Kiosk placement
Do not place the device directly :
- Facing the sun or in a location where the sun is directly facing the person
- In front or near an air outlet of an air conditioning or radiator device during measurement
- In front or near to strong infrared emitting light
- In a room where heating/cooling ducts are in the ceiling or directly below ceiling ducts
The above can cause changes to the forehead temperature. Measurements should be
taken in a stable environment.
Do not measure body temperature in an environment with:
- Strong electromagnetic interference (examples include places close to a working
microwave, induction appliances) as EM interference may cause errors in the reading
or even device failure.

Desktop Kiosk set-up
01. Unscrew the safety bolt
from the Kiosk
02. Thread the kiosk cables
through the desktop stand
03. Put the Kiosk into the desktop
base and line kiosk up with the light
on the desktop base
04. Re-screw the safety bolt
back on after attaching the
desktop base

05. Connect the different cables from the desktop base
into the Kiosk cables, there should be an Etherent, USB
and a Power cable to connect
06. Plug into the mains power
then turn on your Kiosk
07. Enjoy your Kiosk!

Floor stand & kiosk set-up
01. Unscrew the screws from
the bottom of the stand using
the provided allen key
03. Unscrew the safety bolt
from the Kiosk
02. Line up the stand with the
base and reattach screws
04. Unthread the kiosk cables
through the safety bolt

05. Thread the base plate
through the cables
06. Re-thread the safety bolt
over the cables and secure
onto the kiosk mount
07. Connect the different cables from the floor
stand into the Kiosk cables, there should be an
Etherent, two USB’s and a Power cable to connect

08. Using the allen key provided screw all 4
screws into the base plate and floor stand
09. Connect kiosk to mains power
and press power button
10. Enjoy your kiosk!

Adding a printer mount to a
floor stand
03. Thread the base plate that
came with the the printer mount
through the cables (not the base
plate that was on the floor stand)
02. Unthread the kiosk cables
through the safety bolt
01. Unscrew the safety bolt
from the Kiosk
04. Re-thread the safety bolt
over the cables and secure
onto the kiosk mount

05. Access the bottom of the floor stand and
thread the printer power supply up the kiosk
till it joins the other cables
06. Connect the different cables from the floor stand into
the Kiosk cables, there should be an Etherent, USB, a
Power cable and the printer USB to connect

07. Using the allen key provided screw all 4
screws into the base plate and floor stand
08. Unscrew the cable tidy slot so
you can access the holes to attach
the mount to the kiosk
09. Attach the mount to the
stand

10. Re-attch the cable tidy 11. Unscrew base plate on the
badge printer
12. Connect the badge printer to the
kiosk and power cable

13. Line up the badge printer screw
holes with holes in the printer mount
and reattach the printer for security
14. Connect kiosk to mains power and
press power button
15. Enjoy your kiosk and
badge printer!
