Información de seguridad
• Asegúrese de llevar siempre el equipo protector adecuado, esta
herramienta no está aislada.
• Haga una revisión cuidadosa y asegúrese de que el material que va a
engastar es compatible con esta herramienta y que la escala de engaste del
mismo está entre los valores de engaste . (Consulte la escala en la pag. 4
de este manual). No intente utilizar la herramienta sin no hay material en la
zona de engaste, podría dañarla.
• Por su seguridad, mantenga los dedos y las manos lejos de la zona de
trabajo cuando utilice, limpie o pruebe la engastadora.
• No apunte hacia nadie mientras utiliza la herramienta.
• Asegúrese de que los troqueles están bien sujetos a la abrazadera antes de
comenzar a engastar.
Uso del cargador CH-06
• El modelo CH-06 es apto para cargar baterías Ni-MH
B-02(14.4V).
• Una vez descargado y siempre que la temperatura
esté por debajo de los 40ºC, el cargador se cargará
automáticamente.

Instrucciones de la batería
Antes de utilizar la batería tenga en cuenta:
• Evite colocar la batería al lado de metales, se puede producir un
cortocircuito.
• Cuando no la utilice, guarde la batería en un lugar seco y limpio.
• Mantenga la batería fuera del alcance de los niños.
• Si dejamos la batería durante demasiado tiempo en el cargador de la
herramienta, puede que pierda parte de su capacidad o que se estropee.
• Mantenga la batería alejada del fuego y evite que se recaliente.
• Evite que la batería se moje, manténgala seca y limpia.
• No destruya el embalaje de la batería.
• No utilice baterías cuyo aspecto le resulte anormal o dudoso.
• Una vez utilizada notaremos que la batería está caliente.
• Para alargar la vida útil de su batería procure que no esté por debajo de
los 10ºC, las bajas temperaturas la deterioran .
• Consulte el manual de instrucciones para cargar la batería.
• No exponga la batería directamente a la luz del sol ni la coloque en lugares
muy calurosos mientras la carga.
• No use baterías de otras marcas.
• Si no va a utilizar la batería durante un tiempo, cárguela primero antes de
guardarla. Es aconsejable cargarla al menos una vez al mes para asegurar
su correcto mantenimiento.
Limpieza de la batería
• Los puntos de conexión (+/-) o la tapa de la batería sucia, puede que eviten
que la corriente eléctrica fluya. Sin esto sucediese, el monitor mostraría
“sin potencia” (“Without Power”) debajo de carga completada.
• Mantenga las conexiones (+/-) y la tapa de la batería siempre limpias, para
ello utilice únicamente un paño suave y seco.
• No use ningún tipo de limpiador ni producto químico para limpiar la
batería o el cargador, podrían dañarlos.

Reciclaje y deshecho
• Antes de tirar la batería a la basura asegúrese de que está totalmente
descargada.
• Cargue la batería al completo la primera vez que la utilice. Si tras un largo
periodo de tiempo nota que la batería cada vez le dura menos, es el
momento de reemplazarla por una nueva.
• Para prevenir explosiones o incendios, le recomendamos colocar pegatinas
identificativas en los conectores(+/-). Por favor, siga las normas de reciclaje
locales.
Funcionamiento de la engastadora
• Inserte la batería en la engastadora según se
muestra en el figura 1:
• Siga los siguientes pasos para colocar los troqueles

1. Empuje el anillo fijo y coloque los
troqueles.
2. Presione el anillo fijo para ajustar la

3. Pulse este pequeño botón e inserte
los troqueles.
4. Troqueles bien insertados.

• Una vez fijado el troquel, el material que va a engastar y la batería, pulse el
interruptor y el aceite fluirá hacia la herramienta , tal y como se muestra en
la figura 3

• En el cuerpo de la herramienta se encuentra el LED indicador de la
capacidad de la batería, tenga en cuentas las indicaciones que le
mostramos en el cuadro de abajo mientras esté engastando:

Aceite hidráulico
• Los únicos aceites hidraulicos que son compatibles con la engastadora a
batería EP-6 y EPL-6 son el SHEEL TELLUS T-15 y el SEA#20. Para evitar
daños en la herramenta no utilice otras marcas.
• Instrucciones el cambio de aceite: Afloje los tornillos y retire la tapa trasera.
Quite el tapón y añada el aceite
hidraulico de la marca que le hemos
indicado y vuelva a colocar el tapón
y la tapa.

Almacenaje
• Guarde la herramienta, el cargador y la batería en un lugar limpio y seco.
Asegúrese de cargar la batería al completo al menos una vez cada dos
meses para mantenerla en óptimas condiciones. Se recomienda limpiar la
herramienta y utilizar algún tipo de producto antioxidante en las partes
metálicas (troqueles, abrazaderas) antes de su almacenaje.
Resolución de fallos en la herramienta
• La engastadora no funciona en su posición inicial: compruebe que tiene
suficiente aceite hidráulico y de no ser así rellene el depósito hasta arriba.
Asegúrese de que el depósito no tiene ninguna impureza y de que no hay
nada que no pertenezca a la herramienta en su interior; de haber algo,
extráigalo.
• Funciona muy lentamente: compruebe si hay aire o algún tipo de impureza
en el depósito del aceite y de ser así deje salir el aire o cambie el aceite
por uno nuevo. Fíjese si los tornillos interiores están flojos. Otra de las
causas puede ser que los rodamientos metálicos del interior de la máquina
no estén colocados en la posición correcta, si ocurre esto, debe enviar la
herramienta para su revisión.
• Compruebe que la batería tiene potencia: revise que las placas de sujeción
interiores de la batería no estén dañadas u oxidadas y que las conexiones
de la batería y el cargador están en buen estado. Si encuentra algún fallo,
reemplace la parte dañada por una nueva.

• No existe bastante presión, o ésta está desequilibrada: este tipo de
herramienta suele perder presión tras un largo período de uso, para
restablecerla, apriete los tornillos interiores.
La presión de la herramienta viene fijada de fábrica y en ningún caso debe
usted intentar aumentarla o disminuirla. Para ajustarla, utilice una llave
Allen 4mm Hex
En sentido de la ajugas del reloj=Aumento de presión
En sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj=Disminución de la presión
Retire la tapa de protección interior de la herramienta.
Ajuste la presión.
Una vez realizados los ajustes, coloque de Nuevo la tapa interior de la
herramienta. No es conveniente ajustar la presión de la herramienta en
valores demasiado altos

Safety information
• Please wear protective equipments while operating to make sure your
safety. Warning: This tool is not insulated.
• Please kindly check the crimping range and suitable crimping material.
Please make sure that your crimping material is suitable for this tool and
your crimping material is in the range of EP-EPL-4001/4201/3001/2501.
(You could find the range at this manual page 1) Do not crimp without any
material in crimping area, otherwise the tool will be damaged.
• Please do not put your hands/fingers in the working area while operating,
cleaning and testing. This action is very dangerous.
• Please do not aim at anyone while operating. This action is very dangerous.
• Before crimping, the dies must be fixed tightly to the dies holder.
How to operate/use CH-06 charger
• The charger CH-06 can charge Ni-MH Battery
B-02(14.4V).
• After discharging, while the temperature is below 40
degree, the charger will charge automatically.

Manual / instruction of battery
Before operation please note
• Do not put the battery together with any metal. Otherwise the battery may
have a short circuit.
• Do not store the battery at a wet/hot space. Put battery in a dry clean
space.
• Do not give the battery to children. Keep the battery away from the
children.
• The electric capacity of battery may be lost and the battery may be
damaged if the battery is put in the tool or charger for a long time.
• Do not heat the battery or put the battery in the fire.
• Keep the battery away from water, no matter sea water or faucet water.
Please keep the battery dry & clean.
• Do not press/take apart/throw down the battery. Do not let the battery
near the water or fire. Also do not put the battery in your pocket.
• Do not destroy the housing/package/body of battery.
• Do not use old transformed battery with strange/abnormal appearance.
• The battery after use will be a little warm.
• The battery in low temperature (10 Degree or below), the battery will be
deteriorated and its use time will be shorter. This is normal.
• Please follow the instruction of battery manual to charge the battery.
• Do not charge the battery directly under the sun or in a space with high
temperature.
• Please use OPT charger to charge the OPT battery.
• Do not use battery with other brand.
• Please charge the battery before storage if you will not use the battery for
a long time. Please charge the battery at least once a month to ensure its
life.
How to clean the battery
• If the connecting points (+/-) or the cap of battery is dirty. It may cause
the electric current can not go through. Therefore you will find the digital
monitor will still show “Without Power” under full charged.
• Please keep the connecting points (+/-) or the cap of battery clean. Please
use dry soft cloth to wipe the battery housing/cap and even the connecting
points (+/-).
• Do not use cleaner or chemical cleaner to clean the battery or charger,
otherwise they will be damaged.

Recycle & throw away
• Make sure there is without any power inside the battery before throwing
the battery away.
• Please charge the battery full at the first time use. If the battery's use time
is shorter after long time use, it means you need to amend an extra new
battery.
• Please stick gummed tapes on the connecting points (+/-) for fire/
explosion preventing. Please follow the local rule of recycling.
How to operate/use KEB-400C battery crimper
• Insert the battery to CRIMPER as below picture 1, battery
will be buckled to the tool
• Follow four steps as below picture 2 to insert the dies

dies in.
2. Push the Fixed Ring as narrow
direction.
3. Press the small button here and
insert the dies.
4. Dies are well inserted.

• After setting the dies, crimping material and battery, please press the
Switch and Oil Return to operate the crimping dies to crimp, as below
picture 3:

Hydraulic oil
• The hydraulic oil for KEB-400C battery crimper:
Add/use hydraulic oil SHEEL TELLUS T-15 or SEA#20. Do not use other
brand. Otherwise the tool will be damaged.
• How to add hydraulic oil: Open the cap of oil-in hole. Take the plug out and
add the correct hydraulic oil in. Put the plug in and close the cap of oil-in
hole.

Storage
• Put the tool, charger and battery in a dry clean place. Please charge the
battery full once two months to make sure the life time. Clean the tool
and add some antirust oil on the metal parts, i.e. dies, dies holders before
storage.
Breakdown solving
• The crimper can not operate to the original position:
Please check if the hydraulic oil is enough or not. If not, please add the oil
full. Please check if there are any air/impurities inside the Oil Reservoir. If
yes, please let the air out or change a new Oil Reservoir. Please also check if
there is anything extra inside the main machine. Take it out.
• While operating, the speed is very slow:
Please check if there are any air/impurities inside the Oil Reservoir. If yes,
please let the air out or change a new Oil Reservoir. Please check if the
inner screws are all loosened. Please check the steel balls inside the main
machine are in correct position. If not, please send the tool back for further
support.
• Check if the battery has power:
Please check if the inner Ni-Plate/Ni-Plate Holder is all transformed or
broken or rusted. Please check the connecting points of battery & charger.
If there is any error, please replace the spare part.
