Quick Guide for
SIMJXAD
CP32 MKII Chartplotter

[MOB] Activates the Man
OverBoard
function.
[MENU] Turns menu bar
on/off
Exits any data
display without taking any action.
[+/-ZOOM] Changes chart scale.

out,
and toggles between available values.
[GOTO]
Shortcut
to
chart display from any
other display and quick access to navigation
from the chart.
[PLOT] Activates window for plotting of new
data.
Alphanumeric keys for direct access
to
9 chart
scales

Quick Scale, and insertion of numbers
and names.
The
[O}
key will bring the cursor/ship
to
center
of chart.
[PWR]
Power on -hold key depressed till you
have a picture
on
the screen. Activates menu
for setting

power off.

[CLR] Switches cursor off in chart (ship will
now
stay
on the screen). Deletes data when in enter
or
edit mode. Leaps
to
the first
vacant
waypoint

MENU
Press the [MENU] key to toggle
the menu on/off. The individual
menus are selected by keying
the
number next to
the
menu
name or
by using the multi-direction
cursor
key to highlight the menu. and
pressing
[ENT].

Press [MENU],
[l],
[Z]
whenever
insating
or
removing a
catridge.
Chart orientation
LPress
[MENU],
[l],
[S]
to load
Chart setup 2.
2.Move
cursor
to
‘Orientation’,
and use
+/-
keys to toggle be-
tween NORTH UP, HEAD UP
and NAV UP.
3.Move
cursor
to ‘Motion’, and
toggle between TRUE or
kELATIVE.

(press [CLR] from chart display)
to
enable chart rotation.
Navigate to cursor

destination
