JS-505 Job Separator
I. Accessory parts
Note:
This manual provides the illustrations of the acces-
sory parts and machine that may be slightly differ-
ent in shape from yours. In that case, instead of
the illustrations, use the appearance of your
machine to follow the installation procedure. This
does not cause any significant change or problem
with the procedure.
II. Installation procedures
1. Turn off the machine and unplug the power cord
from the power outlet.
2. Remove protective tape and shipping materials
and take out accessory parts.
3. Remove the protective vinyl bag from the hookup
cord.

After unpacking, be sure to get rid of the
packaging materials and keep them out of
the reach of children.
Putting the head in the plastic bag
involves danger of suffocation.

4. Attach the supplied spacer A and spacer B to the
locations of the job separator as shown in the
illustration. (Each two supplied screw A’s)
Note:
To attach the spacers, put the job separator upside
down on a flat surface.
5. Remove the output tray if it is mounted on the
machine.
* Remove it while pushing the claws of the output
tray in the direction of the allow ➀shown on the
illustration and unhook.
6. Peel seal off the machine.
7. Peel seals off the machine. (Two seals)
Note:
Perform this step only when the machine has the
seals on the places shown in the illustration.
8. Remove the cover from the main body as shown
in the illustration. (One screw)

9. Remove the plate from the main body as shown
in the illustration. (Two screws)
Note:
Be careful not to drop the screws into the machine.
10.Fully screw down the supplied shoulder screw.
11. Install the job separator.
Note:
• When installing the job separator, align the U-
groove of the job separator with the shoulder
screw.
• When installing the separator in the C360/
C280/C220 machine, to prevent the corner A of
the separator from hitting against the portion R
of the machine cover, put the corner A of the
separator inside the frame of the machine cover
as shown and then slightly rotate the separator
in the direction of the arrow.

Insert this side first.
Rotate the job separator into place.
12. Secure the job separator to the machine by the
mounting cover. (The two supplied screw B’s)
13. Connect the hookup cord to the machine.
