LS686 line laser could separa ely or simul aneously projec self-leveling visible horizon al laser line and ver ical line. I
provide he accura e horizon al, ver ical references for indoor layou and calibra ion. This kind of produc is fea ured by
easy manipula ion and wide applica ions.

4.1 Mount the alkaline batteries：
a) Moun 3 AA alkaline ba eries in o he ba ery box according o he polari y indica ion shown in he ba ery box.The
pu he ba ery box back o he ins rumen .
b) Moun he rechargeable ba ery box direc ly o he ins rumen .
4.2 Charging the rechargeable battery
Plug he charger in o he charging hole o charge he rechargeable ba ery box.When charging, he indica ion ligh is red,
and when finished charging, he indica ion ligh urns from red o green.
ou can also use power bank（portable power）to charge the rechargeable battery box.

4.3 Using the adapter

and wi h he buzzer sound, which shows he ins rumen is ou of self-leveling range, please adjus he round vial in

4.9 ON/OFF(Main unit)
Locking is unlocked, he ins rumen is on, and he power indica ion ligh is on.
Locking is locked, he ins rumen is off, and he power indica ion ligh is off.
When he ins rumen is on, if he laser flash wi h he buzzer sound, which shows he ins rumen is ou of range, please
place he ins rumen o level again.
4.10 Receiving mode button

4.12 Tilt mode button
The tilt mode button hides inside the battery box slot(see the following picture).
When he ins rumen is in locking s a us, push up his swi ch o en er he il mode,moun he ba ery box, he power
LED illumina ion is ligh ed, and il mode indica ion LED is flashing.
When he ins rumen is in slope mode s a us, he usage of laser ou pu con rolling bu on and receiving mode bu on is
he same as he above descrip ion.
Note：
▲ Til mode func ion is jus sui able for using in he circums ance wi h no need of horizon al or ver ical reference.
▲ The ins rumen canno en er in o il mode in unlocking s a us, il mode bu on is ineffec ive. If he ins rumen using in
il mode, unlock i , he ins rumen will exi from il mode, he il mode LED is ex inguished and he ins rumen en ers
in o self-leveling s a us.
▲ If il mode is no needed, please swi ch he il mode swi ch o OFF.
5.Self-check and calibration
5.1 horizontal line accuracy self-check (transversely)
a) Find a fla wall, place he ins rumen 5m away from he wall, and level he bubble.
b) Fi he ins rumen on he eleva ing or ripod and face o he wall.
c) Open all laser lines; here will be cross laser line on he wall, se he cen er of cross line as A do .
d) Mark A and M on he horizon al line separa ely ( he dis ance of A and M is abou 2.5m).
e) Turn he ins rumen , le he cen er of he cross line poin B 5ms away from poin A

f) Measure he dis ance be ween poin M o he laser line.
g) If e>1mm, he ins rumen accuracy is ou of olerance, service is needed.
5.2 Self-check the horizontal accuracy (longitudinal)
a) As shown in he following figure, s and up wo s aff which is 5m away (or find a wall which bo h sides are parallel
and he dis ance is more han 5m).
b) Fi he ins rumen on he eleva ing or ripod, and place i in he cen er of bo h s aff, level he bubble.
c) Turn on all he laser lines o make he laser cen er do on s aff A, record a1 do value.
d) Ro a e he ins rumen by 180 degree, make he cross do on he s aff B, record b1 do value.
e) Move he ripod, make he ins rumen 0.6m away from s aff A, and make he cross cen er on s aff A, record a2
value.
f) Ro a e he ins rumen by 180 degree; make he crossing do on s aff B, record b2 do value.

5.3 Self-calibration & adjustment
As shown in he following pic ure, he ins rumen have wo calibra ion aper ures, A means he lef and righ adjus men
ransversely ( he error es ed by i em1), B means he fron and back adjus men longi udinal ( he error es ed by i em2).
(1) Adjus wi h 3mm hexagon spanner.
(2) (2)The adjus men of wo direc ions will influence each o her some imes. When making he fine adjus ing in lef and
righ direc ion ransversely, he fron and back direc ion longi udinal will change possibly, also, when adjus ing in fron
and back longi udinal, he lef and righ direc ion ransversely will change possibly.
(3) The adjus men of self-calibra ion screw could no exceed 4 circles. (Clockwise or an i-clockwise direc ion).
(4) If he ins rumen could no adjus hrough self-calibra ion aper ure, please con ac he dis ribu or for servicing.
