Regardless of any reducon in funconal ability – and regardless
of how few resources an individual has – all children and adults
love to be part of the group.
People who are very immobile and who need to recline for many
hours in the day, oen experience that they are socially excluded.
This is because oen a bed or other kind of staonary locaon is
oen the preferred place for posioning the reclining person.
Regardless of how well-intenoned this posioning may be, the
user becomes excluded from the group. Reclining provides
physical support but not mental support.
Everyone enjoys being part of the community
Mobilia MobiBed means the user can be both mobile and social.
The transporter can be used for resng, stabilising, supporng
and yes of course, to transport the user around indoors. It creates
many posioning opons and is easy to adjust. These opons
allow the user to parcipate in several acvies, regardless of
whether the person needs to be in a reclining or sing down
posion.

1.4. Accessories for posioning
We provide several products as accessories for posioning the
user in Mobilia MobiBed:
 Module insert cushions consist of separate cushions, which
can be put together using clasps.
 Visco elasc maress with removable cover with strap for
posioning cushion.
 As a supplement for the insert cushions, a series of Mobilia
cushions, Mobilia cushions have been developed, specially
made for use in the Mobilia MobiBed.
 Combined with the large LASAL cushion series, a soluon can
be found to suit any user, child or adult.

3. Insert cushions
Mobilia MobiBed uses insert cushions, which are available in several sizes and models. The insert cushions are made from
comfortable materials and have removable and washable outer covers. The core insert cushions have a water-repellent and
antibacterial polyester cover.
In addition, the modules are equipped with a zip, so that the core filling can be varied as required. The removed filling is stored
in a fabric bag. Since the small beads can easily spill out, it is recommenced that when removing them, a sheet is placed below
the cushion.
Module Insert Cushions are made from three modules and can be compared to a beanbag chair. The modules can be shaped to
suit the user and surface. For users with Scoliosis or other severe deformities, this is a natural option for creating support and
comfort, in the sitting or reclining position.

The modules are assembled
using clasps in the sides.
All of the undersides of the modules are
covered with non-slip material.
The foot cushion is shaped to give good
support to the feet and lower legs.
3.1. Mobilia Module Insert Cushions
The back module consists of two separate inner cushions.
Module A (the smallest cushion) has a more solid lling to
support the head and neck. Module B has less solid lling, which
makes it more exible and can be shaped in accordance with the
user’s shape and requirements.

The illustraon shows a Mobilia Module Insert Cushion with black cover
made from 3D spacer, a material with increased airow.
Moving from a sing to a horizontal posion is simple and easy.
Mobilia MobiBed has an adjustable back and foot support, and the
height can also be adjusted.
The user can be posioned in either a reclining or lateral posion. It is
recommended to always transfer the user to/from the transporter
using a hoist.
Mobilia MobiBed is not equipped with a guard rail, so the belt must
always be used when the user has been moved into posion.
3.2. Posioning in Mobilia Module Insert Cushions
Cushions from both the Mobilia series and LASAL series can be used. The insert cushion can benecially be shaped before the user is placed on it,
so that the user can be placed deep into the material and thus achieve the
best support.

The Mobilia Maress consists of a TempraFlex® viscoelasc foam maress, where the “nest” is built up using loose posioning
cushions. This provides the real opon of creang individual posioning for the individual user. The same cushions can also be
used for posioning in a bed. The maress is available in three lengths with a washable cover.
MobiBed with Mobilia Maress with cover made from black spacer. The
cover is made from polyester. Rear with non-slip PU coang.
Straps are ed on the top of the maress, which are used to hold
the posioning cushions in place. In this example, a LASAL banana
cushion is being ed.
“The nest” is built up using loose posioning cushions from the Mobilia
series or the LASAL series.
The belt and straps on the Mobilia Maress are both used to keep the
cushions and user in posion.
The choice of cushions depends on the user’s desired posioning.

3.4. Mobilia Posioning Cushions
Child sing on a Mobilia Maress. LASAL Banana supports the neck
and back. NB: The straps hold the banana cushion in posion. LASAL
Crescent supports the arms. Mobilia Triangular Cushion supports the
knees and the LASAL T-Cushion corrects the feet’s direcon and lis
the heels from the surface.
