you are now holding: a3-stage knifesharpenermadefromsoftenedABSplastics withananti-slipbase.Sharpeningdiscs:diamond
stoneforblade repairs and straighteningbeforesharpening, stainless tungstendiscsharpenstheedge and restoresthe„Vshape“to the
blade and the ceramicstone hones the blade andsmooths out all surfaceirregularities.Maintenanceandcleaningusinga moistenedcloth.
Itisnotpossibleto replacethe sharpeningdiscs.
Important safety instructions:
Alwaysfollowthesemeasuresto minimise the riskof injuryordamageto products:
1) Read all instructionspriorto using theknifesharpenerandstore thisuser‘smanual inasafeplaceforfuturereference.
2) Theproductisnotintended to beusedby children orpersonswith limitedphysical,sensory or mentalabilities. Pleasekeep the
sharpener out ofchildren‘sreach.
3) Donotattempt to sharpenbrandnewknives.
4) Thesharpeneris not suitableforsharpeningceramicknives,serratedor verysensitive Japanesekniveswith steelblades.
5) Never useforce to pullthe knifethrough the sharpener.
Instructions for use:
1. Placethe knifesharpeneron armtableandholdit rmly bythehandle whensharpening.Pullthe knifethroughwith anappropriate
and evenpressurethrough eachslitseveraltimes.(e.g.5 times)
2. Theindividual sharpeningdiscshave the followingfunctions:
a) Diamond stonesurface: for repairing damagededgesandstraighteningthembefore sharpening
b) Stainlesstungstendisc:forsharpening bladesandrestoring the„Vshape“ ofthe edge
c) Ceramicstone:for honingtheedgeand smoothingout all surfaceirregularitiesthat mayhave beencausedby the sharpening
procedure.
3. Sharpeningprocedure:
a) Onlysharpencleananddryknife blades.Place the knifeblade,whilst holding the knifehandle,against the rstsharpeningstone
2aand gentlypulltheknifetowardsyourself. Attention: Donotmovethe knifebladebackwardsandforwards–always pullit
throughin only one direction.
b) we recommendthatyourepeatthisprocedure vetimesormorefor eachsharpeningstone,depending onthe conditionof the
knifeedge.
c) Whenyou have nished sharpeningtheedge ofthe blade,cleanthe knife before using or storingit.
Safety notice:
Hightemperaturesmaydamagethe product.Theuseof sharp metal utensils may damage(scratch) the softplasticsurface.Theuse of
coarse oraggressivecleaningagentsmaydamage the surface(e.g.caustic agents). Negligenthandling maydamagetheproduct. These
„footprints“ do not have the slightest eect on the functionality of the product or on its overall lifetime, they only aect
its aesthetic appearance.

Dependingon the sizeof the product,all productshavemarksprintedon themdenotingthematerial used forthe productionofthe
packaging, componentsand accessories,aswell astheir recycling.Correctdisposalofthis producthelpssavevaluable naturalresourcesand
preventsdamageto the environmentcausedbyimproperwastedisposal. Askyour local authoritiesorcollection facilityfor moredetails.In
accordancewith national regulationspenalties maybeimposedfortheincorrectdisposal ofthistypeofwaste. Keep plastic bags out of
