deviceturnsonafterpluggingitscabletotheelectricalsocket.
Description
AccordingtoLawsofThermodynamicstherearethreetypesofheattransfers:
- conduction,
- convection,
- radiation.
Theso-called‚radiantheaters’functionusingtheradiantheattransferprinciple.The
radiantheatersactlikethesun-theyheattheobjectsthatareexposedtothem.With
radiantheatingobjectsandpeopleareheatedinadirectway,withoutheatingupthe
airin-between.Theairwarmsupafterwards,bytheconvectionheatreleasedfrom
thepeopleandobjects.
GoldSunheatersbelongtothecategoryof‚lowintensity’ heaters. Each heater is
equippedwithahalogenelectriclamp.Thelamentoftheseheaters’lampsreaches
upto1200°Cwithinasecond.Hence,pleasantfeelingofwarmthoccursimmediately
afterswitchingthedeviceon.Thesecharacteristicsofinfraredheatersguaranteeef-
fectiveandeconomicheatingsolution.Additionally,theyareclean,odourless,silent,
andenvironmentallyfriendly.
Itisrecommendedtocontacttheauthorisedagentsastoconsultdevice’scapacity
andmountingplacedeterminantion.

Exploitation
Ensurethattheinstallationoftheheaterhasbeencarriedoutproperlyandthatthe
electriccurrentisnotbeloworabovepermissiblelimits.
Installationcarriedoutinaccordancewiththismanualensuresalonglifeandreliable
operationoftheheater.
1. Disconnecttheelectricsupplywhentheheaterisnotused.
2. Fluctuationswithintheelectricvoltagewillreducelamp’slifespan.
3. Eachheaterpossessesaprotectivefencewhichpreventsanyundesireditems
fromreachingtheheatingelements(e.g.electriccablesetc.)
4. Donotusetheheaterwhentheprotectivefenceisuninstalled.Theprotective
fencedoesnotfullsafetyfunctione.g.againstchildren.
5. Donotplaceanyitemsinsidetheheateranddonottouchthelamp.
6. Whileinuse-staywithinatleast1.25mdistancefromtheheater.
7. Prolongedlookingatthelampmaycausesight-damage.Whiletheheaterison
avoidlookingatthelamp.
8. Thedeviceshouldbeprotectedfromvibrationsandtremorsevenwhenswitched
off.
9. Donotcovertheheater.
10. Makesurethatitemsmadeoutofammablematerialssuchasnylon,curtains
etc.arewithinatleast1.25mdistancefromtheheater.
11. Makesurethatchildrenhavenoaccesstotheheater.
When the heater does not work
- donotattempttoxtheheateronone’sown,
- disconnectthedevicefrompowersupply,
- contacttheclosestauthorisedservice.
Installation
Infraredheatersetcontainspowersupplycablewithagrounding-typeplug.Connection
totheelectricalinstallationdoesnotrequiredismantlinganyofthedevice’selements.
1. Ensurethattherearenoammableitems(includingpowersupplysocket)within
thedistanceof1,25mfromtheheater.
2. Attachdevice’shangerpermanently.
3. Adjusttheangleoftheheater.

Heater’s deactivation
Inordertodeactivatetheheaterfollowprocedurebelow:
- turnofftheelectricpowersupply,
- makesurethattheheateriscold,
- whileholdingdevice’scase,loosenthescrewsonbothsidesofheater’shanger
(itisrecommendedtocooperatewithanotherpersonduringthisprocedure);
- ifthehangercanbereplacedfromthewall-undothescrewsandreplaceit,
- covertheheaterwithshock-absorbantmaterialbeforepacking,
- in case you need help with device’s deactivation-contact closest authorised
service.

Reector’s cleaning
Whenitisnecessarytocleanthereector,followtheprocedurebelow:
- switchoffelectricpowersupply,
- ensurethattheheateriscold,
- takeofffrontprotectivefence,
- cleanthereectorwithadrycloth,
- donottouchthelampwithbarehandsduringthecleaningprocedure;however,
ifthelampgetsdirty,cleanitwithasoftclothsoakedinalcohol,
- re-installthefrontprotectivefence,
- turnelectricpowersupplyon.

Usedproductcan’tbetreatedasgeneralcommunalwaste.Disassembledappliancehas
tobedeliveredtothecollectionpointofelectricalandelectronicequipmentforrecycling.
Appropriateutilisationofusedproductpreventspotentialnegativeenvironmentalinu-
encesthatmayoccurasaresultofinappropriatehandlingofwaste.
