LIGHTNING FLASH WITH ARROWHEAD SYMBOL -
within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to
the presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the
products enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to
constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
EXCLAMATION POINT- within an equilateral triangle, is
used to indicate that a specific component shall be
replaced only by a replacement component specified in
that documentation for safety reason.
To achieve the utmost in enjoyment and performance and in order to become familiar with its features, please read
this manual carefully before attempting to operate the iPad dock. This will assure you years of trouble free
performance and listening pleasure.
Important Note
This safety and operating instruction manual should be retained for future reference.
The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing, or placed in a humid atmosphere such as a
bathroom.

Before turning on the power for the first time, make sure the power adaptor is properly connected.
For safety reasons, do not remove any covers or attempt to gain access to the inside of the product. Refer any
servicing to qualified personnel.
o not attempt to remove any screws, or open the casing of the unit; there are no user serviceable parts inside, refer
all servicing to qualified service personnel.

1. READ INSTRUCTIONS – All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the appliance is operated.
2. RETAIN INSTRUCTIONS - The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.
3. HEED WARNINGS – All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
4. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS – All operating instructions should be followed.
5. WATER AND MOISTURE – The appliance should not be used near water, for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool.
6. VENTILATION – The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. Do not place on bed, sofa, rug
or similar surface that may block the ventilation openings, in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet that may impede the flow of air through the
ventilation openings.
7. HEAT – The appliance should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or other appliances including amplifiers) that produce heat.
8. POWER SOURCE – the appliance should be connected to power supply of the type described in the operating instructions only, or as marked on the
appliance.
9. POWER CORD PROTECTION – power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against
them.
10. POWER LINES – any outdoor antenna should be located away from power lines.
11. O JECT AND LIQUID ENTRY – care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through openings.
12. ESD WARNING – the display does not function properly or not reaction to operation of any the control may due to the electrostatic discharge. Switch off and
unplug the set. Reconnect after a few seconds.
13. DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE – the appliance should be serviced by qualified service personal when:
a. the power-supply cord or plug has been damaged.
b. Objects have fallen into, or liquid has been spilled into the appliance enclosure.
c. The appliance has been exposed to rain.
d. The appliance has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged.
e. The appliance does not appear to operate normally.
14. SERVICING – the user should not attempt to service the appliance beyond that described in the user operation instructions. All other servicing should be
referred to qualified service personnel.
15. DO ensure that all electrical connections including the mains plug, extension leads and inter-connections between the pieces of equipment) are properly
made and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Switch off and unplug the power before making or changing connections.
16. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

power and consult your dealer.
22. REPAIR OR REPLACE all electric service cords that have become frayed or otherwise damaged immediately. Do not use a cord that shows cracks or
abrasion damage along its length, the plug, or the connector end.

To install the bracket:
a. Push these 2 clasps outwards while moving the bracket to the correct
position.
b. Release these 2 clasps when position is right.

attery installation:
1. Insert thumb into thumbgrip as shown above and
push slider towards end of remote, sliding cover off.
2. Install 2 new batteries which are non-rechargeable
by following the marking inside the battery
compartment.
Note: Please do not reverse any battery and do not
mix battery types. Also do not mix old and new
batteries. When discarding old batteries, please
dispose of them thoughtfully.

You may already be familiar with using a similar unit, but please take time to read these instructions.
Your safety and the safety of others are very important.
Therefore, ensure you read the “Safety Instructions” before you operate this unit.
Switch On
1. Extend the cable antenna found on the rear of your appliance.
2. Connect the Power Adaptor to the C socket on the back of the unit. Then insert the Power Adaptor into the desired
wall outlet.
3. Press to switch on, when the first time you turn it on. When inserting your iPhone or iPad onto the dock, we
recommend you install the ‘Kogan’ App which is available for free from the App Store.
How to download “Kogan Dock” via the App tore:
Note: the first generation of iPod Touch/iPhone is not compatible with App.
1. In your iPod Touch/ iPhone/iPad’s main menu, open the App Store by clicking the App store icon:
2. In the App store, search for ‘Kogan Dock’.
3. Touch ‘Kogan Dock’ icon, and then hit the "free" button,
it will then change the "free" to "install". Click again to
install. Here is where you will enter your user name and
password. You should only have to enter your username
once and your iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad will remember it,
but you will need to always enter a password to prevent
just anyone from downloading apps to your equipment.
4. Once your iTouch/iPhone/iPad has started downloading the app, a status bar will show up to indicate how long
it will take to download, wait until download is completed.
5. Insert your iPod Touch / iPhone / iPad onto the docki, and then you can access ‘Kogan ock’.

The way of enjoying ‘TuneIn’:
1. Touch to turn your device into ‘Kogan’ radio mode.
Note that touch to access a illustrative picture which shows distribution of main keys as well as settings
sections. Touch again to exit.
Search tation
The path is:
a. Touch to enter internet radio mode.
b. Touch and then you will get ten ways for searching stations: My
Pre et , Local Radio, Mu ic, Talk, Sport , By Location, By language,
Podca t and Setting .
c. Follow your personal preference, choose programs which you prefer.
TuneIn Sign in or Regi tration
The path is:
a. Touch , or via remote control press (Internet button) to
enter internet radio mode.
b. Touch , and then the display will enter “Sign in or Registration” as
right photo.
TuneIn Station Pre et

1. While your selected Tuneln program is playing, touch , your device will
show you ‘Add to pre et’, touch OK, then changed to .
2. If you want remove the preset, touch , and then touch OK.
Acce to a Pre et tation
1. Touch or, via remote control press (internet
button) to enter internet radio mode.
2. Touch to let your device into preset list.
3. Touch the program you want to play, it is done!
Delete Pre et
1. Refer above step1-2 from ‘acce to a pre et tation’, then
touch shows next to each preset station
program.
2. Touch of the preset you wish to delete. will then
rotate 90 degrees and a ‘delete’ icon will appear. Touch
‘delete’ to confirm that you wish to delete.
Trouble hooting
While your internet program is playing, you can find icon,
touch to access to view troubleshooting.
Touch to exit.

1. Touch to turn your device into ‘Kogan’ radio mode, if currently it isn’t.
2. Touch or via remote control by pressing (FM button) to go into FM mode.
3. For first time use, it will start at the beginning of the FM frequency range (87.50MHz). Otherwise, the last
accessed FM station should be selected.
4. To manually scan FM frequency, while frequency is showing up, gently touch or to
change it 0.05MHz per step.
5. To perform auto ‘Scanning…’, there are three methods:
a. To forward auto ‘Scanning…’ the next active station, touch and then touch .
b. To backward auto ‘Scanning…’ the next active station, make sure frequency shows up, touch
and then touch .
c. Or, simply touch to conduct auto ‘Scanning…’
FM Station Pre et
To tore current playing FM program a your favorite:
1. Touch , your radio will invite you ‘Please enter a name’.
2. Touch ‘Unknown’, and the keyboard will appear for you to name the current
preset station.
3. Touch to erase ‘unknown’ enter suitable name for station touch
from dialog box. Station is preset.

Acce to a Pre et tation
1. Touch to enter FM mode if currently it isn’t.
2. Touch to let your device into ‘Pre et li t
’.
3. Slide screen to your targeting preset and touch it, your
device will access the radio station immediately.
Delete Pre et
3. Touch and will appear next to each
preset station.
4. Touch next to the preset to delete. will
rotate 90 degrees and a ‘delete’ icon will appear.
Press “ elete” to confirm and the preset will be
cleared.
Play AUX IN Program
Note: a. make sure your device is powered on and runs into radio mode, if currently it isn’t, touch .
b. using the connection lead, your radio can act as a high quality speaker system.
Aux In mode plays audio from an external source such as MP3 player.
1. Connect the external audio source to the Aux input 3.5 mm stereo socket
2. Touch or press (AUX button via remote control) to let your device runs into AUX mode.
3. Adjusting volume level is necessary by pressing VOL. + or VOL. – via your remote control, or you can have your
device mute by touching or pressing (MUTE button).
The way of play iPod Touch//iPhone/iPad:
1. Press to switch on your device if currently it is at OFF condition.
2. Touch to convert into iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad mode.
Once an iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad is docked, your device will charge it immediately.
3. Select whichever programme you wish to use to play your media.

1. Connect video cable to both video out socket of your device and video source on your TV or computer.
2. Insert iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad into the dock.
3. Touch (video icon) to shift your device into video mode.
4. Touch to previous track, touch to next track, Touch to pause, touch to play. Or turn video on/off by
pressing (VIDEO ON/OFF button) via your remote control.
Play iPad Program
Note: a. make sure your device is powered on and runs into radio mode, if currently it isn’t, touch .
b. iPad is managed and synced by iTunes running on a personal computer via U B cable.
1. Touch to go to iPad mode.
2. Touch ‘menu icon’ you will get five categories: Song ,
Arti t , Album , Album and Song , etc.
3. Follow your personal preference, choosing whichever option suits
you. Make your selection to start the music playing.
4. While a track is playing:
a. Touch to previous track, touch to next
track
b. Touch to pause, touch to play
c. Touch to repeat current track once, touch it again to
repeat all, touch a third time to cancel ‘repeat’ function.
d. Touch to shuffle
Or
Via your remote control:
Press to previous track, Press to next track, Press to play/pause,
Press to shuffle or press to repeat.
Press VOL. + or VOL. – to adjust volume level if necessary.

Change kin
Four skin options are available: Sky in Blue, Secret in Black, Fire in Red and Grass in Green.
To change the app skin, touch , and then touch your preferred one.
Setting Alarm
2 Alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2), touch corresponding alarm button or to enter its setting mode.
Follow your device’s instruction, configure the following parameters:
Enable: Slide the small circle to the right side to get alarm on.
Time: refer to below photo Slide the bar to set your selecting Alarm
sounds time (Hours, Minutes) touch to confirm.
Sound: Sound (No Sound, efault Sound), iPod Music, Internet
Radio or FM, touch to move back
Repeat (=Alarm ound frequency): Sunday, Monday to
Saturday, touch to move back
Snooze time: 1-8 minutes, touch to move back
Volume: Slide the small circle to define alarm volume level, finally,
touch to get your alarm works.
To Operate SNOOZE
When Alarm is sounding, touch to postpone it.
When radio reaches SNOOZE time, it will be sound again.
To Turn Off Alarm
When alarm is sounding, touch .

Set EQ
Note: EQ, (also known as the Equalizer), is used when you want to adjust sound settings.
1. To access the equalizer, follow these steps:
a. Touch , your device will go directly into EQ setting mode. There are 5 options available: Flat, Pop,
Rock, Jazz and Classic.
b. Touch you preferred option, will appear next to your selected setting.
Or via your remote control, while a program is playing, press Flat, Pop, Rock, Jazz or Cla ic button to set it.
ON/OFF X-Ba
a. Touch , ON/OFF options will be available.
b. Touch you preferred setting.
Set Sound
This function offers you Ba and Treble options with range from +8dB to -8dB for your personal settings.
1. To alter these settings:
a. Touch to enter setting mode.
b. According to your personal preference, slide the white circle to set
value of Bass/Treble.
Go to home page
1. Touch .
Volume Control
Adjust the device volume by touching + or – repeatedly, and the value of will be
changed accordingly.
Or via your remote control, while a program is playing, press VOL+, or VOL- button repeatedly
to adjust.

1. To set your clock appearance:
a. Touch , Clock Type: ‘Analog/Digital’ shows at the first line under the title of settings.

a. Touch , and ‘Brightne ’ will be displayed on the second line of settings.
