IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
WIRING FOR VOLTAGE DROP
Voltage drop is normal loss of voltage that occurs as power ows along a wire connection in a low voltage systems, and increases as the length of
a wire connection is increased. Wire length and thickness as well as total light wattage inuence the amount of voltage drop.

INSTALLATION PLANNING
RGB LED Bars is a versatile color changing lighting product that can provide a superior lighting solution in a variety of applications.
Recommend design steps before starting the installation process:
General questions based on lighting requirements:
ŸWhere will your power supply be located
ŸHow will you switch your LED lighting ON and OFF?
ŸWhat is the best layout conguration for your installation with wiring consideration?
ŸHow will you run your wiring to your LED strip lighting?
WATTAGE CALCULATION
The RGB LED Bars have a label on each roll that indicates the voltage and wattage. Kit includes Class 2 Power Supply for 10pcs of 12” RGB LED Bars.
To calculate the wattage, measure the total length of LED Bar in your run multiplied by the wattage of the LED Bar. Remember that a power source
should only operate at a maximum 80% of it’s rated capacity.
For example : 12 inch of LV-HS-RGB-12T2-1 x 3.2W = 3.2 Watts
Never Extend the Length of Bars in Kit.

Mounting clip must be placed within
4" (10cm) end and beginning.
Front Connector
1. Mark on mounting surface to align the LED Connect Bar.
2. Screw and x the mounting clip.
3. Push gently the LED Bar main into the mounting clips
Connect power at one end only! Secure wiring with wire
clamps.

TROUBLESHOOTING
LED Bar light strip does not light
ŸMake sure your power supply is turned on and has the correct voltage.
ŸConrm you have the correct polarity (+ to + and - and -) throughout the run of LED Lighting.
ŸHave a electrician check all connections from the power supply, LED Color Controller to the RGB LED Light Bars.
ŸConsider testing with a multimeter to ensure light strip is receiving 12V power.
LED Bar lights blink on, then go off
ŸThe power supply is not adequate for the length of LED Light Bars you are powering. Install a adequate Class 2 power supply.
LEDs farthest from the power supply are noticeably dimmer
ŸThis is the result of voltage drop. Decrease the length of the 12V power feed or use thicker power feed wires between the 12V power
supply and the lighting bars.
