Chapter 1. Meet your computer
Front
1. Po er button
Press to turn on the computer.
To turn off the computer, open the Start menu, click Power, and then select
Shut down.
The indicator in the po er button sho s the system status of your computer.
• On: The computer is on.
• Off: The computer is off or in hibernation mode.
• Blinking: The computer is in standby mode.
2. USB-C™ connector (USB 3.2
Gen 1)
• Charge your computer.
• Charge USB-C compatible devices ith the output voltage and current of 5 V
and 0.9 A.
• Transfer data at USB 3.2 speed, up to 5 Gbps.
• Connect to USB-C accessories to help expand your computer functionality. To
purchase USB-C accessories, go to https:// .lenovo.com/accessories.
3. USB 3.2 connector Gen 1 Connect USB-compatible devices, such as a USB keyboard, USB mouse, USB
storage device, or USB printer.
4. Headset connector Connect a headset or headphones to your computer.

1. Security-lock slot Lock your computer to a desk, table, or other fixtures through a Kensington-style
cable lock
2. Ethernet connector
Connect to a local area net ork (LAN). When the green indicator is on, the
computer is connected to a LAN. When the yello indicator blinks, data is being
transmitted.
3. USB 3.2 connectors Gen 1 (4) Connect USB-compatible devices, such as a USB keyboard, USB mouse, USB
storage device, or USB printer.
4. HDMITM 1.4 out connector
Send audio and video signals from the computer to another audio or video device,
such as a high-performance monitor. For more information, see https://
.hdmi.org/manufacturer/hdmi_1_4/index.aspx.
5. DisplayPort® connector Send audio and video signals from the computer to another audio or video device,
such as a high-performance monitor.
6. Po er connector Connect the po er cord to your computer for po er supply.
