PLEASE READ BEFORE RIDING YOUR NEW BOARD!
KRUZIN’S All Terrain Boards are designed to be ridden on hard surfaces, gravel roads, short
grass fields all of which must be dry. The All Terrain Boards are not to be ridden in the sand or
on the beach.
KRUZIN’S Street Boards are to be used on even bitumen and concrete surfaces only, which are
free of loose gravel and potholes.
These boards are not designed to be jumped or getting air of any sort.
Safety
KRUZIN Boards Australia recommend that the appropriate safety equipment be worn at all
times when operating a KRUZIN Electric Skateboard. This includes an approved helmet (which
is fastened up), knee and elbow pads and enclosed shoes.
Riding of an Electric Skateboard may be governed by your local authorities, check to ensure
you adherer with these rules and regulations. Always ride in a polite way respecting
pedestrians.

Setting up your KRUZIN Electric Skateboard
When you open the box of your new pride and joy, KRUZIN Electric Skateboard we’d like you to
check it for damage, which may have occurred during transportation. If the board is damaged
please take some photographs of the damage and contact KRUZIN Boards Australia so we can
rectify the problem.

Step 1: Charging your battery
Remove the battery charger from the box and remove the battery from the skateboard (150w
batteries are not removable). You need to make sure the battery receives a full charge prior to
taking it for its first spin!! Plug the charging jack into the charging port of the battery.

RED Light – Battery is charging
GREEN Light – Battery is fully charged
Lithium-Polymer Batteries (LiFePo4) 3-5 hrs for a full charge
Sealed Lead Acid Batteries (SLA) 6-8 hrs for a full charge
Step 2: Pistol Grip Controller
150w – 400w Boards
Have a 3-speed restrictor, day and night mode. Locate the pistol grip controller and remove the
battery cover in the base of the controller.
Inside you will notice a small switch, which is the speed restrictor.
Front - Slow
Middle - Medium
Back – Fast
On the top of the controller you will see the on/off, day and night mode switch.
Forward – Night
Middle – Off
Back - Day
600w – 1500w Boards
Have a 2-speed restrictor, forward and reverse. Locate the pistol grip controller and remove the
battery cover in the base of the controller.
Inside you will notice a small switch, which is the speed restrictor.
Front - Fast
Back - Medium
On the top of the controller you will see the On/Off, forward and reverse mode switch.
Forward – Forward
Middle – Off
Back - Reverse
Step 3: Pistol Grip Controller Operation
While your Electric Skateboard battery is receiving a full charge, you should familiarise yourself
with the wireless pistol grip controller.

Trigger
This is where you control your board’s speed and engage the boards breaking system.
Accelerate - Pull the trigger toward you to accelerate.
Neutral – Release the trigger and it will return to the middle, this is the neutral position.
Breaking - Push the trigger away from you to engage the boards breaking system.
When you switch the controller on, if you hear:
•1 beep, this is normal operation.
•8 beeps mean the battery is low on power and is about to automatically shut off.
•During riding your board if you hear 1 beep every 10 seconds, the remote battery is low
on power and will automatically shut off in several minutes.
Step 4: Pneumatic Tyres on All-Terrain Skateboards
Now is the time to check the tyre pressure on your Longboard or Beast.
Longboard - 34-36psi for hard surfaces.
- 28 – 30psi on grass or loose surfaces like gravel.
Beast - 32 - 34psi for hard surfaces.
- 25 – 28psi on grass or loose surfaces like gravel.
Maintaining these tyre pressures will ensure you acquire the greatest performance out of your
board and your battery.

Operating your KRUZIN Electric Skateboard
Step 1: Set the speed controller
Firstly set the speed controller to the required setting while the controller is switched in the off
position. Make sure you keep your board at a setting you are comfortable with and are ready to
progress.
If you are letting somebody else ride your Electric Skateboard it is up to you to set it to the level
YOU feel they need to start on. YES this means even if Dad says, “Put it on fast Son, I’ve got
this!!”
Step 2: Switch the board on
On the side of your Skateboard there is an On/Off switch, press this to turn the board on and off.
The Skateboard automatically shuts off after 10 minutes if it has been left on without use.
Step 3: Switch the pistol grip controller on
Switch the controller on and you will hear a beep, when the beep stops the controller and board
have established a connection. Controller automatically shuts off after 5 minutes if it has been
left on without use.
Riding your KRUZIN Electric Skateboard
Now that you have established a connection between your board and controller, it is time to
slowly get a feel for the controllers trigger operation. Remember learning to ride your Electric
Skateboard is not a race, there’s plenty of time for that!!!
Remember the start up procedure.
1. Turn the Skateboard on.
2. Turn the pistol grip controller on.
3. Wait a short moment to establish a connection.
Once the boards receiver has established a connection the wireless pistol grip controller, the
controller regulates the boards acceleration and breaking system. Slowly squeezing the trigger
towards you will gradually accelerate the Skateboard. Gradually pushing the trigger away from
you will engage the braking system of the Skateboard.
600w – 1500w Boards
Make sure that the switch on the top of the controller is in the forward position the first time you
accelerate!!

KRUZIN WARRANTY
KRUZIN Boards Australia Electric Skateboard warranty covers use of the board only under
circumstances stated in the product manual. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser
of the board for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. (SLA Batteries 6months)

The KRUZIN Boards Australia Warranty does not cover any vulnerable components of the
board such as, wheels, tyres, tubes, drive belts, grip tape or the painted decks. The warranty
does not cover misuse or mistreatment of the board, accident damage or if you’ve taken your
board for a swim! If you misplace your board or somebody decides to take your board from you,
this is also not covered in your boards warranty.
Removing the deck from your skateboard will void your warranty. The Skateboards battery box
mounts, trucks, and micro-controller nuts have all been tightened with permatex thread locker
and should not require tightening during your boards routine maintenance.

KRUZIN Boards Australia will make contact with you to address the problem. If it is determined
that replacement parts are required, these parts will be sent out to you at no cost.
If you have accidentally damaged your board and you’re aware it’s not covered under warranty,
or you are not the original purchaser of the board, feel free to contact us at the above email
address and we will endeavour to assist with getting your board back on the road. These parts
will be sent out to you at your cost.
