1.1 General
This supplementary operating manual supplements the installation/operating
manual. All information given in the installation/operating manual must be
observed.

2. Carefully remove the cable gland and cable assembly from the bearing housing.

3. Separate the socket contact part from the cable gland using a flat bar (0.5mm).

4. Variant with flat contacts: Disconnect and pull the blade contacts out of the
relevant slots with tool G250.

5. Variant with round contacts: Disconnect and pull the round contacts out of the
relevant slots with tools R805 or R785.

6. Lightly heat up the heat shrink tubes with the hot air gun.

7. Carefully cut open the heat shrink tubes with the hook blade cutter.

8. Undo the three hexagon nuts of the three adapters. Remove the adapters.
9. Undo the hexagon nut of the star point wiring to undo the star point wiring.

10. Perform wiring in accordance with the wiring diagram
(ðSection1.7.2,Page39) .

11. Pull on three heat shrink tubes. Shrink them on with the hot air gun.

12. Pull on three further heat shrink tubes. Shrink them on with the hot air gun.

13. Carefully guide the cable assembly into the bearing housing.
14. Check the O-ring of the cable gland for any damage. If necessary, replace it by a
new O-ring from the conversion kit. Never use O-rings that have been made by
cutting an O-ring cord to size and gluing the ends together.
15. Assemble the cable gland with the motor-end socket contact part.

NOTE
Before reassembling the cable gland, check that all joints relevant to explosion
protection (flamepaths) are undamaged. Any components with damaged
flamepaths must be replaced. Observe the flamepath positions specified in the
Annex.
16. Insert the cable gland into the bearing housing.

17. Fasten the clamping element with a torque wrench (tightening torque35Nm).
