Problem Possible solutions
After connecting to the
dash camera’s Wi-Fi, the
mobile device’s screen
turns black or flashes
when trying to access the
Waycam app.
•If using an Android device, ensure you chose to connect
to the dash camera’s Wi-Fi when prompted. The dash
camera’s Wi-Fi network has no internet access, but will
function as a hotspot to connect your device to the
camera.
•Uninstall and reinstall the Waycam app. Ensure all app
permissions are allowed.
•Disconnect and remove the dash camera’s Wi-Fi
network from your mobile device. Attempt reconnecting
to the Wi-Fi network with the password.
The dash camera is not
recognising the MicroSD
card/video is not
recording.
•Ensure the MicroSD card used is of high quality.
•Ensure the MicroSD card used is between 8–128GB and
at least class 10.
The dash camera is
flashing.
•Ensure the Mini USB is well connected to the power
port of the dash camera.
•Ensure the voltage and current are sufficient. This dash
camera requires 5V and 2A of power.
