1.Donotcoverorblockanyventilationopenings.Whenplacingthedevice
onashelf,leave

2.Installinaccordancewiththesuppliedusermanual.
3.Keepthedeviceawayfromheatsourcessuchasradiators,heaters,
stoves,candlesandotherheat‐generatingproductsornakedflame.
Thedevicecanonlybeusedinmoderateclimates.Extremelycoldor
warmenvironmentsshouldbeavoided.Workingtemperaturebetween
0°and35°C.
4.Avoidusingthedevicenearstrongmagneticfields.
5.Electrostaticdischargecandisturbnormalusageofthisdevice.Ifso,
simplyresetandrestartthedevicefollowingtheinstructionmanual.
Duringfiletransmission,pleasehandlewithcareandoperateinastatic‐

6.Warning!Neverinsertanobjectintotheproductthroughtheventsor
openings.Highvoltageflowsthroughtheproductandinsertingan

8.Thedeviceshallnotbeexposedtodrippingorsplashingandmakesure
thatnoobjectsfilledwithliquids,suchasvases,areplacedonornear

9.Donotusethisdevicewhencondensationmayoccur.Whentheunitis
usedinawarmwetroomwithdamp,waterdropletsorcondensation
mayoccurinsidetheunitandtheunitmaynotfunctionproperly;let

10.Althoughthisdeviceismanufacturedwiththeutmostcareandchecked
severaltimesbeforeleavingthefactory,itisstillpossiblethatproblems
mayoccur,aswithallelectricalappliances.Ifyounoticesmoke,an
excessivebuild‐upofheatoranyotherunexpectedphenomena,you
shoulddisconnecttheplugfromthemainpowersocketimmediately.

pluggedintotheunitdirectly.Don’tuseanUSBextensioncablebecause
itcancauseinterferenceresultinginfailingofdata.

device.

25.Referallservicingtoqualifiedservicepersonnel.Servicingisrequired
whenthedevicehasbeendamagedinanyway,suchasthepower
supplycordortheplug,whenliquidhasbeenspilledorobjectshave
fallenintothedevice,whenthedevicehasbeenexposedtorainor
moisture,doesnotoperatenormally,orhasbeendropped.
26.Longexposuretoloudsoundsfrompersonalmusicplayersmayleadto
temporaryorpermanenthearingloss.
27.IftheproductisdeliveredwithpowercableorACpoweradaptor:
Ifanytroubleoccur,disconnecttheACpowercordandrefer
servicingtoqualifiedpersonnel.
Don’tsteponorpinchthepoweradaptor.Beverycareful,
particularlyneartheplugsandthecable’sexitpoint.Donotplace
heavyitemsonthepoweradaptor,whichmaydamageit.Keep
theentiredeviceoutofchildren’sreach!Whenplayingwiththe
powercable,theycanseriouslyinjurethemselves.
Unplugthisdeviceduringlightningstormsorwhenunusedfora
longperiod.
Thesocketoutletmustbeinstalledneartheequipmentandmust
beeasilyaccessible.
Donotoverloadacoutletsorextensioncords.Overloadingcan
causefireorelectricshock.
Deviceswithclass1constructionshouldbeconnectedtoamain

productandkeepitawayfromchildren.

29.CautionabouttheuseofBatteries:
Dangerofexplosionifbatteryisincorrectlyreplaced.Replaceonly
withthesameorequivalenttype.
Batterycannotbesubjectedtohighorlowextremetemperatures,
lowairpressureathighaltitudeduringuse,storageor
transportation.
Replacementofabatterywithanincorrecttypethatcanresultin
anexplosionortheleakageofflammableliquidorgas.
Disposalofabatteryintofireorahotoven,ormechanically
crushingorcuttingofabattery,thatcanresultinanexplosion.
Leavingabatteryinanextremelyhightemperaturesurrounding
environmentthatcanresultinanexplosionorthatleakageof
flammableliquidorgas.
Abatterysubjectedtoextremelylowairpressurethatmayresult
inanexplosionortheleakageofflammableliquidorgas.
Attentionshouldbedrawntotheenvironmentalaspectsof
batterydisposal.

•Unpackallpartsandremoveprotectivematerial.
•Donotconnecttheunittothemainsbeforecheckingthemainsvoltage
andbeforeallotherconnectionshavebeenmade.


Thisturntableissuppliedwithafactoryfittedandadjustedcartridge.
**Thefollowinginstructionsforadjustingthecartridgeareprovidedincase
thecartridgeisreplacedbyadifferentmodelatalaterdate.


InstallingtheLid
InstalltheLidcarefullyoverthehingeprongs.

TurntablePlatterandBeltSetup
1.Installthedrivebeltovertheinnerringundertheplatterandmakesure
itwon’tfalloffduringthesetup.
2.Placetheplatterthroughtheturntablespindle,
thenrotatetheplatteruntilyouseethedrive
motorpulleythroughthewindowatthetop
leftcorner.
3.Carefullygrabthedrivebeltandputitaround
theslotofmotorpulley.
4.Connectthepoweradaptertotheturntableandpowerontheturntable.

5.SettheMotorStart/StopswitchtotheStartpositiontoseeiftheplatter
motorspins.Iftheplatterdoesnotspin,trythestepslistedaboveagain.
CartridgeDownforceAdjustment

TheCounterweightsuppliedissuitableforcartridgesweighingbetween6.0‐
8.0g.
-GentlypushandturntheCounterweightontotherearofthetonearm
(withthescalefacingtowardthefrontoftheturntable).
-Removethecartridgeprotectioncap.
-Lowerthetonearmliftandpositionthecartridgeinthespacebetween
tonearmrestandplatter.
CarefullyrotatetheCounterweightuntilthetonearmbalancesout.The
tonearmshouldreturntothebalancedpositionifitismovedupordown.
Thisadjustmentmustbedonecarefully.

-Oncethetonearmiscorrectlybalancedreturnittoits’rest.Holdthe
Counterweightwithoutmovingit,andgentlyrotatetheDownforceScale
ringuntilthezeroisinlinewithblacklineontherearofthetonearm.
Checkwhetherthearmstillbalancesout.

-Rotatethecounterweightcounterclockwise(seenfromthefront)toadjust
thedownforceaccordingtothecartridgemanufacturer’s
recommendations.Onemarkonthescalerepresents0.05gofdownforce.


NOTE:Therecommendeddownforceforthefactoryfittedcartridgeis1.8±0.2g.
Locatetheanti-skatingweight
Youwillfindaanti‐skatingweightwithsmallfishinglinefromthepackage,
pleasefollowbelowstepstolocatetheanti‐skatingweight:
