Interface. Use it to store large amounts of pre-press files,

This powerful drive is optimized for media professionals
working with high-definition audio, digital video editing,
SD video and 2D/3D imaging. Its capacity combined with
never-before-seen transfer rates make it ideal for data-
hungry applications or sharing and archiving large-scale
video projects. Chain FireWire peripherals or iLink DV
cameras with the drive for maximum performance.

This hot plug & play drive achieves RAID 0 performance
with no configuration. More compact and lightweight
than RAID towers, it can be placed in a spacesaving
upright position, be stacked, rack-mounted and even
daisy-chained with other drives (with FireWire) to increase
its power. With the “super combo” triple interface solution,
this versatile drive allows for true and easy cross-platform

Drive Heat Management
This d2 drive’s aluminum body draws heat away from the
internal disk toward the external casing, which absorbs
and dissipates heat, keeping it safe and prolonging its life
and reliability. Because of this unique feature, this drive
comes fan-free in the 500GB capacity, and offers a “smart
fan” for the 640GB and 1TB capacities, which is ultra-quiet
and has speeds that automatically vary depending upon
