Lyncom’s microprocessor based charge controllers incorporate state-of-the-art design and
advanced pulse-width-modulation (PWM) battery charging operation, offeringthe highest
quality and more features than comparably priced PV controllers.
ModelPV12T isan advanced PVlightingsystem
controller for 12 volt solar systems rated 12
amps or less, designed for applications such
as sign lights, security or flood lights,
campground & recreation facilities,
remote homes and marinas.
Fieldproven PWM design for batterycharging,
reduces water loss, extends battery life, and
allows more daily amp-hours into the battery
as compared to traditional “on-off” controllers.
Model PV12T features an automatic load timer,
which senses dusk by the solar array and initiates thelighting time period, which is field
adjustable. When the timer circuit is ‘0’ (defeated), PV12T can also be used as a continuous
load controller with LVD.
The Model PV12T lighting timer operation can be pre-set from 0 to 10 hours continuously
adjustable or from dusk to dawn. A low battery voltage load disconnect circuit (LVD)
prevents battery over-discharge during extended overcast periods.
The PV12T has three system status LED’s: system charging, battery full and battery low.
The reverse polarity protection circuit features a reverse polarity red LED for PV or battery,
ensuring proper hook up.
