Thank you for purchasing the Larin Mobile Engine Testing Station. This product is
the result of years of research and development. It is designed to be rugged yet
lightweight and simple to use. It is a universal product, for use with most engines.

IMPORTANT: Please keep your receipt in a safe, easy to find location, as you will
need it for any warranty/repair issues that may arise.

WARNING!
SAFETY WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
1. Study, understand, and follow all instructions before operating this device.
2. Use only on hard, level surface.
3. Do NOT exceed the rated capacity of 1,000lbs for this product.
4. Any Engine Station that appears to be damaged in any way, is found to be
worn, or operates abnormally shall be removed from service immediately
until repaired. It is recommended that a manufacturer or supplier’s
authorized repair facility make necessary repairs if the manufacturer or
supplier permits repairs.
5. If it is believed that the Engine has been subjected to abnormal load, or
shock, it shall be removed from service immediately until fully inspected.
6. Assure load is centered and secured to mounting attachments before
moving or testing. Off-center loads may make the load unstable.
7. Because of potential hazards associated with this type of product, NO
alterations shall be made to the product.
8. Only attachments and/or adapters supplied by the manufacturer shall be
used.
9. Use caution when making all of the connections.
10. Follow engine testing procedures and precautions as specified by the
manufacturer’s owner’s/repair manual.
11. Failure to heed these markings/warnings may result in personal injury and/or
property damage.

ASSEMBLY
Tools Needed for Assembly:
Crescent Wrench
Phillips Screwdriver
13mm Wrench
14mm Wrench
17mm Wrench

For all of the following steps, please refer to Parts Diagram, Parts List and Illustrations.
STEP 1 Unpack Testing Station and verify that you have received all of the
parts as indicated on the parts list.
STEP 2 Place Left Side Frame Tube and Right Side Frame Tube (#1 and #2)
on the floor with the 6 holes on the top and matching. Make sure
that the holes are closer to the outer edge of the metal parts and
that the two holes on the sides are closer to the top than to the
bottom. See Illustration A.
STEP 3 Attach Swivel Casters (#7 and #8) to Front End Frame Tube (#6)
using four of the small bolts (#38), two for each caster.
STEP 4 Attach Rigid Casters (#9 and #10) to Rear End Frame Tube (#3)
using four of the small bolts (#38), two for each caster.
STEP 5 Place Cross Member Frame Tube (#5) on the floor. Slide the Black
Sleeve with Post (#14) onto the Cross Member Frame Tube (#5).
Next slide another Black Sleeve with Post (#13) onto the Cross
Member Frame Tube (#5). Next insert the Black Sleeve (#12) into
the end of Cross Member Frame Tube (#5) as shown in Illustration B.

STEP 6 Place the other Cross Member Frame Tube (#4) on the floor. Slide the
Black Sleeve with Post (#15) onto the Cross Member Frame Tube
(#4). Next slide another Black Sleeve with Post (#16) onto the Cross
Member Frame Tube (#4). Next insert the Black Sleeve (#11) into the
end of Cross Member Frame Tube (#4) as shown in Illustration B.
STEP 7 Slide Cross Member Frame Tube (#4) onto Left and Right Side
Frame Tubes (#1 and #2). Next slide the other Cross Member Frame
Tube (#5) onto the Left and Right Side Frame Tubes (#1 and #2) as
shown in Illustration C.
STEP 8 Insert both large bolts (#33) into holes of Front End Frame Tube (#6).
Next screw them into the ends of the Threaded Rods (#17 and
#18). See Illustration C.
STEP 9 Slide the Threaded Rods (#17 and #18) into the ends of Left and
Right Side Frame Tubes (#1 and #2). Make sure it is the side that has
three holes. See Illustration C.
STEP 10 Place Rear End Frame Tube (#3) onto the ends of the Threaded
Rods (#17 and #18) at the opposite end of Left and Right Side
Frame Tubes (#1 and #2). Fasten with nuts and washers.

STEP 11 Using long bolt (#35), attach Swivel Casters (#7 and #8) to Left and
Right Side Frame Tubes (#1 and #2). Fasten with nuts and washers.
Next, also using the long bolt (#35), attach Rigid Casters (#9 and
#10) to Left and Right Side Frame Tubes (#1 and #2) on opposite
end. Fasten with nuts and washers.
STEP 12 Place the Vertical Posts (#21 and #22) onto the vertical posts on
the Front End Frame Tube (#6). Attach the Support Straps (#39 and
#40) to the Left and Right Side Frame Tubes (#1 and #2) using the
long bolts (#35).
STEP 13 Place the remaining Vertical Posts (#24 and #25) over the vertical
posts of the attached Black Sleeves with Posts (#15 and #16).
Attach with small bolt (#37).
STEP 14 Place two of the Engine Support (#29 and #30) onto vertical posts
of the attached Black Sleeves with Posts (#13 and #14). Attach
with small bolt (#37).

STEP 15 Place Horizontal Bar (#26) on top of Vertical Posts (#24 and #25).
Attach with medium bolt (#36).
STEP 16 Place Engine Supports (#27 and #28) onto Horizontal Bar (#26).
Attach with medium bolt (#34).
STEP 17 Place Dash Panel (#23) on top of Vertical Posts (#21 and #22).
Attach with medium bolts (#36).
STEP 18 Attach Tray Support (#19) to Left and Right Side Frame Tube (#1
and #2) using long bolts (#35). Place Tray (#20) on top of Tray
Support (#19) and Front End Frame Tube (#6).
STEP 19 Attach Gas Tank Holders (#31 and #32) using long bolts (#35).
STEP 20 Slide Gas Tank (#41) into Gas Tank Holders (#31 and #32).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. The owner and/or operator shall read, study, understand and follow all
product warnings/cautions and instructions prior to use. If the operator
is not fluent in English, the product warnings/cautions and instructions
shall be read to and discussed with the operator in operator’s native
language by purchaser/owner or his designee, insuring that the
operator comprehends their content.
2. Use caution when loading and unloading.
3. WARNING: Center load.
4. Surfaces must be dry, clean and free from oil or grease.
5. Secure the motor to the Testing Station as instructed.
6. WARNING: Because of potential hazardous associated with this type of
equipment, NO ALTERATIONS SHALL BE MADE to this product for use.
7. WARNING: Only attachments and/or adapters supplied by the
manufacturer shall be used.
8. Follow diagrams of Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3, Figure 4 and Figure 5.

Attach home sized garden
hoses to water adapters.
Thermostat is NOT used, and
the water pump remains
stationary (not spinning). It is
important to run the water
in the correct direction,
otherwise hot spots may
occur inside the engine and
possible damage. Start with
a small amount of water.
Watch the temperature
gauge, regulate to 160, 170,
180, as necessary.
Turn water off IMMEDIATELY
upon turning the engine off.
Thus, eliminating the risk of
cracking the hot block or
heads with cold water
entering the engine. Let
engine cool down by itself.

Ballast resister cuts battery
voltage down to about 7 volts
for long point life. If you need
12 volts either eliminate or
bypass resister.
NOTE
Most parts houses have in line
universal type fuel pumps that
are about the size of an in line
fuel filter and make for a nice
installation.
NOTE
Use radiator hose clamps to clamp
fuel pump, coils and ballast resister
to the legs of the bow under the
panel with weather stripping in
between the two.

MAINTENANCE/INSPECTION
This Testing Station shall be maintained in accordance with the instructions
provided. Inspection shall be made prior to each usage. Keep Testing
Station free of dirt and oil. Do not use if Testing Station is damaged in any
way.
Visually inspect for abnormal conditions, such as cracked welds,
leaks, damaged, loose or missing parts.
If it is believed that the Testing Station has been subjected to
abnormal load or shock, it shall be removed from service
immediately until fully inspected.
Any Testing Station that appears to be damaged in any way, is
found to be worn, or operates abnormally SHALL BE REMOVED
FROM SERVICE IMMEDIATELY UNTIL REPAIRED. It is recommended
that a manufacturer or supplier’s authorized repair facility make
necessary repairs if the manufacturer or supplier permits repairs.
Inspect all gauges and connections prior to use.
Clean all surfaces and maintain all labels, warnings and instructions.
If replacement labels, warnings and/or instructions are needed,
please contact Larin customer service to request.
Keep ramp surfaces dry, clean and free from oil or grease.
Owner’s and/or operators should be aware that repair of this
equipment may require specialized knowledge and facilities. It is
recommended that a manufacturer or supplier’s authorized repair
facility make an annual inspection and than any defective parts,
decals, or safety labels or signs be replaced with the
manufacturer’s or supplier’s specified parts. Call for list of authorized
facilities.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Must provide copy of receipt for Warranty –Keep receipt in safe location.
Larin Corporation warrants its products for a period of one year from the date of
purchase against manufacturer or material defects. This warranty does not cover
damage caused by accident, misuse, or tampering/altering of the product and
a charge will be made for such repairs.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which vary, from state to state.
This warranty excludes all consequential damages. Some states do not allow the
exclusion of consequential damages, so the foregoing exclusions may not apply
to you. For warranty service, please return the product prepaid to Larin
Corporation, 2029 Business Parkway, Ontario, California 91761. Be certain to
include your name and address, phone number, proof of purchase date and
description of the problem and the repaired or replaced product will be sent to
you freight collect.
IMPORTANT
No liability is accepted for incorrect use of product.
RETURN POLICY
DO NOT return unit to store where purchased if upon receipt and
inspection you discover missing or defective parts. Please call toll free
(800) 875-2746. We will send you the parts free of charge with proof of
purchase. In case the unit needs to be returned, it should be packed in
the original box. The serial number on the unit and box should match.
