
III. Basic operation
Charge your headphones
• Plug one end of the supplied micro-USB cable to your headphones micro-USB
port and the other end into the USB port of your computer or to a 5VDC USB
adapter to fully charge the battery.
• Make sure that the headphones are fully charged before using it for the first time.
• The headphones battery has to be charged for at least for 3 hours.
• While the headphones are being charged, the LED glows red.
• When the battery has reached full capacity, the LED will turn off.
Note: When the battery level is low there will be a sound indicating the battery
needs to be charged.
IV. Advanced operation
Note: Before installing this product, please make sure your device is Bluetooth®
compatible.
Pairing the headphones with your mobile device
1. Press and hold the power switch on the headphones to turn on the device.
2. Next, set your Bluetooth®mobile device to “discover” the wireless headset.
3. Place the headphones and your phone not more than one meter away from
each other.
4. The LED light will blink alternatively red and blue to indicate that the headphone
has entered into the pairing mode and that it is ready to be detectable for the
first time.
5. On your mobile phone, tap the newly discovered audio device (KNH-250) being
displayed in the Bluetooth®list.
6. When the mobile device asks if you want to pair with it, click Yes or OK
to accept.
7. If you have a lower Bluetooth®version, you may be prompted to enter the
passkey 0000 (4 zeros).
8. If pairing is successful, a tone will be heard and the LED will slowly blink blue. If
after 60 seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat steps 1 through 7
described above.
9. You only need to pair the headphone with your phone once, as it will re-connect
with memorized devices automatically.
Using the wireless headphones
1. Answering and ending a call
• When there is an incoming call, you will hear a ring and the LED blinks
alternatively red and blue.
• Briefly press the Multifunction button to pick it up. You may also press the
answer button on your cellular phone to take the call.
• To end a call, simply press the Multifunction button once again. Likewise, you
may also finish the call directly using the end key on your cell phone.
• To reject or ignore an incoming call, press and hold the Multifunction button
for about 1 second.
• If you want to redial the last number called, quickly press the Multifunction
button twice.
2. Music playback
• Briefly press the Multifunction button to reproduce and stop audio
playback.
• Press and hold the +/>>l and –/l<< buttons to go to the Next or Previous track.
• Press briefly the +/>>l and –/l<< buttons to increase or decrease the audio
level on the headphones.
• When listening to music using your mobile phone, playback will pause to allow
the call to go through.
• As soon as you hang up, music playback will resume automatically.
Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
The device is not
turning on.
The battery level might be low. Please recharge the
battery.
Batteries are not
being charged.
Check that the source device is ON, or adaptor is
correctly used.
Check that the micro-USB cable is securely connected.
Problem Solution
The device is not
pairing.
Place the wireless headphones and Bluetooth®device not
more than one meter away from each other.
The device can’t
connect to the
Bluetooth®mode
Confirm the headphone is under the pairing mode.
Confirm that the Bluetooth®function is turned ON in
your source device. Input code”0000” when requested.
There is no sound
when playing music.
Confirm that the connection with the Bluetooth®device is
set for profile A2DP.
Confirm that volume controls on both, the wireless
headphones and source device are set to the appropriate
levels.
Sound is distorted
when playing music.
Check that no other devices using the 2.4GHz
wavelength are nearby, and that there are no obstacles
blocking the signal path.
Can’t use the
hands-free mode.
Confirm that the wireless headphones and Bluetooth®
device are connected using the profile HFP or HSP. If the
Bluetooth®device is connected in profile A2DP, it may be
necessary to change connection profiles (depending on
the specifications of the Bluetooth®device).
