SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Please read this operation manual carefully before use.
2. The safety and maintenance instructions in this operation manual
should be retained for future reference and must be followed at all
times.
3. Keep the product away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters or
other appliances that produce heat.
4. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight for longer periods. High
temperatures will shorten the life of the product, destroy the battery and
distort certain plastic parts.
5. Do not expose the product to extreme cold as it may damage the
internal circuit board.
6. Avoid liquids getting into the product.
7. Do not throw with or stamp on the product. This may damage the
internal circuit board.
8. Do not try to disassemble the product. This must only be done by a
professional.
9. Do not use concentrated chemical products or detergent to clean the
product.
10. Keep the surface away from sharp things, as these may cause damage
to the plastic parts.
11. Use 5V / 1A power supplies only. The connection of power supplies with
higher voltage may lead to severe damage.
12.Donotarbitrarilydiscardorplacethelithiumbatterynearreorintense
heat in order to avoid a risk of explosion.

If you do experience any problems with your product please contact the
retailer you purchased the product from. The retailer will provide you with
guidance and if that does not solve the problem, the retailer will handle the
claim directly with KREAFUNK.

CHARGE aTUNE
(3.7V rechargeable built-in battery)
1. Connect aTUNE to a USB-C cable and plug the USB-C cable to a USB
socket.
2. Battery volume on the LCD display blinks during charging. It stops
blinking after fully charged.
GETTING STARTED
1. Unclip the antenna and fully extend it.
2. Long press POWER button to turn on aTUNE.
3. It will go to DAB mode as default to search for DAB stations and play the
1st one after search.
4. Time will be synchronized automatically after receiving DAB radio
stations.
INTRODUCTION OF OPERATION BUTTONS
1. Power button/Volume knob:
• Longpresstoturnonoro.
• Short press to go in and out of standby mode.
• Volume knob: Adjust volume.
2. SOURCE: Switch between DAB+/FM/Bluetooth.
3. SELECT:
• Press SELECT to choose menu option.
• Bluetooth mode: Long press to enter pairing mode. Short press to
play/pause.

4. PRESET
• DAB+/FM mode: Short press to enter preset list.
• DAB+/FM mode: Long press PRESET to store station as preset.
5. SETUP:
• Short press to go to Setup Menu to adjust RADIO/AUDIO/TIME settings,
check the version of software, or to factory reset system.
6. RIGHT (tune+)
• DAB+: Next radio station
• FM tune: Long press to search next available FM radio stations
• Bluetooth mode: Go to next track
• Navigate through menu.
7. LEFT (tune-)
• DAB+: Previous radio station
• FM tune: Long press to search previous available FM radio stations
• Bluetooth mode: Go to previous track
• Navigate through menu.
8. Display
Note: Press SETUP to go back one step in the Setup Menu.

DAB FUNCTION
Press SOURCE to switch to DAB mode.
Full automatic scan
Whenusedforthersttimeafterpurchase,autoscanningisinitiated
automaticallyandallstationswillbestoredbyaTUNE.Afternishedscan
aTUNEwillplaytherststationfromthestationlist.Press / to switch
between stations and press SELECT to choose.
Manual tune
1. Press SETUP to enter the DAB Menu, and use / to go to ‘Manual
tune’. Press SELECT to display DAB frequency.
2. Short press / to adjust frequency between 5A to 13F, then press
SELECTtoconrm.Thedisplaywillshowthestrengthoftheavailable
DAB signal. Press SELECT to store and play the station tuned in to.
3. Repeat above operation to search more stations manually.

FM FUNCTION
Press SOURCE to go to FM mode. FM frequency will show on the display.
Auto tuning
Press and hold / tondtheprevious/nextavailablestation.
Manual tuning
Press / tone-tunefrequency(signalquality).
USING BLUETOOTH
You can connect your device via Bluetooth to stream audio to aTUNE.
Note:Pleaserefertoyourdevicemanualforspecicinstructionsonhowto
connect with Bluetooth.
1. Press SOURCE to switch to Bluetooth mode.
ThedisplaywillshowBluetoothandaashing -icon, to show that aTUNE
is now in pairing mode.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device, and search for available
Bluetooth devices.

3. Select aTUNE from the Bluetooth search result list on your device.
4. aTUNE will prompt a sound when paired with your device.
Note: All sound from your device will now play back on aTUNE.
5. Press SELECT on aTUNE to Play/Pause music playback.
6. Press / to change track.
Manual Bluetooth pairing mode
Press and hold SELECT for 2 seconds to put aTUNE into pairing mode. You
can now pair to another device.
Note: aTUNE will always try to reconnect to last paired device automatically.
ALARM CLOCK FUNCTION
SET ALARM
1. Press SETUP to enter the menu and SELECT ‘System’.
2. Press / and SELECT ‘Alarm’
3. SELECT ‘Alarm 1 Setup’ or ’Alarm 2 Setup’.
4. Press / toadjustAlarmclocktime.PressSELECTtoconrm.
5. Press / to choose alarm duration 1/05/10/15/20 minutes. Press
SELECTtoconrm.
6. Press / to select source BUZZER/DAB/FM. Press SELECT to
conrm.
7. Press / to choose Daily/Once/Weekends/Weekdays. Press SELECT
toconrm.
Note:
If you choose to run the alarm ‘Once’ you will have to enter the date for

the alarm. You do that by pressing / to adjust the date and pressing
SELECTtoconrm.
8. Press / toadjustthealarmvolume.PressSELECTtoconrm.
9. Press / toturnthealarmon/o.PresSELECTtoconrmandsave
the alarm settings.
Note:
Gothroughthesetupprocesstoturnthealarmon/oatthelaststep(9).
When an alarm is active the display will show a small -icon.
It will show two Bells if both alarms are active.
SET MORE ALARMS
Repeat step 1-9 to setup Alarm 2.
Note:
If you choose the same alarm clock time for ‘Alarm 1’ and ‘Alarm 2’, only
‘Alarm 2’ will sound.
TURN OFF ALARM
Pressthevolumeknobtoturnothealarmwhenitisringing.

PRESET
Store DAB+/FM stations
1. Tune in to a station you like.
2. Press and hold PRESET for 2 seconds
3. Store your preset on a number between P1-P30.
4. PressSELECTtoconrm.
Note:
Total DAB+ stations: 30
Total FM stations: 30
Play stored preset stations
1. Press PRESET to enter preset station list.
2. Press / to switch between stations.
3. Press SELECT to choose station.
Note:
Display will show ‘##: (Empty)’ if no radio station is stored.
SETUP
DAB+ mode:
1. Press SETUP to enter the menu.
2. Press / to switch between ‘Full scan/Manual Tune/Prune/System’.
3. Press SELECT to continue.
Full scan: Press SELECT to start full range search.
Manual tune: Press SELECT to start full range search.

Prune: Press SELECT to prune NO/YES.
System: SELECT to enter SYSTEM SETTINGS.
FM mode:
1. Press SETUP to enter the menu.
2. Press / to switch between ‘Full scan/Scan setting/Audio setting/
System’.
3. Press SELECT to continue.
Full scan: Press SELECT to start full range search.
Scan settings: Press / to choose ‘All stations/Strong stations’ only.
PressSELECTtoconrm
Audio setting: Press / to select ‘Stereo Allowed/Forced Mono’.
System: SELECT to enter SYSTEM SETTINGS.
Bluetooth mode:
1. Press SETUP to enter the menu.
System: SELECT to enter SYSTEM SETTINGS.

1. Press / to choose between options:
‘Time/Backlight/Language/Factory Reset/SW version/Sleep time/Alarm 1
Set up/Alarm 2 Set up’.
2. Press SELECT to continue.
Sleep
1. Press / tosetautooduration.
2. Chooseeither:‘Sleepo/15/30/45/60/90minutes’.

Time
Auto synchronizes time with DAB+ or FM RDS. The unit will synchronize
time when receiving DAB+ or FM RDS signal.
Set 12/24 hour
1. Go to ‘Time’ menu
2. SELECT ‘Set 12/24 hour’
3. Press / tochoose12or24.SELECTtoconrm.
Set Date format
1. Go to ‘Time’ menu
2. Choose ‘Set date format’. SELECT to enter.
3. Press / to choose: MM-DD-YYYY/DD-MM-YYYY

Set time/date manually
1. Go to ‘Time’ menu
2. Then choose ‘Set Time/Date’.
3. Press / toadjustHH-MM-DD-YYandSELECTtoconrm.
 4. PressSELECTagaintoconrmaftertimesettingnished, 
screen will display ‘Time Saved’.
Setting Auto Update Time
1. Go to ‘Time’ menu
2. SELECT ‘Auto update’
3. Press / to choose following modes
Update from any: Synchronize with DAB or FM RDS.
Update from DAB: Synchronize with DAB only.
Update from FM: Synchronize with FM only.
No Update: No synchronize
 4. PressSELECTtoconrm.
Backlight
1. Go to ‘System’ menu
2. Set Backlight time-out duration and ‘dim level’:
• Seconds: 10/20/30/45/60/90/120/180/ON
• Dim level: High/Medium/Low

Factory reset
Returntofactoryoriginalsettings.PressSELECTtoconrm.
Hardware reset
Return to factory original settings.

Note:
All personalized settings will be deleted.
SW version
Check software version of the unit.
Press SETUP to go back one step.

OTHER SETTINGS
Volume control
1. Adjust volume by turning the volume knob.
2. Bluetooth mode: Adjust volume on your device and aTUNE.
Signal strength adjustment
DAB+/FM mode: Best signal is achieved in an open space with a fully
extended antenna.
FM mode: Switch from Stereo to Mono for better signal quality.
Note:
Placing the radio close to computers, microwaves, radiators, etc. may
interfere the signal.
