Gerätes.
Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt
entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil
dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für
Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie
sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen Bedien-
und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das
Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebe-
nen Einsatzbereiche. Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung
gut auf. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weiterga-
be des Produkts an Dritte mit aus.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieser Alarm-Türstopper ist ausschließlich für die
Überwachung von Türen im Privatgebrauch vorgese-
hen und dient durch seinen extrem lauten Alarmton
der Abschreckung von Einbrechern. Dieses Produkt ist
nicht für den gewerblichen oder industriellen Einsatz
vorgesehen. Für Schäden, die aus nicht bestimmungs-
gemäßem Gebrauch des Gerätes resultieren, wird
keine Gewährleistung übernommen!

■ Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Per-
sonen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten

werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für Ihre
Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt oder
erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu
benutzen ist.
■ Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzu-
stellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
■ Nehmen Sie keine eigenmächtigen Umbauten
oder Veränderungen an dem Gerät vor.
■ Eine Reparatur des Gerätes während der Garantie-
zeit darf nur von einem vom Hersteller autorisierten
Kundendienst vorgenommen werden, sonst besteht
bei nachfolgenden Schäden kein Garantieanspruch
mehr.
■ Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht an Orten auf, die direkter
Sonnenstrahlung ausgesetzt sind. Anderenfalls kann
es überhitzen und irreparabel beschädigt werden.
■ Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und dem
Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten. Stellen Sie keine mit
Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegenstände (z. B. Vasen) auf
das Gerät.
Hinweise zum Umgang mit Batterien
GEFAHR
Eine falsche Handhabung von Batterien
kann zu Feuer, Explosionen, Auslaufen
gefährlicher Stoffe oder anderen
Gefahrensituationen führen!
► Werfen Sie die Batterie nicht ins Feuer.
► Schließen Sie die Batterie nicht kurz.
► Versuchen Sie nicht die Batterie wieder aufzu-
laden.
► Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Batterie. Ausge-
tretene Batteriesäure kann dauerhafte Schäden
am Gerät verursachen.
► Im Umgang mit einer beschädigten oder aus-
gelaufenen Batterie besondere Vorsicht walten
lassen. Verätzungsgefahr! Schutzhandschuhe
tragen.
► Batterie für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahren.
Bei Verschlucken umgehend einen Arzt aufsuchen.
► Entnehmen Sie die Batterie aus dem Gerät,
wenn Sie es längere Zeit nicht benutzen.

Inbetriebnahme
♦ Entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie.
♦ Stellen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 4in die Position
„OFF“.
♦ Schrauben Sie das Batteriefach 5auf der Geräte-
unterseite mit einem Kreuzschraubendreher auf.
♦ Ziehen Sie den Batteriefach-Hebel 6nach oben
und nehmen den Batteriefachdeckel ab.
♦ Schließen Sie die 9 V-Blockbatterie an.
♦ Legen Sie die Batterie in das Gerät ein und ver-
schrauben Sie wieder das Batteriefach 5.
♦ Führen Sie zum Abschluss noch einen Funktionstest
durch. Decken Sie hierzu zunächst die Sirene 1
mit der Hand oder einem Tuch etc. zur Vermeidung
von Hörschäden ab.
♦ Stellen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 4in die Position
„ON“ und drücken Sie dann die Metallplatte 3
des Türstoppers so weit nach unten, bis der Alarm
ertönt. Der Alarm ist jederzeit zu unterbrechen,
indem Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 4in die Position
„OFF“ stellen.
HINWEIS
► Leuchtet in Schalterstellung „ON“ die rote LED 2,
muss die Batterie durch eine neue Batterie des
gleichen Typs ersetzt werden.
Türsicherung von innen
Stellen Sie den Türstopper mit der Keilspitze zur Woh-
nungs- oder Haustür zeigend direkt hinter den unteren
Türspalt. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Metallplatte 3
des Türstoppers nicht bereits heruntergedrückt wird.
Stellen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 4in die Position
„ON“. Bei dem Versuch die Tür von außen zu öffnen
wird die Metallplatte 3des Türstoppers herunterge-
drückt und der Alarm ausgelöst. Gleichzeitig ist die
Tür aufgrund der Keilform des Türstoppers für den
Eindringling blockiert. Wird der Alarm nicht unterbro-
chen, stoppt dieser nach ca. 1 Minute automatisch.
Danach ist der Türstopper wieder einsatzbereit.
Türsicherung von außen
Stellen Sie den eingeschalteten Türstopper hinter die
noch einen kleinen Spalt geöffnete Tür und ziehen Sie
sie dann zu.
Die Effekte sind wie bei der Türsicherung von innen:
Öffnungsversuch, Blockade, Alarm!
Beim Zurückkehren in das gesicherte Objekt öffnen
Sie vorsichtig die Tür einen kleinen Spalt.
Stellen Sie den Türstopper zur Seite und öffnen Sie
die Wohnungs- bzw. Haustür wie gewohnt.

Reinigung/Lagerung
ACHTUNG
► Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine
Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät eindringt, um eine irrepa-
rable Beschädigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.
♦ Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem trockenen,
weichen Tuch.
♦ Sollten Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen,
entnehmen Sie die Batterie und lagern Sie es
an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort ohne direkte
Sonneneinstrahlung.
Entsorgung
Das nebenstehende Symbol einer durchgestri-
chenen Mülltonne auf Rädern zeigt an, dass
dieses Gerät der Richtlinie 2012/19/EU
unterliegt. Diese Richtlinie besagt, dass Sie dieses
Gerät am Ende seiner Nutzungszeit nicht mit dem
normalen Haushaltsmüll entsorgen dürfen, sondern in
speziell eingerichteten Sammelstellen, Wertstoffhöfen
oder Entsorgungsbetrieben abgeben müssen.
Diese Entsorgung ist für Sie kostenfrei.
Schonen Sie die Umwelt und entsorgen Sie
fachgerecht.
Weitere Informationen erhalten Sie bei Ihrem
lokalen Entsorger oder der Stadt- bzw.
Gemeindeverwaltung.
Das Produkt ist recycelbar, unterliegt einer
erweiterten Herstellerverantwortung und wird
getrennt gesammelt.
Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach
umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnis-
chen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und
deshalb recyclebar. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr
benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich
geltenden Vorschriften.
Beachten Sie die Kennzeichnung auf den
verschiedenen Verpackungsmaterialien und
trennen Sie diese gegebenenfalls gesondert.
Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind gekennzeichnet mit
Abkürzungen (a) und Ziffern (b) mit folgender
Bedeutung:
1–7: Kunststoffe, 20–22: Papier und Pappe,
80–98: Verbundstoffe.
Batterien entsorgen
Batterien dürfen nicht über den Hausmüll
entsorgt werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist
gesetzlich verpflichtet, Batterien bei einer
Sammelstelle seiner Gemeinde/seines Stadtteils oder im
Handel abzugeben. Sie können giftige Schwermetalle
enthalten und unterliegen der Sondermüllbehandlung.
Die chemischen Symbole der Schwermetalle sind wie
folgt: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Quecksilber, Pb = Blei.
Geben Sie Batterien nur im entladenen Zustand zurück.

Garantie der

Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde,
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab
Kaufdatum. Im Falle von Mängeln dieses Produkts
stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts
gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte
werden durch unsere im Folgenden dargestellte
Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte
bewahren Sie den Kassenbon gut auf. Dieser wird als
Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt.
Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum
dieses Produkts ein Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler
auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl –
für Sie kostenlos repariert, ersetzt oder der Kaufpreis
erstattet. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass
innerhalb der Dreijahresfrist das defekte Gerät und
der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon) vorgelegt und schriftlich
kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht und
wann er aufgetreten ist.
Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist,
erhalten Sie das reparierte oder ein neues Produkt
zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts
beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.
Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht
verlängert. Dies gilt auch für ersetzte und reparierte
Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden
und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken
gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit
anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.
Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien
sorgfältig produziert und vor Auslieferung gewissen-
haft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikations-
fehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produkttei-
le, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher
als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für
Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schal-
ter, Akkus oder Teile, die aus Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt,
nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde. Für
eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle
in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisun-
gen genau einzuhalten. Verwendungszwecke und
Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung
abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbe-
dingt zu vermeiden.
Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den
gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuch-
licher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltan-
wendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer
autorisierten Serviceniederlassung vorgenommen
wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

The operating instructions are a constituent of this
product. They contain important information with
regard to safety, use and disposal. Before using the
product, familiarise yourself with all operating and
safety instructions. Use this device only as described
and only for the specified areas of application. Retain
these instructions for future reference. Please also
pass these operating instructions on to any future

Intended use
This alarmed door stopper is exclusively intended for
monitoring doors in private households, and is used
for scaring off burglars because of its extremely loud
alarm tone. This product is not intended for commer-
cial or industrial use. The warranty does not provide
compensation for damage caused by improper use of
the device!

■ Do not make any unauthorised modifications or
alterations to the device.
■ Repairs to the device during the warranty period
may only be carried out by a customer service
department authorised by the manufacturer.
Otherwise no additional warranty claims can be
considered for subsequent damage.
■ Do not place the device in locations that are
subject to direct sunlight, as this could lead to
overheating and cause irreparable damage.
■ Protect the device from moisture and liquid pene-
tration. Do not place any liquid-filled vessels (such
as flower vases) on the device.
Information on using batteries
DANGER
Mishandling the batteries can cause fires,
explosions, leakages or other hazards!
► Do not throw the batteries into the fire.
► Do not short-circuit the batteries.
► Do not attempt to recharge the batteries.
► Check the condition of the batteries regularly.
Leaking battery acid can cause permanent
damage to the appliance.
► Special care should be taken when handling
damaged or leaking batteries. Risk of acid
burns! Wear protective gloves.
► Store batteries in a place that is inaccessible to
children. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical
attention IMMEDIATELY.
► If you do not intend to use the appliance for
a long time, remove the batteries.

Use
♦ Remove the protective film.
♦ Set the On/Off switch 4to the “OFF” position.
♦ Unscrew the battery compartment 5on the under-
side of the device using a Phillips screwdriver.
♦ Pull the battery compartment lever 6upwards
and remove the battery compartment cover.
♦ Connect the 9 V block battery.
♦ Insert the battery into the device and screw the
battery compartment 5closed again.
♦ Then perform a function test. First cover up the si-
ren 1 with your hand or a cloth to avoid damage
to your hearing.
♦ Move the On/Off switch 4to “ON” and push
down the metal plate 3of the door stopper until
the alarm goes off. The alarm can be interrupted
at any time by moving the On/Off switch 4to the
“OFF” position.
NOTE
► If the red LED 2 illuminates with the switch in
the "ON" position, the battery must be replaced
with a new one of the same type.
Protecting the door from the inside
Place the door stopper with the tip of the wedge
pointing towards the front door, directly behind the
lower door gap. Ensure that the metal plate 3of the
door stopper is not already pressed down.
Move the on/off switch 4to the position “ON”.
When an attempt is made to open the door from the
outside, the metal plate 3of the door stopper is
pressed down and the alarm is triggered. At the same
time, the wedge shape of the door stopper blocks the
door. If the alarm tone is not interrupted, it stops auto-
matically after approx. 1 minute. The door stopper is
then ready for operation again.
Protecting the door from the outside
Switch on the door stopper and position it behind the
door, which should be open a little way, and then
close the door.
The effects are the same as when protecting the door
from the inside. Opening attempt, blockage, alarm!
When you wish to re-enter the protected property,
carefully open the door a little.
Move the door stopper to one side and open the
front door as usual.

Cleaning/Storage
CAUTION
► To avoid irreparable damage, ensure that no
moisture penetrates the device during cleaning.
♦ Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth.
♦ Should you choose not use the device for a longer
period, remove the battery and store it in a clean,
dry place away from direct sunlight.
Disposal
The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out wheelie
bin means that this appliance is subject to
Directive 2012/19/EU. This directive states
that this appliance may not be disposed of in normal
household waste at the end of its usable life, but must
be handed over to specially set-up collection
locations, recycling depots or disposal companies.
This disposal is free of charge for the user.
Protect the environment and dispose of
this appliance properly.
You can obtain further information from your
local disposal company or the city or local
authority.

The packaging materials have been selected
for their environmental compatibility and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer
needed in accordance with applicable local
regulations.
Note the labelling on the packaging and
separate the packaging material components
for disposal if necessary. The packaging
material is labelled with abbreviations (a) and
numbers (b) with the following meanings:
1–7: Plastics,
20–22: Paper and cardboard,
80–98: Composites.
Disposing of the batteries
Batteries should not be disposed of with nor-
mal household waste. Consumers are legally
obliged to dispose of used batteries at a
collection point in their town/district or at a retail
store. They may contain poisonous heavy metals and
must be disposed of in accordance with the rules for
the treatment of hazardous waste. The chemical sym-
bols for heavy metals are as follows:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
Dispose of batteries only when they are fully dis-
charged.

warranty
Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the
date of purchase. If this product has any faults, you,
the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory
rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty
described below.
Warranty conditions
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase.
Please keep your receipt in a safe place. This will be
required as proof of purchase.
If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within
three years of the date of purchase of the product,
we will either repair or replace the product for you
or refund the purchase price (at our discretion). This
warranty service requires that you present the defec-
tive appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt)
within the three-year warranty period, along with a
brief written description of the fault and of when it
occurred.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product
will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair
or replacement of a product does not signify the
beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for
defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
effected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components. Any damage
and defects present at the time of purchase must
be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs
carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall
be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance
with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulous-
ly prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production
faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts
subject to normal wear and tear or to fragile parts
which could be considered as consumable parts such
as switches, batteries or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been
damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained.
The directions in the operating instructions for the
product regarding proper use of the product are
to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are
discouraged in the operating instructions or which are
warned against must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be
deemed void in cases of misuse or improper han-
dling, use of force and modifications/ repairs which
have not been carried out by one of our authorised
Service centres.

Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your case, please ob-
serve the following instructions:
■ Please have the till receipt and the item number
(e.g. IAN12345) available as proof of purchase.
■ You will find the item number on the type plate
on the product, an engraving on the product, on
the front page of the operating instructions (below
left) or on the sticker on the rear or bottom of the
product.
■ If functional or other defects occur, please contact
the service department listed either by telephone
or by e-mail.
■ You can return a defective product to us free of
charge to the service address that will be provided
to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of pur-
chase (till receipt) and information about what the
defect is and when it occurred.
