When babies breastfeed, they start with quick sucking to stimulate your milk to
let-down and ow. Once your milk has let-down, the baby draws the milk out with
slower, deeper sucks.
While nothing can replicate exactly how a baby feeds at the breast, to simulate
the natural rhythm, Lansinoh offers two phases of expression – the Stimulation
Phase and the Expression Phase .
Stimulation Phase (Phase 1) is a faster pumping rhythm to trigger your milk to let
down and start owing.
Expression Phase (Phase 2) has a range of adjustable pumping rhythms and suc-
tion strengths that can be customized to your preferences---a key difference in the

Important Safeguards
The Lansinoh Afnity®Pro Double Electric Breast Pump is a personal care item and
for hygienic reasons should never be shared between mothers or resold from one
mother to another. Either of these actions will void the warranty.
If you are a mother who is infected with Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C or Human Immuno-
deciency Virus (HIV), pumping breastmilk using the Lansinoh Afnity®Pro Double
Electric Breast Pump will not reduce or remove the risk of transmitting the virus to
your baby through your breastmilk.
When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be maintained, including the following:

Danger: To reduce the risk of electrocution:
● Always unplug this product immediately after using.
● Do not use while bathing.
● Do not place or store this product where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
● Do not place or drop pump into water or other liquid.
● Do not reach for an electrical product that has fallen into water.
Unplug immediately.
Warning: To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, re, or injury to persons:
● This product should never be left unattended when plugged in.
●Close supervision is necessary when this product is used near children
or invalids.
● Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not

●Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
● Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
● Never use while sleeping or drowsy.

● Do not allow small children or pets to play with the pump unit, AC adaptor, etc.
●Do not use outdoors with the AC adapter or operate where aerosol spray
products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.

Stimulation/Expression Toggle Button
• The pumping rhythm modes of the pump can be changed using the pumping rhythm Mode Toggle Button to nd the pumping rhythm that
works best for you. Pressing this button will toggle between pumping rhythm modes, as indicated in Figure 1.
If you prefer to bypass the pre-set two minute Stimulation Phase or your milk lets down sooner than two minutes press the Stimulation/Expression Toggle Button to move to the Expression Phase. The Lansinoh® Afnity® Pro Double Electric Breast Pump will start in the Stimulation Phase and will automatically change to the
Expression phase after two minutes.

Before Each Use…
●Always wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the
Breastmilk Expression Set, the pump body, or other attachments.
● Disassemble the Breastmilk Expression Set to clean. Set aside the tubing as it
does not need to be washed or sterlized.
● Ensure that the tubing is free of any liquid or moisture. Do not operate the pump
if liquid or moisture is visible in the tubing.
Cleaning Instructions
Unless otherwise instructed by your healthcare provider, follow these sanitizing and
cleaning instructions.
Sanitization
1. Prior to using the set for the rst time, disassemble and boil all parts of the
Breastmilk Expression Set (Includes b1, b2, b3, b4, b5, and b6) that come into
contact with breastmilk for 10 minutes.
●Note: Ensure you use enough water to keep parts aoat while boiling.
●Note: Do not boil the tubing and tubing connector.
2. Remove all parts from water immediately after boiling.
3. Completely air dry before assembly and next use.
●Note: Partially dried parts may affect operation of the pump.
Please ensure parts are completely dry before use.
Cleaning
● Set aside the tubing and tubing connector. These items do not need to be
washed or sanitized because the diaphragm prevents them from coming into
contact with the breastmilk.
● The breast ange (b1) and containers (b6) may be cleaned in the upper compart-
ment of your dishwasher or hand washed with dish soap in hot water. For best
results, we recommend using a baby bottle brush to clean the container and a
baby nipple brush to clean the insides of the breast ange. DO NOT use solvents
or abrasives. Rinse with hot, clean water.
● All other parts of the Breastmilk Expression Set (b2,b3,b4,b5) should be hand
washed with dish soap in hot water to prevent loss and extend their usefulness.
●To clean your breast pump, wipe the base with a damp cloth, using only water
or mild soap.
●Note: The Afnity Pro™ pump is designed as a closed system to prevent
breast milk from contacting the tubing or tubing connector.
If you see breast milk, liquid, or any debris inside the tubing
or tubing connector do not attempt to wash, clean or sterilize the
tubing or tubing connector. Instead, contact Lansinoh at 800-292-4794.
●Note: Before using the Breastmilk Expression Set, visually inspect
the individual components for cracks, chips, tears, discoloration or
deterioration, as this may affect the functionality of the Breastmilk
Expression Set. Please visit www.lansinohstore.com or
call 1-800-292-4794 for further guidance and replacement parts.
●Note: For best results, make sure the diaphragms are completely dry
before use.

Assembling the Breastmilk Expression Set
Your Breastmilk Expression Set comes preassembled in Lansinoh product packaging.
Clean Breastmilk Expression Set parts (except tubing and tubing connector) as
described in the “Cleaning Instructions” section (see page 9). Once all parts are clean
and completely dry, assemble the expression set as follows:

Pumping Tips
The most important part of successful pumping is the ability to trigger the let-down
reex. This is when your milk begins to ow freely. Warm wet compresses applied
to the breasts and gentle, circular massaging of the breasts prior to and/or during
a pumping session can help encourage this natural reex. Thinking of or looking at
your baby, or a photo of your baby if you are apart, can also be helpful.
Some moms can achieve more than one let-down during a pumping session. You
may be able to achieve a second or third let-down during your pumping session
by returning to the Stimulation phase by pressing the Stimulation/Expresion Toggle
Button .
How Long To Pump
Double pumping, compared to single pumping, will reduce the time you spend
expressing your milk. Breastmilk is produced on a supply and demand basis and
by expressing your breastmilk regularly, your body will be stimulated and you will be
able to maintain your milk supply. Just like with breastfeeding, it is not necessary to
time your pumping sessions though you will get a better sense of the time it takes
for your body to express your milk using a breast pump. If you have any breastfeed-
ing or breastpump related questions, consult with an International Board Certied
Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), breastfeeding counselor, or other healthcare provider
such as your primary physician.
Pumping and Feeding Tips
● You may pump one breast while nursing the baby on the other. This allows you
to maximize pumping effectiveness using the let-down reex stimulated by your
baby’s sucking.
● You may pump into any standard sized screw-top bottle or container.
●Should you choose to use the Lansinoh bottle with a nipple of your own, please
take the following precautions:
●
Always test the temperature of any liquid before feeding your baby.
●
Do not let a child take a bottle to bed or self-feed for long periods.
●
To prevent possible choking hazard, test strength of the nipple by pulling
on the bulb portion. Discontinue use if any tear or crack appears.
• You may also want to to try the Lansinoh® mOmma®bottle, featuring the
NaturalWave™ nipple - which is clinically proven to help babies maintain
established breastfeeding patterns - allowing your baby to go from breast
to bottle and back.
The Adjustable Difference
Your Lansinoh Afnity®Pro Double Electric Breast Pump allows you to select
suction levels and pumping rhythm mode separately to identify the settings that are
most comfortable for you. You would use the + and – symbols to adjust the suction
level and set the power of the pump while using the pumping rhythm mode to set
the pumping rhythm that is most comfortable and efcient for you .
Using the Lansinoh Afnity®Pro
Double Electric Breast Pump
1. Place purple diaphragm on top of breast ange body. Ensure lips on diaphragm
t tightly into gaps on the ange body per the illustration above. Then, place
the diaphragm cap over the purple diaphragm ensuring that the slits in the
diaphragm cap are aligned over the lips on the purple diaphragm. You will then
need to twist the diaphragm cap to the right to ensure it is snugly in place,
enclosing the purple diaphragm.
2. Push ComfortFit™ breast ange into breast ange body.
3. Gently Push white valve into the bottom of breast ange body so that is securely
attached. Your breast milk will ow through this white valve into the collection bottle.
Note: Use caution when handling and cleaning the small white valve (see page 9).
4. Screw collection container onto breast ange body.
5. Insert tubing into back of Diaphragm Cap; ensure tight t.
6. Insert tubing connector, at end of tubing, into tubing input on the pump.

3. Press and hold the On/Off Button for a few
seconds to turn the pump on. Lansinoh
Afnity® Pro Double Electric Pump will start in
the Stimulation Phase .
After two minutes, the Stimulation Phase will
automatically change to the Expression Phase
in Pumping Rhythm Mode 2.
If you prefer to bypass the pre-set two minute
Stimulation Phase or your milk lets down sooner
than two minutes press the Stimulation/
Expression Toggle Button to move to the
Expression Phase, where you can separately
select the pumping rhythm mode and suction
levels.
Note – the Pumping Rhythm Mode Indicator will
appear in the display to signify that you are in the
Expression Phase.
1. Make sure all tubes are attached to the tubing
connector
For Double Pumping
2. Hold the Breastmilk Expression Set to your
breasts so that the nipple is aligned to extend
straight toward the nipple tunnel of the breast
ange. Make sure the breast completely lls the
breast ange so that a vacuum is formed and
no air escapes. If you experience friction or
discomfort on your nipples, you may need a
different size ange. Larger size anges are
also available. For more details, please call

The Breastmilk Expression Set and nipple tunnel
must tilt slightly downward to allow milk to ow
naturally toward the bottle.
Using the Afnity®Breast Pump
The pumping rhythm modes of the pump can be
changed using the Pumping Rhythm Mode Toggle
Button . Pressing this button will toggle between
pumping rhythm modes. Every mom is different,
so we have provided three different pumping
rhythms so you can maximize your milk production
and comfort. You should try all three modes to
determine which works best for you.
Note – if at any time the suction on your breast reaches uncomfortable levels, re-
duce the suction level by pressing the (-) button on the left side of the LCD screen.
You can control suction levels in both phases by pressing the + and - buttons.
4. The LCD has a timer which helps you keep track of how long you have pumped
so you can manage your time effectively. When a pumping session is nished,
turn the pump off with the on/off button. After turning the pump off, the display
will remain on for a few seconds. Make sure there is no suction on the nipple(s)
before removing the breast anges from the breast. If necessary, break the
suction by inserting a nger between the breast ange and the breast. Once
the suction is broken, the breast ange can be removed safely.
Please note: LCD display back light will automatically switch off if no control
buttons are pressed for 20 seconds in order to save power. If the pump unit is
left switched on and unattended for more than 60 minutes, the control system
will automatically switch the power off. You have to press and hold the power-on
button in order to switch the unit back on again.
NOTE: If the suction on your breast reaches uncomfortable levels,
reduce the suction level by pushing the – Suction button, or discon-
nect the tubing connector from its receptacle on the electric pump.
For Single Pumping
Some moms prefer to pump on one side while they feed their baby on the other.
If you choose to single pump, simply remove one tube and close the tubing
connector. Make sure that
the plug is placed into the
pipe outlet properly and
pushed in securely.

When you are freezing your breastmilk, do not fill containers more than ¾ full to
allow for expansion from freezing. Date containers with the date you expressed
your milk for future reference.

Power Options
The pump may be operated under any of the following power supply modes:
AC Adapter (included)
6 AA Alkaline Batteries (not included)
Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline and standard (carbon-zinc)
batteries. If batteries are in the pump, but AC adapter is in use, the pump will use
the adapter to power the pump, not the batteries. For the most economical use, we
recommend using your pump with the AC adapter provided. Your AC adaptor is a
universal AC plug adaptor type and can be used with 100 Vac to 240 Vac systems
with 50Hz and 60Hz mains.
Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly
according to the polarity (+) and (-) as indicated.
Close the compartment by gently pressing the
cover until it snaps into place.
Remove batteries if pump is not in use for a long
period of time. Dispose of batteries according
to regulations for environmental protection and
recycling. Replace batteries as a simultaneous set.
Connect the AC adapter to the power receptacle
located on the right side of the pump. Plug the
AC adapter into an available electrical outlet.
Electrical safety can only be achieved when the
breast pump is connected to the AC Power
Adapter supplied with the product.

Breastmilk Storage Guidelines
Note: DO NOT store breastmilk in freezer door. The door tends to be
the warmest part of the freezer.
Date all breastmilk and use the oldest breastmilk first.
Thawing
Thaw frozen milk in the refrigerator or place the containers under cool running
water, gradually warming the water until the milk is thawed. Thawed milk can be
kept in a refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
NOTE: DO NOT refreeze milk once it is thawed.
Gently shake thawed milk before feeding to baby to mix the layers that have
separated. Breastmilk is not homogenized and the “cream” will rise to the top of
the bottle. Breastmilk can vary in color and consistency depending upon the time
of the day that the milk was expressed, what you have eaten, and the age of the
baby at the time of pumping.
NOTE: DO NOT MICROWAVE HUMAN MILK! Microwaving alters the
composition of the milk. Microwaving also may create “hot spots” in
the milk that could burn the infant.
NOTE: DO NOT thaw breastmilk in hot or boiling water.

Troubleshooting the Lansinoh Afnity®Pro Double Electric Breast Pump
Interruption of Electrical Service
If you experience an interruption in the normal operation of the electrical and/or
mechanical functioning of the pump, simply do the following:
n Unplug the AC adapter cord from the electrical outlet.
n Wait a few seconds, and then plug the AC adapter cord back into the electrical outlet.
If you still experience electrical failure, try using the pump with the six AA batteries
making sure the AC adapter is removed.
Discomfort While Pumping
If you feel any discomfort, you may need a different size ange.

Decreased Suction
If it feels like the suction has decreased, try the following:
n Remove the tubing from pump and place a nger over the tubing connector. If you
feel suction, the pump is operating properly, but the Breastmilk Expression Set may
not be correctly assembled or the white valve may be damaged. If no suction is felt
on your nger, try unplugging the adapter from the electrical outlet, wait a few
seconds, and plug it back into the electrical outlet.
n Make sure the Breastmilk Expression Set has been properly assembled. Check the
assembly information in the section “Assembling the Breastmilk Expression Set”, page 10.
n Inspect the white valve for a tear or pinhole. This component is critical to achieving
proper suction. Replace the white valve with one of the spare valves provided with
the product.
nWhen single pumping, check the tubing connector on the front of the pump to make
sure it is closed for single pumping. If open, close the connector.
nIf double pumping, ensure that the breastmilk expression set is on both breasts
before starting the pump.
Increased suction level for single pumping:
If it feels like the suction is higher than usual when single pumping, check that the plug
for the tubing is clean and that the airway in the plug is not blocked.

to be free from defects in material and workmanship which are not commercially
acceptable for the period of one year from the date of purchase on the pump
mechanism and the period of 90 days on all other product components. Warranty
coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer this product to another person.
This warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may also have other rights,
which vary, by location.
LANSINOH® MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTY OF ANY KIND REGARDING
THE PRODUCT OTHER THAN THOSE WARRANTIES EXPLICITLY SET FORTH
HEREIN. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHALL BE
LIMITED IN DURATION TO A PERIOD OF 90 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF

In the event the product is found by Lansinoh®to not meet the above limited
warranty, as purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy Lansinoh®will repair or, at the
option of Lansinoh®, replace this product without charge for such replacement or
parts or labor.
NOTE: The purchaser shall bear all expense for returning this product
to Lansinoh®. This warranty does not apply to any product that has
been subjected to misuse, abuse, or alteration.
Only Lansinoh®brand replacement parts are recommended for use with Lansinoh®
breastfeeding products. Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repair, or
use of non-Lansinoh® brand replacement parts may invalidate this warranty.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LANSINOH®SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES IN-
CLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, REPLACEMENT COSTS RESULTING
FROM THE BREACH OF ANY WRITTEN OR IMPLIED WARRANTY.

El Extractor de leche eléctrico doble Lansinoh Afnity®Pro es un artículo personal
y por razones de higiene nunca se debe compartir ni revender a otras madres.

para usted. Al presionar este botón cambiará el tipo de ciclo, como se muestra en la gura 1.
Si preere saltarse la Fase de estimulación de dos minutos que ya viene programada o si le baja la leche antes de los dos minutos, presione el interruptor Estimulación/extracción para cambiar a la Fase de extracción. Armado del set de extracción de leche materna
Su set de extracción de leche materna viene prearmado en un envase de productos
Lansinoh. Limpie las piezas del set de extracción de leche materna (excepto los tubos
y su conector) como se describe en la sección “Instrucciones de limpieza” (ver página
26). Una vez que todas las piezas estén limpias y completamente secas, arme el set
de extracción de la siguiente manera:
1. Coloque el diafragma morado en la parte superior de la base de la copa de succión.
Asegúrese de que las pestañas del diafragma se ajusten bien a los oricios de la base de
la copa de succión, como se muestra en la imagen de arriba. Luego, calce la tapa trans-
parente del diafragma en la base de la copa de succión, cubriendo el diafragma morado.
2. Presione la copa de succión ComfortFit™ en su base.
3. Fije con cuidado la válvula blanca en la parte inferior de la base de la copa de succión.
Nota: Tenga cuidado al manipular y limpiar la pequeña válvula blanca (ver página 26).
4. Enrosque el biberón en la base de la copa de succión.
5. Introduzca el tubo en la parte posterior de la tapa del diafragma; asegúrese de que quede
ajustado
6. Introduzca el conector del tubo, ubicado en uno de los extremos, en la entrada para el
adaptador del tubo del extractor.

●Siempre lávese cuidadosamente las manos con agua y jabón antes de manipular el set
de extracción de leche materna, el extractor u otros accesorios.
● Desarme el set de extracción de leche materna para limpiarlo. Mantenga el tubo aparte,
pues no necesita lavarlo o esterilizarlo.
● Asegúrese de que en el tubo no haya restos de líquido ni humedad. No utilice el extractor
si hay líquido visible en el tubo.
Instrucciones de limpieza
Salvo que su proveedor de atención médica indique lo contrario, siga estas instrucciones
de desinfección y limpieza.
Desinfección
1. Antes de utilizar el set de extracción de leche materna por primera vez,
desármelo y hierva por 10 minutos todas las piezas que entran en contacto con
la leche (incluye b1, b2, b3, b4, b5 y b6).
●Nota: Asegúrese de usar agua suciente para mantener todas las
piezas a ote durante el hervor.
●Nota: No hierva el tubo ni su conector.
2. Retire todas las piezas del agua inmediatamente después de hervirlas.
3. Séquelas completamente antes de ensamblarlas y usar el extractor otra vez.
●Nota: Las piezas que no estén completamente secas podrían afectar
el funcionamiento del extractor. Asegúrese de que las piezas estén
completamente secas antes de usarlas.
Limpieza:
● Aparte los tubos y su conector. No es necesario lavar ni desinfectar estos elementos
porque el diafragma impide que entren en contacto con la leche materna.
●Las copas de succión (b1) y los envases (b6) se pueden lavar en el compartimento
superior del lavaplatos o a mano con detergente y agua caliente. Para obtener mejores
resultados, recomendamos limpiar el recipiente con un cepillo de biberón y el interior de
la copa de succión con un cepillo para tetilla. NO utilice solventes ni abrasivos. Enjuague
con agua potable caliente.
● Las otras piezas del set de extracción de leche materna (b2, b3, b4, b5) se deben lavar a
mano con detergente y agua caliente para evitar pérdidas y alargar su vida útil.
●Para limpiar su extractor de leche, pase por la base un paño húmedo, usando solo agua
o jabón neutro.
● Nota: El extractor de leche Afnity Pro™ está diseñado como un sistema
cerrado para evitar que la leche materna entre en contacto con el tubo o
con el conector. Si observa que dentro del tubo o el conector
hay leche materna, líquidos o residuos, no trate de lavarlos,
limpiarlos ni esterilizarlos. Comuníquese inmediatamente con
Lansinoh al 800-292-4794.
●Nota: Antes de utilizar el set de extracción de leche materna, revise
bien cada componente para asegurarse de que no haya grietas, astillas,
roturas, manchas o deterioro, ya que podrían afectar su funcionamiento.

●Nota: Para obtener los mejores resultados, asegúrese de que los

3. Para encender el extractor, presione durante
unos segundos el botón de encendido/apagado.
El Extractor eléctrico doble Lansinoh Afnity®
Pro comenzará en la fase de estimulación .
Luego de dos minutos, la fase de estimulación
cambiará automáticamente a fase de extracción
en el modo 2 de ritmo de extracción.
Si preere saltarse la fase de estimulación de dos
minutos que ya viene programada o si le baja
leche antes de los dos minutos, presione el
interruptor Estimulación/extracción para
cambiar a la Fase de extracción, en donde
podrá seleccionar por separado el tipo de ciclo y
los niveles de succión.
Nota – el indicador del modo del ritmo de
extracción aparecerá en la pantalla para indicarle
que está en la Fase de extracción.
1. Asegúrese de que ambos tubos están unidos
al conector de tubos.
Para doble extracción de leche
2. Sostenga el set de extracción de leche materna
contra sus mamas de manera que el pezón se
extienda hacia el conducto para pezones de la
copa de succión. Asegúrese de que la mama llene
completamente la copa de succión para que se
forme vacío y el aire no se escape. Si siente
fricción o molestias en sus pezones, es posible
que necesite una copa de succión de otro tamaño.
También están disponibles copas de succión de
mayor tamaño. Para más información, llame al

El set de extracción de leche materna y el con-
ducto para pezones deben estar ligeramente
inclinados hacia abajo para que la leche uya
naturalmente hacia el biberón.
Consejos para la extracción de leche
Lo más importante de una extracción exitosa es la capacidad de generar el reejo de
bajada. Es el momento en que la leche comienza a uir libremente. La aplicación de
compresas tibias húmedas y los masajes circulares en las mamas antes de la sesión
de extracción o durante esta, pueden ayudar a incentivar este reejo natural. También
puede resultar útil pensar en su bebé, mirarlo u observar una foto suya si no está con él.
Algunas mamás logran que la leche baje más de una vez durante una sesión de
extracción. Usted puede lograr que la leche baje dos o incluso tres veces durante su
sesión de extracción si presiona el botón de estimulación/extracción .
¿Cuánto debe durar la extracción?
Si en lugar de la extracción individual utiliza la doble, disminuirá el tiempo que dedica
a la extracción. La producción de leche materna depende de la demanda; por eso, si
extrae su leche regularmente, su cuerpo estará estimulado y usted podrá mantener su
suministro de leche. Como sucede al lactar, no es necesario cronometrar sus sesiones
de extracción, aunque al usar el extractor de leche le será más fácil saber cuándo debe
hacerlo. Si tiene preguntas sobre la lactancia o la extracción de leche, póngase en
contacto con un consultor de lactancia certicado por la Junta Médica Internacional, un
asesor de actancia materna u otro proveedor de atención médica, como su médico de
cabecera.
Consejos para la extracción y suministro de leche materna
● Podrá extraer la leche de una mama mientras amamanta al bebé con la otra.
Esto le ayudará a maximizar la ecacia de la extracción utilizando el reejo de
“bajada” de leche que se estimula por la succión del bebé.
●Podrá extraer la leche en cualquier biberón o contenedor tamaño estándar y con
tapa de rosca.
●Si decide utilizar el biberón Lansinoh con una tetina suya, tome las siguientes
precauciones:
●
Siempre pruebe la temperatura del líquido antes de alimentar a su bebé.
●No deje que los niños se lleven el biberón a la cama o se alimenten solos
por períodos largos.
● Para prevenir un posible riesgo de asxia, pruebe la dureza de la tetina
tirando de la parte con forma de bulbo. Discontinúe su uso si aparecen
roturas o grietas.
●Le recomendamos probar el biberón Lansinoh® mOmma®, pues se ha
comprobado clínicamente que su tetina NaturalWave™ hace que los
bebés mantengan los patrones de lactancia adquiridos, permitiéndoles
pasar del seno al biberón y viceversa.
La diferencia en el ajuste
Su Extractor eléctrico doble Lansinoh Afnity®Pro le permite elegir en forma separada
los niveles de succión y tipos de ciclo para que identique las conguraciones que
sean de su mayor comodidad. Podrá usar los símbolos + y - para ajustar los niveles
de succión y jar la fuerza del extractor mientras utiliza el tipo de ciclo para ajustar el
tipo de extracción de leche que sea de su mayor comodidad .

Pautas para guardar leche materna
Almacenamiento y pautas de descongelamiento de la leche materna
para bebés saludables nacidos a término
Consulte con su proveedor de asistencia sanitaria o un Consultor de Lactancia
Certificado para instrucciones específicas de almacenamiento.
Cuando congele su leche materna, no llene mas de 3/4 de los recipientes para
permitir la expansión durante el congelamiento. Anote en los recipientes la fecha en
la que se extrajo la leche, para futura referencia.

Opciones de suministro de energía
El extractor funciona con las siguientes fuentes de energía:
Adaptador de CA (incluido)
6 pilas alcalinas AA (no incluidas)
No mezcle pilas nuevas con las usadas. No mezcle pilas alcalinas con las comunes
(zinc-carbón). Si las pilas están colocadas y se usa el adaptador de CA, el extractor
utilizará la energía del adaptador y no la de las pilas. Para un uso más económico,
le recomendamos utilizar el extractor con el adaptador de CA suministrado. Su
adaptador de CA tiene un enchufe universal al tomacorriente y se puede utilizar con
sistemas de red de 100 vca a 240 vca y 50 hz y 60 hz..
Asegúrese de colocar correctamente las pilas de
acuerdo con la polaridad (+) y (-) que se indica.
Coloque la tapa en el compartimento y presiónela
suavemente hasta que haga un clic.
Retire las pilas si no va a utilizar el extractor por un
largo periodo de tiempo. Deseche las pilas de
acuerdo con las normas de protección ambiental y
reciclaje. Reemplace todas las pilas simultáneamente.
Conecte el adaptador de CA al receptáculo ubicado
en el lado derecho del extractor. Enchufe el
adaptador de CA en un tomacorriente disponible.
Por su seguridad, siempre utilice el extractor con el
adaptador de CA suministrado con el producto.

Modo de uso del extractor Afnity®
Puede cambiar el ritmo de extracción del extractor
presionando el botón Modo del ritmo de
extracción . Al presionar este botón cambiará
el modo del ritmo de extracción. Todas las mamás
son diferentes, es por ello que hemos establecido
tres ritmos de extracción distintos para que usted
puede maximizar su producción de leche y la
comodidad. Le recomendamos probar los tres
modos para determinar cuál es el mejor para
usted.
Nota – si la succión llega a un nivel que le resulta molesto, reduzca el nivel de
succión presionando el botón (-) en el lado izquierdo de la pantalla LCD. Podrá
controlar los niveles de succión en ambas fases si presiona los botones + y -.
4. La pantalla LCD tiene un temporizador que le permite registrar el tiempo de
extracción para que pueda controlar su tiempo de manera efectiva. Cuando
termine la sesión de extracción, apague el extractor con el botón de encendido/
apagado. Luego de apagar el extractor, la pantalla permanecerá encendida por
unos segundos. Asegúrese de que no hay succión en el/los pezones antes de
quitarse las copas de succión de la mama. Si es necesario, interrumpa la suc-
ción insertando un dedo entre la copa de succión y la mama. Se podrá quitar
tranquilamente la copa de succión cuando se haya interrumpido la succión.
Nota: la luz de la pantalla LCD se apagará automáticamente si no se presionan
los botones de control durante 20 segundos, para ahorrar energía. Si la unidad
permanece encendida e inactiva por más de 60 minutos, el sistema de control la
apagará automáticamente. Deberá presionar y mantener presionado el botón de
encendido para que la unidad se encienda nuevamente.
NOTA: Si la succión llega a un nivel que le resulta molesto, reduzca
el nivel de succión presionando el botón Succión o desconecte el
conector del tubo del extractor.
Para una extracción de leche individual
Algunas madres preeren extraer leche de un pecho mientras alimentan a su
bebé con el otro.Si decide extraerse leche de un solo pecho, retire un tubo y
cierre el conector de tubos.

Resolución de problemas
Solución de problemas del Extractor eléctrico doble Lansinoh Afnity®
Pro en caso de interrupción de la electricidad.
Si experimenta una interrupción en el funcionamiento normal de la operación eléctrica
y/o mecánica del extractor, siga los siguientes pasos:
n Desenchufe el cable del adaptador de CA del tomacorriente.
n Espere unos segundos y vuelva a enchufar el adaptador de CA al tomacorriente.
Si el problema eléctrico continúa, intente utilizar el extractor con seis pilas AA
asegurándose de retirar el adaptador de CA.
Molestias durante la extracción
Si siente alguna molestia, posiblemente necesite una copa de succión de otro tamaño.

Disminución de la succión
Si siente que la succión disminuye, pruebe lo siguiente:
n Quite el tubo del extractor y coloque un dedo sobre el conector del tubo. Si siente
succión, el extractor funciona correctamente pero el set de extracción de leche
materna puede no estar montado correctamente o se puede haber dañado la válvula
blanca. Si no siente succión en el dedo, pruebe con desenchufar el adaptador del
tomacorriente, espere unos segundos y luego enchúfelo de nuevo.
n Asegúrese de haber armado correctamente el set de extracción de leche materna.
Revise la información de montaje en la sección “Instrucciones para armar el set de
extracción”, página 27.
n Revise que la válvula blanca no tenga alguna rasgadura o agujero. Esta pieza es
fundamental para que exista una correcta succión. Reemplace la válvula blanca con
una de las válvulas de repuesto que se adjuntan con el producto.
nCuando realice una extracción individual, revise el conector del tubo en la parte
frontal del extractor para asegurarse de que esté cerrado para extracción individual.
Si está abierto, ciérrelo.
nSi va a realizar una extracción doble, asegúrese de que el set de extracción de leche
materna esté en ambas mamas antes de encender el extractor.
Aumento de nivel de succión en extracción individual:
Si durante la extracción individual siente que la succión es superior a lo normal, verique
que el enchufe de la tubería esté limpio y sin bloqueos.
Pautas para guardar leche materna
Nota: NO almacene la leche materna en la puerta del congelador.
La puerta tiende a ser el lugar menos frío del congelador.
Anote la fecha en el recipiente y utilice primero la leche que lleva más tiempo en
el congelador.

Descongele la leche en la nevera o coloque el recipiente debajo de un chorro de
agua fría y entibie la temperatura del agua gradualmente hasta que la leche se
descongele. La leche descongelada se puede mantener en la nevera hasta 24
horas.
NOTA: NO vuelva a congelar la leche descongelada.
Mueva suavemente en forma circular el recipiente con leche descongelada antes
de alimentar a su bebé para mezclar las capas de la leche. La leche materna no
está homogeneizada y la “nata” subirá a la superficie del biberón. La leche materna
puede variar en cuanto a color y consistencia, dependiendo de la hora del día en
que se extrajo, los alimentos ingeridos por la madre y la edad del bebé cuando se
extrae la leche.
NOTA: ¡NO COLOQUE LECHE MATERNA EN EL HORNO DE
MICROONDAS! Las microondas alteran la composición de la leche.
También pueden crear “zonas calientes” en la leche, y pueden
quemar al bebé.
NOTA: NO descongele la leche materna con agua caliente o hirviendo.

Garantía limitada del producto (Estados Unidos)
Se garantiza al comprador y usuario original (“el comprador”) que este producto no tiene
ningún defecto en los materiales ni en la fabricación que lo haga inaceptable para su venta.

Si Lansinoh®determina que el producto no satisface la garantía estipulada en los párrafos
precedentes, Lansinoh®procederá, como única y exclusiva compensación para el comprador,
a reparar o reemplazar el producto, según considere conveniente, sin costo alguno para el
comprador por el producto reemplazado, las piezas de repuesto o el costo de la mano de
obra.
NOTA: El comprador pagará los costos generados por la devolución del producto
a Lansinoh®. Esta garantía no aplicará a ningún producto que se haya utilizado
de manera incorrecta o abusiva, o que haya sido objeto de alguna modicación.
Se recomienda la utilización exclusiva de piezas de repuesto de marca Lansinoh®para los
productos Lansinoh® relacionados con la lactancia materna. El mantenimiento y las repara-
ciones efectuadas de manera incorrecta, o la utilización de piezas que no sean de Lansinoh®,
pueden anular esta garantía.
EN LA MEDIDA EN QUE LA LEY LO PERMITA, LANSINOH®NO SE
RESPONSABILIZARÁ POR NINGÚN DAÑO INCIDENTAL O INDIRECTO, LO
CUAL INCLUYE, PERO NO SE LIMITA AL COSTO DE REEMPLAZO RESULTANTE
DE LA INFRACCIÓN DE ALGUNA GARANTÍA ESCRITA O IMPLÍCITA.
Si desea presentar una reclamación en virtud de esta garantía, deberá devolver el producto a
Lansinoh Laboratories, Inc., con el franqueo correspondiente, junto con la factura de compra
u otro comprobante con la fecha de compra y una descripción breve del problema, además
de un número de autorización de devolución (RA). Para solicitar el número de autorización
