. In a
crash or sudden stop, an unsecured child
restraint could injure other occupants.
• DO NOT use this booster seat if it has been
in a crash, it must be replaced. A crash can
cause unseen damage, and continued use
could result in serious injury or death.
• Avoid burns; booster seat surfaces can
become hot inside a vehicle. Always check
surfaces of booster seat before placing child
in seat.
• Register your booster seat with the
manufacturer.
• Booster seats are designed to raise the child
up to properly position the vehicle lap and
shoulder belt.
• How to determine if your child is ready to
transition to a booster seat? Please consider
the following conditions:
- The child is approaching the limit
of their current car seat and meet
the age, height, and weight of this
booster seat.
- The child is mature to ride correctly
and does not put the shoulder belt
under their arm or behind their back.
- If Child will not keep vehicle shoulder
belt properly positioned, DO NOT use
this Booster Seat.

• Only use Booster Seat in seating location
with lap and shoulder belt.
• Never use Booster Seat in seating location
with only a lap belt.
• Never put a Booster
Seat in a front vehicle
seating location unless
recommended by
vehicle owners manual.
• Snugly adjust the

should belt around
child according to the
instructions in the vehicle owner’s manual.
- Vehicle lap belt MUST be positioned
low on the hips contacting the thighs.
- Shoulder belt must be properly
positioned over shoulder (NOT
touching child’s neck and NOT off
shoulder).
- Never use shoulder belt when loose,
positioned under child’s arm, or
behind child.
- Do not allow child to slide down in
Booster Seat. This could position
vehicle lap belt across child’s
abdomen and shoulder belt over neck
or face.

WARNING!
• NEVER PLACE THIS BOOSTER SEAT IN A
VEHICLE SEATING LOCATION THAT HAS AN
AIR BAG. If an air bag inates, it can hit the
child and booster seat with
great force and cause serious
injury or death to your child.

This booster seat is designed for use by children
who are at least 4 years old and weigh between
40 and 100 pounds (18 and 45 kg) and whose
height is between 40 and 57 inches (101 and 145
cm).
Your child’s height, weight and age determine how
your booster seat should be used in the vehicle
and how your child should be restrained. See
information below:
Booster Seat USE:
MUST use vehicle lap and shoulder belt.
Child MUST meet ALL of the following
requirements:
• Child must be at
least 4 years old
and weigh between
40 and 100 pounds
(18 and 45 kg) and
• Child’s height is
between 40 and
57 inches (101 and
145 cm). and
• Ears below the
top of vehicle seat
headrest
• To avoid injuries from whiplash,
mid-point of child’s head must
be below top edge of headrest on
vehicle seat.
Use Recommendations
WARNING!

-Use booster seat in a rear vehicle seat
location whenever possible.
-Never put a booster seat in a front seat
location unless recommended by vehicle
owners manual.
-For vehicles with air bags, refer to owners
manual for child restraint installation
information.
If a front vehicle seat location with an air bag
must be used, follow the vehicle manufacturer’s
instructions for child restraint use and move the
vehicle seat back as far as possible.
Vehicle Seat Locations
National Highway Trafc Safety Administration
(NHTSA) alerts vehicle owners that according
to accident statistics, children up to age 12 are
safer when properly restrained in the rear seating
positions rather than in front seating positions.
This seat can only be used in the following classes
of vehicles: multi-purpose passenger vehicles,
passenger cars or trucks.
Refer to vehicle owners manual for booster seat
installation instructions for your vehicle.

5. Place vehicle shoulder belt in shoulder belt
clip (Fig 12). All slack should be removed
from vehicle belt to ensure proper t.

the instructions in

manual.

-The lap belt must be low and snugly
adjusted on hips, contacting the thighs.
-The shoulder belt
must be placed
UNDER armrest.

the chest and be
centered on the
shoulder.

belt clip to locate
the shoulder belt
in the correct
position.
-Do not place
shoulder belt
under child’s arm

To Remove Child:
1. Unbuckle vehicle seat belt.
2. Remove child.
Note: The booster should be securly belted in the
vehicle even when not in use.

Cup Holder Installation
1. One cup holder A
is provided with
each booster seat
which can be used
on either side of
the base. Select
the side of base
to install the cup
holder lifting up the
small ap Bon the trim cover just
in front of the armrest (Fig. 23).
2. Align the cup holder
support with the
base slot and push
down until the cup
holder is pressed
into the the base

Adjusting Shoulder Belt Clip
Lengthen Shoulder belt Adjuster:
1. See step 1 above
2. Continue holding the sides of the adjuster
pulling the
bottom web C
(opposite side
of red belt clip)
The length from
the top of base
to shoulder belt
clip should be
shorter (Fig.
26).
3. Adjust the shoulder belt clip length to the top
of the child’s shoulder. The vehicle shoulder
belt will lay across the child’s chest midway
between their shoulder and neck. Remove
all slack in the web when complete.

Shoulder Belt Clip is used only in
Backless Installation
1. Hold th black plastic adjuster with one hand
and push the top web with the other hand to
create a loop Ain the middle of the adjuster
(Fig. 10).
2. Continue holding the sides of the adjuster
pulling the bottom web B(same side of
red belt clip). The length from the base to
shoulder belt clip should be longer (Fig. 11).
3. Adjust the shoulder belt clip length to the
top of the
child’s shoulder.
The vehicle

Additional Information
Certication
This booster seat meets or exceeds all
applicable requirements of Federal Motor
Vehicle Safety Standard 213 for use in motor
vehicles.
Warm Weather Use
Booster seat parts can get very hot in
the sun or warm weather.
To avoid burns, always check booster
seat before putting child in booster seat.
Vehicle Seat Protection
Protect vehicle seat. Use a thin booster
seat mat, thin towel or thin blanket
under booster seat.
Booster seat Useful Life
DO NOT use after 7 years from manufacturered
date located on bottom of booster seat.
Not all vehicle seat belts will work with this booster
seat. You must determine if your vehicle seat belts
are compatible with this booster seat.
Aircraft Use
This Booster Seat is NOT certied
for use on aircraft.
Car seats without harness systems are NOT
certied for use on aircraft because there is no
shoulder belt available on aircraft.

ELR - Emergency Locking Retractor Belts
Denition:
These belts only lock in a sudden stop or crash. To
see if you have this type of belt, pull the belt all the
way out, let it return part way, then pull on it again.
If it moves freely, it is an ELR belt.
Use:
ELR lap and shoulder belts can be used with
Booster Seats.
Automatic/Passive Vehicle Seat Belts
Do not use any booster seat with motorized seat
belts or with seat belts mounted to the vehicle
front door.
Check your vehicle owners manual or contact your
vehicle dealer to see if there are alternatives for
securing a booster seat.
Belts in center of the door or side panel or
middle of the vehicle seat bottom cushion .
These types of vehicle seat typically work with a
Booster Seat.
Check for proper vehicle belt t on child.
