Montage
- Motorrad aufbocken.
- Das Vorderrad ausbauen (siehe Bedienungsanleitung).
- Das rechte Gabelbein (in Fahrtrichtung gesehen) und den Gabelschutz
(2) demontieren.
- Den Einrastring (1) auf das Gabelbein aufstecken, bis ganz nach unten
schieben und anschrauben. Der Einrastbereich muss nach vorne zei-
gen.

X- Montage des Einrastbuttons auf den Gabelschutz.
- Als Mittelwert von der oberen Kante Maß „X“ aus Tabelle nach unten
messen und ein Loch mit Durchmesser 13,5 mm bohren. Für die
seitliche Ausrichtung misst man 18 mm von der Schattenkante an
der Vorderseite nach links.
- Den Einrastbutton von außen in der Bohrung positionieren und die
vier kleineren Bohrungen mit einem Stift markieren (A).
- Markierungen auf 5 mm aufbohren.
- Die 5 mm Bohrungen von der Innenseite mit einem 10 mm Bohrer
mit der Hand (3) oder einem Kegelsenker ansenken und zwar so
weit, dass der Kopf der M5x5 Senkkopfschrauben ungefähr plan
mit dem Gabelschutz ist.
- Den Einrastbutton am Gabelschutz positionieren und die M5x5
Senkkopfschrauben mit Loctite 243 sichern und von innen mit 3,5
Nm festziehen.

- Montage der Verstärkungsbleche
- Die beiden Verstärkungsbleche wie dargestellt außen am Gabelschutz
positionieren und die Bohrungen mit einem Stift markieren.

Bedienung
Sitzend auf dem Motorrad über den Lenker beugen, an die Felge greifen
und die Gabel einfedern, den Einrastbutton (6) drücken und langsam aus-
federn, bis der Einrastbutton im Einrastring fixiert ist. Danach den
Einrastbutton loslassen. Beim erstmaligen Einfedern im Fahrbetrieb löst
sich der Einrastbutton automatisch vom Einrastring.
Vor jeder Benutzung den Einrastknopf auf Lei htgängigkeit prüfen.
Bei Temperaturen unter 0°C besteht Festfriergefahr.
- Das Vorderrad wieder einbauen (siehe Bedienungsanleitung).
- Den Einrastring noch einmal lockern. Der Einrastbutton auf dem
Gabelaschutz muss mit dem Einrastbereich des Einrastringes in einer
Linie sein. Anschließend den Einrastring mit Loctite 243 und 1,2 Nm
wieder festschrauben.
- Markierungen auf 5 mm aufbohren.
- Die 5 mm Bohrungen von der Innenseite mit einem 10 mm Bohrer
mit der Hand oder einem Kegelsenker ansenken und zwar so weit,
dass der Kopf der M5x10 Senkkopfschrauben ungefähr plan mit
dem Gabelschutz ist.
- Die M5x10 Senkkopfschrauben (4) mit Loctite 243 sichern und von
innen mit 3,5 Nm festziehen.
- Den Gabelschutz mit den Buchsen und den M6x15 Bundschrauben
(5) mit einem Drehmoment von 10 Nm montieren.
- Das Gabelbein wieder einbauen (siehe Bedienungsanleitung).

Assembly
- Jack up the motorcycle.
- Remove the front wheel (see the Owner’s Manual).
- Remove the right fork leg (in the direction of travel) and the fork pro-
tector (2).
- lace the snap ring (1) onto the fork leg, slide it all the way down and
screw it on. The snap area must face forward.
- Mounting the snap button on the fork protector
- Measure a length "X", see table, down from the upper edge and
drill a 13.5 mm hole that is centered on that position. For the late-
ral positioning, measure 18 mm to the left from the shadow edge
on the front.
- osition the snap button into the hole from the outside and mark
the four smaller drill holes with a marker (A).
- Drill 5 mm holes at the marks.
- Countersink the 5 mm holes from the inside either manually using
a 10 mm drill bit (3) or using a countersink to the point where the
heads of the M5x5 countersunk screws are roughly level with the
fork protector.
- osition the snap button on the fork protector, secure the M5x5
countersunk screws with Loctite 243, and tighten them with 3.5
Nm from the inside.

Operation
While sitting on the motorcycle, bend over the handlebars, grasp the rim,

- Reinstall the front wheel (see the Owner’s Manual).
- Loosen the snap ring again. The snap button on the fork protector must
be aligned with the snap area of the snap ring. Then tighten the snap
ring again with Loctite 243 and 1.2 Nm.

Montaggio
- orre la motocicletta sul cavalletto alzamoto.
- Smontare la ruota anteriore (vedere il manuale d’uso).
- Smontare lo stelo destro della forcella (visto in direzione di marcia) e
il copristelo (2).
- Spingere fino in fondo sullo stelo della forcella l’anello con mecca-
nismo a scatto (1) e avvitarlo. Il meccanismo a scatto deve essere rivolto
in avanti.
- Montaggio del bottone a scatto sul copristelo.
- Come valore medio, dal bordo superiore misurare verso il basso la
misura "X" indicata nella tabella ed eseguire un foro di diametro
di 13,5 mm. er l’allineamento laterale misurare 18 mm verso sinistra
dallo spigolo centrale sul lato anteriore.
- Dall’esterno, posizionare il bottone a scatto nel foro e con una penna
contrassegnare i quattro fori più piccoli (A).
- In corrispondenza dei contrassegni praticare dei fori da 5 mm.
- Dal lato interno, a mano, con una punta da trapano da 10 mm (3)
o con una fresa per svasare, allargare i fori da 5 mm fino a quando
la testa delle viti a testa svasata M5x5 non risulta approssimati-
vamente in piano con il copristelo.
- osizionare il bottone a scatto sul copristelo e assicurare le viti a
testa svasata M5x5 con della Loctite 243 quindi, dall’interno, ser-
rare con una coppia di 3,5 Nm.

- Come mostrato nella figura, posizionare i due lamierini di rinforzo
sul lato esterno del copristelo e con una penna contrassegnare i
fori.

Uso
Stando seduti sulla motocicletta, sporgersi in avanti oltre il manubrio, affer-
rare il cerchio e comprimere la forcella, premere il bottone a scatto (6) e
lentamente estendere la forcella fin quando il bottone non si innesta
nell’anello. Dopodiché rilasciare il bottone a scatto. In marcia, alla prima
compressione della forcella il bottone a scatto si sgancerà automaticamente
dall’anello.
Prima di ogni utilizzo verifi are la s orrevolezza del bottone a s atto.
A temperature inferiori a 0° vi è il ris hio he si blo hi per il gelo.

- Rimontare la ruota anteriore (vedere il manuale d’uso).
- Allentare ancora una volta l’anello con meccanismo a scatto. Il bot-
tone a scatto sul copristelo deve essere allineato al meccanismo a scatto
dell’anello. Al termine applicare una coppia di serraggio di 1,2 Nm e
fissare nuovamente l’anello con della Loctite 243.
- In corrispondenza dei contrassegni praticare dei fori da 5 mm.
- Dal lato interno, a mano con una punta da trapano da 10 mm o
con una fresa per svasare, allargare i fori da 5 mm fino a quando
la testa delle viti a testa svasata M5x10 non risulta approssimati-
vamente in piano con il copristelo.
- Assicurare le viti a testa svasata M5x10 (4) con della Loctite 243 e
serrare dall’interno applicando una coppia di 3,5 Nm.
- Montare il copristelo con le bussole e le viti flangiate M6x15 (5) appli-
cando una coppia di serraggio di 10 Nm.
- Rimontare lo stelo della forcella (vedere il manuale d’uso).

Montage
- Béquiller la moto.
- Déposer la roue avant (voir le manuel d’utilisation).
- Déposer le bras de fourche droit (vu dans le sens de la marche) et la
protection de fourche (2).
- Enfiler la bague d’encliquètement (1) sur le bras de fourche, la faire
glisser jusqu’en bas et la visser. La zone d’encliquètement doit être
dirigée vers l’avant.

- Montage du bouton d’encliquètement sur la protection de fourche.
- À l’aide du tableau, mesurer vers le bas la valeur moyenne « X »à
partir de l’arête supérieure et percer un trou de 13,5 mm de dia-
mètre. our déterminer la position latérale, mesurer 18 mm vers
la gauche à partir de l’arête marquant le sommet du cache, à l’avant.
- Depuis l’extérieur, positionner le bouton d’encliquètement dans l’alé-
sage et marquer l’emplacement des quatre petits alésages avec un
feutre (A).
- Aléser les repères sur une profondeur de 5 mm.
- Utiliser un foret de 10 mm ou une fraise pour percer à la main les
alésages de 5 mm depuis l’intérieur (3) , et ce, de manière à ce
que la tête des vis fraisées M5x5 soit à peu près alignée sur la pro-
tection de fourche.
- lacer le bouton d’encliquètement sur la protection de fourche et
bloquer les vis fraisées M5x5 avec du Loctite 243 puis les serrer
de l’intérieur à 3,5 Nm.

- Montage des tôles de renfort
- Mettre en place les deux tôles de renfort comme illustré, à l’exté-
rieur sur la protection de fourche et marquer les alésages avec un
feutre.

Utilisation
S’asseoir sur la moto et se pencher par-dessus le guidon, toucher la jante
et enfoncer la fourche, puis enfoncer le bouton d’encliquètement (6) et
détendre lentement la fourche jusqu’à ce que le bouton d’encliquètement
soit fixé dans la bague d’encliquètement. Relâcher ensuite le bouton d’en-
cliquètement. Lors du premier enfoncement en marche, le bouton d’en-
cliquètement se désolidarise automatiquement de la bague d’encliquète-
ment.
Avant haque utilisation, vérifier la souplesse du bouton d’en liquètement.
Risque de blo age dû au gel en as de températures inférieures à 0°.

- Remonter la roue avant (voir le manuel d’utilisation).
- Desserrer encore une fois la bague d’encliquètement. Le bouton d’en-
cliquètement vissé sur la protection de fourche doit se trouver dans le
prolongement de la zone d’encliquètement de la bague. our finir, fixer
la bague d’encliquètement avec de la Loctite 243 et un couple de ser-
rage de 1,2 Nm.
- Aléser les repères sur une profondeur de 5 mm.
- Utiliser un foret de 10 mm ou une fraise pour percer à la main les
alésages de 5 mm depuis l’intérieur, et ce, de manière à ce que
la tête des vis fraisées M5x10 soit à peu près alignée sur la pro-
tection de fourche.
- Enduire les vis fraisées M5x10 (4) de Loctite 243 et serrer de l’inté-
rieur à 3,5 Nm.
- Monter la protection de fourche avec les bagues et les vis à épaule-
ment M6x15 (5) en serrant à 10 Nm.
- Remonter le bras de fourche (voir le manuel d’utilisation).

Montaje
- Levantar la motocicleta sobre tacos.
- Desmontar la rueda delantera (véase el manual de instrucciones).
- Desmontar la botella de la horquilla derecha (vista en el sentido de
avance del vehículo) y el protector de la horquilla (2).
- Colocar el anillo de encaje (1) en la botella de la horquilla, deslizarlo
completamente hacia abajo y enroscarlo. La zona de encaje debe mirar
hacia delante.
- Montaje del botón de encaje en el protector de la horquilla.
- Como valor medio desde el borde superior, medir hacia abajo la
cota "X" según la tabla y taladrar un orificio de 13,5 mm de diá-
metro. ara la alineación lateral, medir 18 mm desde el borde a
la sombra en la parte delantera hacia la izquierda.
- Colocar el botón de encaje en el orificio desde fuera y marcar los
cuatro orificios pequeños con un lápiz (A).
- Taladrar las marcas a 5 mm.
- Desde delante, avellanar los orificios de 5 mm a mano con una
broca de 10 mm (3) o con un avellanador cónico hasta que la cabeza
de los tornillos de cabeza avellanada M5x5 quede aproximadamente
plana con el protector de la horquilla.
- Colocar el botón de encaje en el protector de la horquilla, asegu-
rar los tornillos de cabeza avellanda M5x5 con Loctite 243 y apre-
tarlos a 3,5 Nm desde dentro.

- Montaje de las chapas de refuerzo
- Colocar las dos chapas de refuerzo en la parte exterior del protector

Manejo
Sentado en la motocicleta, inclinarse sobre el manillar, llevar la mano hasta
la llanta y comprimir la horquilla, presionar el botón de encaje (6) y des-
comprimir lentamente hasta que el botón de encaje quede fijado en el
anillo de encaje. Acto seguido, soltar el botón de encaje. Al realizar la pri-
mera compresión en marcha, el botón de encaje se suelta automática-
mente del anillo de encaje.
Antes de ada uso, omprobar que el botón de en aje fun ione on sua-
vidad.
Con temperaturas por debajo de 0 °C, existe peligro de atas o por on-
gela ión.

- Volver a montar la rueda delantera (véase el manual de instrucciones).
- Volver a aflojar el anillo de encaje. El botón de encaje situado en el
protector de la horquilla debe estar en línea con la zona de encaje del
anillo de encaje. Acto seguido, volver a atornillar firmemente el anillo
de encaje a 1,2 Nm y asegurarlo con Loctite 243.
- Taladrar las marcas a 5 mm.
- Desde delante, avellanar los orificios de 5 mm a mano con una
broca de 10 mm o con un avellanador cónico hasta que la cabeza
de los tornillos de cabeza avellanada M5x10 quede aproximada-
mente plana con el protector de la horquilla.
- Asegurar los tornillos de cabeza avellanada M5x10 (4) con Loctite 243
y apretarlos a 3,5 Nm desde dentro.
- Montar el protector de la horquilla con los casquillos y los tornillos de
collarín M6x15 (5) a un par de 10 Nm.
- Volver a montar la botella de la horquilla (véase el manual de instruc-
ciones).
