LIMPIEZA: Limpie las aberturas de toma de aire y escape del
Ventilador con un aditamento de cepillo en su aspiradora. Esto
eliminará la suciedad y el polvo que se pueden acumular con el
paso del tiempo. NO INTENTE DESARMAR EL VENTILADOR.
Limpie el cuerpo del Ventilador con un paño suave.
ADVERTENCIA: No use gasolina, bencina, acetona,
limpiadores abrasivos,etc., puesto que eso dañará elVentilador,
NUNCA use ALCOHOL o SOLVENTES.

FUNCIONAMIENTO (Figura 1)
ElVentilador debe hacerse funcionar con los controles ubicados en
la parte frontal del equipo.
1. Retire cuidadosamente elVentilador de su bolsa y caja.
2. Coloque el ventilador sobre una superficie firme y plana.
ADVERTENCIA: Los topes de plástico o de goma, como los pies
de esta unidad, pueden adherirse a la superficie de muebles y/o pisos
demaderadura.Launidadpuededejarunresiduoquepodríaoscurecer,
mancharo producirdefectospermanentesen laterminaciónde ciertas

3. Conecte el cable a un tomacorrientes eléctrico de 120 V~.
Asegúrese que el enchufe se introduzca firmemente en el
tomacorrientes.
4. Encienda elVentilador oprimiendo el
Botón De Encendido ( ).
Botón De Encendido se iluminará cuando el equipo haya sido
encendido.
5. Al encender elVentilador, el equipo estará funcionando en ALTO.
6. Si oprime el
Botón De Encendido por segunda vez, elVentilador
quedará en MEDIANO.
7. Si oprime el
Botón De Encendido por tercera vez, el Ventilador
quedará en BAJO.
8. Para APAGAR el Ventilador, oprima el Botón de Encendido/
Apagado ( ) y desenchufe la unidad del tomacorriente.Laluzde
encendido se apagará una vez que el equipo esté apagado.

8.Where possible, avoid the use of extension cords. If they must be
used, minimize the risk of overheating by ensuring that they are
UL listed. Never use a single extension cord to operate more
than one Fan.
9.Do not operate any Fan with a damaged cord or plug or after the
Fan malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return Fan toauthorizedservice facilityforexamination,electrical
or mechanical adjustment or repair.
10.Do not insert or allow fingers or foreign objects to enter any
ventilation or exhaust opening as it may cause an electric shock
or fire, or damage the Fan. Do not block or tamper with the Fan
in any manner while it is in operation.
11.Always place the Fan on a stable, flat, level surface when
operating, to avoid the chance of the Fan overturning. Locate
the Power Cord so the Fan or other objects are not resting on it.
Do not run Power Cord under carpeting. Do not cover Power
Cord with throw rugs, runners, or the like. Arrange Power Cord
away from room traffic and where it will not be tripped over.
12.This Fan is not intended for use in wet or damp locations.
Never locate a Fan where it may fall into a bathtub or other
water container.

INSTRUCCIONES MULTIDIRECCIONALES
(Figura 2)
La mitad superior del Ventilador puede orientarse en una dirección
diferente a la de la mitad inferior del mismo.La función de oscilación
podrá activarse con el ventilador enfrentando cualquier dirección.
1. Sostenga la
Base y la Parte Inferior De Ventilador en forma
estacionaria.
2. Tome la
Parte Superior DeVentilador y gírela a la posición que
desee.
ADVERTENCIA: NO INTENTE HACER GIRAR EL
VENTILADOR MÁS ALLÁ DE SU PUNTO DE RESISTENCIA,
PUES ELLO DAÑARÁ EL VENTILADOR.

OSCILLATION FUNCTION: ThisfunctionwillworkinanyFanspeed.
Pressing the
Oscillation Button ( )will allow the Fan to oscillate
back and forth.To stop the oscillation, press the
Oscillation But-
ton
once more.The Oscillation Button will light when this function
is in use.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE CORD BEFORE MOVING
OR SERVICING.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE FAN IN WATER!
CLEANING: Clean the Fan intake and exhaust openings with
the vacuum brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. This
will remove dirt and lint that may accumulate over time.DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO TAKE APART FAN. Clean the body of the Fan
with a soft cloth.
CAUTION:Do not use gasoline,benzine, thinner,harsh clean-
ers, etc. as they may damage the Fan. NEVER use ALCOHOL
OR SOLVENTS.
SERVICING: All other servicing, with the exception of general user
maintenance, should be performed by an authorized service repre-
sentative. Call 1-800-233-0268, Monday through Friday, between
the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00pm EST for the location of your near-
est service center.
STORAGE: Store the Fan, with these instructions, in the original
carton in a cool, dry place.

OPERATION (Figure 1)
The Fan is operated by the controls located on the front of the unit.
1. Carefully remove the Fan from the bag and the carton.
2. Place the Fan on a firm, level surface.
WARNING: Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this unit, may
stick to furniture surfaces and/or hardwood floors.The unit may leave
a residue that could darken, stain or leave permanent blemishes on
the finish of certain furniture surfaces, including wood surfaces, and/
or hardwood floors.
3. Plug the cord set into a 120 V~ electrical outlet. Be sure
plug fits tightly in outlet.
4. Turn the Fan ON by pressing the
Power Button ( ). The Power
Button
will light when the unit is turned on.
5. Upon turning the Fan ON, the unit will be on HIGH.
6. Pressing the
Power Button a second time will set the Fan
to MEDIUM.
7. Pressing the
Power Button a third time will set the Fan
to LOW.
8. To turn the Fan OFF, press the Power Button () and unplug the
unit from the electrical outlet.The power light will go out when the
unit is off.

8. De ser posible, evite el uso de cables de extensión. Si debieran

10.No introduzca ni permita que se introduzcan dedos u objetos

y horizontal mientras esté en funcionamiento, para evitar la
posibilidad de que el Ventilador se dé vuelta. Ubique el cable
eléctrico de tal modo que el ventilador u otros objetos no
descansen sobre él. No disponga el cable eléctrico debajo de
alfombras. No cubra el cable eléctrico con tapetes, alfombras
continuas u objetos similares. Coloque el cable eléctrico fuera
delpaso de las personas y donde nadie se tropiece conel mismo.

MULTI-DIRECTIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
(Figure 2)
The top half of the Fan can be manually turned a different direction
than the bottom half of the Fan. The oscillation function will work
with the top half of the fan facing any direction.
1. Hold the
Base and the Bottom Fan stationary.
2. Grasp the
Top Fan and turn it to the desired position.
CAUTION:DO NOT ATTEMPTTOTURNTHE FAN BEYONDTHE
POINT OF RESISTANCE.THIS WILL DAMAGETHE FAN.
