Plug de USB stick into your computer and start the BITS
setup.
Follow the guidelines on your screen and complete the
setup in just a few minutes.

Plug the crocodile test leads into the Alfabat’s battery port
and connect the crocodile clips to the battery terminals.
Remember: Red is for the positive terminal, black is for the
negative terminal.

Switch on the AlfaBat with the enter key. The device will
now ask the battery capacity. Use the up and down key to
modify the setting and confirm with the enter key.
The test will automatically start and the display will indicate
the test progress.
The display shows the result at the end of the test.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How long does it take to test a battery?
The only way to accurately test a battery’s capacity is to discharge it. Unfortunately,
this can’t be done in a few seconds. Depending on battery capacity & quality a test
can take anytime from 1 minute to 10 hours.
2. Where is the Manual?
The manual is available in several languages on the USB stick. Simply put the USB
stick in the computer and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software
& manuals. Look for BITS in your programs menu and open the AlfaBat Pro or BITS
Manual.
3. Can the AlfaBat recharge a battery?
No, the AlfaBat is not a charger. The unit does have a charger connection port
where you can connect your charger for testing it.. Look in the manual for charger
connection schemes.
4. How do I update my software?
Simply ask for it by sending email to [email protected].
5. How can I resolve communication problems?
First connect your AlfaBat Pro to the computer with a USB cable and make sure
the device is powered on.
If communication doesn’t work (red flashing arrows in bottom status panel) try
selecting the available ports manually. You can find the available ports in ‘Program
options’, which you can reach through menu ‘Options’.
6. How can I test a charger & cycle a battery?
You need a computer to setup the AlfaBat, using profiles, to do this type of test.
Make sure to read the setup instructions in the manual and “Working with
Profiles”.

Sluit de kabel met krokodilklemmen aan op de batterijpoort
van de AlfaBat Pro en sluit de klemmen aan op de polen van
de batterij.
Denk eraan: rood is de positieve pool en zwart is de
negatieve pool.

Schakel het toestel in met de enter knop. Het toestel zal
nu vragen naar de batterijcapaciteit. Gebruik het pijltje naar
boven of naar onder om de waarde te veranderen en
bevestig met de enter knop.
De test zal automatisch starten en het scherm zal de
vooruitgang tonen.
Op het einde van de test wordt het resultaat weergegeven
op het scherm van de AlfaBat.

Vaak gestelde vragen
1. Hoe lang duurt een batterijtest?
Een batterij volledig ontladen is de enige berouwbare manier om een batterij te
testen. Spijtig genoeg kan dit niet op enkele seconden gebeuren. Afhankelijk van de
capaciteit en de kwaliteit van de batterij duurt een test 1 minuut tot meer dan 10
uur.
2. Waar is de handleiding?
De handleiding is in verschillende talen aanwezig op de USB stick. Plaats de USB
stick in de computer en volg de instructies om de software en de handleidingen te
installeren. Je vindt de BITS map terug in het programma menu en open de AlfaBat
Pro of BITS Handleiding.
3. Kan de AlfaBat een batterij laden?
Nee, de AlfaBat is GEEN batterijlader. De unit heeft een lader connectie poort
waar je een lader kan aansluiten om deze te testen. Zoek in de handleiding naar de
aansluitschema’s.
4. Hoe kan ik de software updaten?
Stuur je vraag naar [email protected].
5. Hoe communicatie storingen oplossen?
Sluit eerst de AlfaBat Pro aan op de computer met de USB kabel en let erop dat
het toestel ingeschakeld is.
Als de communicatie niet werkt (rood oplichtende pijlen in de statusbalk) probeer
dan manueel de beschikbare poorten. De beschikbare poorten zijn terug te vinden
in ‘Program options’ die je via het menu ‘Options’ kan bereiken.
6. Hoe een lader testen & een batterij cycleren?
Om dit soort testen uit te voeren, heb je een computer nodig en moet je profielen
gebruiken. Lees zeker en vast de installatie-instructies in de handleiding en
“Werken met Profielen”.

de l'Alfabat et connectez les pinces aux bornes de la
batterie.
N'oubliez pas: rouge est la borne positive, noir est la borne
négative

Allumez l'AlfaBat avec la touche Enter. L'appareil vous
demandera ensuite la capacité de la batterie. Utilisez les
touches flèche vers le haut et le bas pour modifier le
réglage et confirmez avec la touche enter.
Le test démarrera automatiquement et l'affichage indiquera
l'avancement du test.
Le resultat est afficher sur l’écran après du test.

Questions fréquemment posées
1. Combien de temps faut-il pour tester une batterie?
Le seul moyen de tester avec précision la capacité d'une batterie est de la
décharger complètement. Malheureusement, cela n'est pas possible en quelques
secondes. D'après la capacité et la qualité de la batterie, un test peut prendre de 1
minute à 10 heures.
2. Où est le manuel?
Le manuel est disponible en plusieurs langues sur le USB stick inclus dans le paquet.

dann nach der Kapazität der Batterie gefragt. Verwenden
Sie die Pfeiltasten, um die Einstellung abzuändern und
quittieren Sie mit der Eingabetaste.
Der Test läuft automatisch an und der Testablauf lässt sich
im Display verfolgen.

1. Wie lange dauert ein Batterietest?
