IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
The following basic safety precautions should be exercised when using this product:
• Read and save all Instructions.
• Do not use with non-heatproof vessels and exercise particular caution with metal mugs which can overheat and cause
damage to the unit or personal injury.
• Do not touch the heating plate when the unit is on and/or for at least 10 minutes after shutoff.
• Do not operate the unit with a dry/empty vessel.
• Do not obstruct the heating vents on the underside of the unit. Do not remove the non-slip foot pads.
• Always maintain close supervision when unit is used by or near children.
• Unplug power supply from the wall when not in use and before cleaning.
• Clean the power cord and main body with a clean, lightly dampened or dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or other liquid
to protect against fire, electric shock and personal injury.
• Do not operate the unit with any damage to the cord, plug, body, or heating plate, or after any malfunctions.
• Do not attempt to open or service the unit as this may cause personal injury and voids all warranties. If you experience
problems with the device, discontinue use and contact KIN for assistance.
• If any of the instructions provided are not followed, or the equipment is used in a manner not specified by the
manufacturer, protections provided by the unit for fire, electric shock or personal injury may be impaired.
• This product is intended to warm consumable liquids like water, coffee & tea, or for candles in heatproof containers only.
• Take extra care when using auto on/off by only placing heatproof items on the unit you want warmed and by keeping the
area around the unit clear at all times of any items that may fall onto the unit, causing it turn it on unintentionally.

Read Before Use
Please plug the unit into a power outlet then
place your mug onto the heating plate before
attempting to turn it on.
For the utmost safety, the Element Mug Warmer
will only turn on when the weight-sensing
switch is activated. It will remain OFF if there is
insufficient weight on the heating plate.
