1. Dis onne t from the mains supply before
pro eeding with the installation.
2. These produ ts should be onne ted to a lighting
ir uit or fused at a maximum of 5A.
3. The transformer in orporated in these produ ts has
an isolating 20VA loading and an output of 230V
and 115V on the dual voltage version and 230V on
the single.
4. Please he k with the manufa turers instru tions
for suitability with re hargeable shavers.
These units must be mounte horizontally on a
vertical surface. Please rea the instructions fully
before attempting installation an retain for future
reference.
1. Remove the diffuser by gently pressing the sides at
the point indi ated, in Fig.1, and lift out.
2. Remove the 60 watt 284mm tube by gently pushing
it sideways into the right hand or left hand so ket
and removing it from the so kets See Fig. 2
3. Remove the ba k plate of the shaver light and using
a template mark fixings in the required position on
the wall, and drill fixing holes a ordingly.
4. Conne t the able by passing through the hole in
the ba k plate and follow the odes as listed:
Live (L) = Brown or Red, Neutral (N) = Blue or
Bla k, ondu tor size 0.5mm to 1.5mm solid or
stranded, ensure that no strands of able are visible
outside the onne tor.
5. Pla e shaver light into position with bla k plate
se ured and s rew into wall with appropriate
s rews through the holes in the base of the unit.
6. Repla e the lamp and diffuser.
7. Swit h ba k on the mains supply and shaver light is
now ready for use.
Before plugging in the shaver, sele t the orre t out
put voltage (230 or 115) with the swit h provided
(dual voltage version only).
