Options for the tamper alarm
The reader support both break off and opening protection. If needed the break off protection can be
disabled with the red tray in the accessories bag.
To open the reader: Use the reader opening tool (LNL-RS0000-O1) to avoid any damage to the front
cover and/or mounting plate, remove the front cover from the mounting plate as shown on the picture
to the right.
1. Mount the bracket plate on the wall using supplied
screws.
2. Assemble the tamper alarm switch tray as shown in
the picture.
3. Remove the spring from the reader tamper alarm
switch.
4. Assemble the reader. Tamper alarm will be normal
state as long as the reader is assembled. If the reader
is disassembled the tamper alarm is activated.
 


 

 



Please consult table in full installation manual on how the LED-settings will affect
current draw.

Notes
1. Maximum wiegand cable length is 150 meters and requires
a high quality shielded cable with minimum AWG18 dimension
(=0.8231mm2) in an environment free from electrical noise.
A cable with smaller dimension or an installation environment with
electrical disturbances will reduce the maximum cable length.
2. Wiegand requires dedicated wires for external control of Green LED,
Red LED, Buzzer and Keypad backlight.
3. OSDP / RS485 converter connector, supports a wire diameter from
20 to 24 AWG. Requires twisted pair cable.
