The LenovoMORFDJUL RF Mouseisasimpleyetinnovativepackage that allowsyou toconfigureyour
mousetobestmeetyourneeds.
SafetyGuidelines
Physicaldiscomfortand injury can be caused bythe incorrect useof yourmouse.Follow theseguidelinesto
ensuresuchproblemsareavoided:
Situp straightinyourchair,withyourelbowsbyyourside.
Adjust the height of yourchairsoyourarmbendsat a90-degree anglerespective toyourdesk.
Position yourmouseinfront you,tothe side of yourkeyboard.
Do not slouchorhunchoveryourworkspace. It isimportant tokeep yourwrists, armsand shoulders
relaxed.
Ifnecessary, useawrist rest orapalmresttoalleviateextrastress placed on your jointswhen typing
orusing the mouse, especiallyforlong periodsoftime.
Ifyouexperienceanyfeelingsnumbness, cramp, swelling orstiffness inyourwrist,arms, neckorshoulders,
consult yourlocal doctorornearest healthinstitutionimmediately.
NavigatingLenovo Wireless Mouse
The simpleand straightforwardinterfacemakesiteasyforyou tocustomizeeachfunctionofyourmouse.
Different settings are indicated by the tabs on the top of the screen. Click on the links to entereach settings
screen.
Changing Button Settings
You can configureeachofthe fivemousebuttonsthrough the button settingsscreen.
The 'Select Button'list displaysthe list of buttonsand theircurrentfunction.The 'SelectTask'list displaysa
list ofactionsyou can taketoconfigurethe button highlighted inthe'Select Button'list.
Moveyourmouseoverthe 'Select Button'list and clickeachitemtoviewmoreinformation.
Restore Defaults
Eachsetting screen hasaRestoreDefaultsbutton. Click torestoreallsettings
totheiroriginaldefaults.
TheLeft and RightClick Buttons
By default,the left mousebutton isset tooperateasastandardleft clickbutton.The right mousebutton isset to
operateasastandardright clickbutton.
Ifyouwant toswapthesetwobutton functions, check the Swap Buttons checkbox.Click to
saveallchanges.

TheMiddleMouse Button
By default,the mousewheelisset tooperateas Middle Button when pressed.
Selectthe function you wishtoassign tothe middlebutton bychecking the radiobuttonsin the Select Task list.
Click tosaveallchanges.
Moveyourmouseoverand click anyof the Select Task list optionsformoredetailed information.
SideButton1
By default,the button isset tooperateas Backward when pressed.
Selectthe function you wishtoassign tothe buttonbychecking theradiobuttonsinthe Select Task list.
Click tosaveallchanges.
Moveyourmouseoverand click anyof the Select Task list optionsformoredetailed information.
SideButton2
By default,the button isset tooperateas Forward whenpressed.
Selectthe function you wishtoassign tothe buttonbychecking theradiobuttonsinthe Select Task list.
Click tosaveallchanges.

Middle Mouse Button
Selecttoassign the button toMiddleMouseButton bychecking theradiobuttonsinthe Select Task list.
Click tosaveallchanges.
Moveyourmouseoverand click anyof the Select Task list optionsformoredetailed information.
3D Flip
Selecttoswitchbetween running programswhen you click the mousewheel. Anapplication list appears
Windows XP:
Windows Vista:
Rollthe mousewheeltoscrollup and downthe list.
Click anymousebutton toswitchtothe selected application.
Forward
Whenyou press the button, the page youvisited beforeyou pressed the Backwardbutton isdisplayed inyour
browser.
Click tosaveallchanges.
Backward
Whenyou press the button, the last page you visited inyourbrowserisdisplayed.
Click tosaveallchanges.

Selecttoexecuteone ofaset ofotherpre-defined functionswhen you pressthe button.
Adrop downmenu willappear.Select an applicationfromthe following list:
Click tosaveallchanges.
ChangeWheel Settings
You can configurethe wheelsettingsinthe wheelsettingsscreen.
The 'Scrolling Speed'section allowsyou toadjust the scroll speed when you scrollthewheelvertically.
The 'Horizontal Scrolling'section allowsyou toadjustthe scrollspeed when you scrollthe wheelhorizontally
(tilt left/right).
Mouse Wheel
Selectthe scrolling speed you want byclicking the Scrolling Speed options:
Scroll: Clicktheradiobutton and usethe up/downarrowstoincrease/decreasethe speed.
Scroll one screen per notch: Click the radiobutton tochoosescroll downbyscreenwhen you movethe
mousewheel.
Click tosaveallchanges.

Horizontal Scrolling
Movethe slidertothe left/righttodecrease/increasethe horizontalscrolling speed.
Click tosaveallchanges.
Double-Click Speed
Movethe slidertoset the pointermovement speed.
Movethe pointinthe Test Areatotest yournewsetting.

Slow Motion
Check toenablethe slowmotion function bypressing the Shift key.

Troubleshooting
Question: My mouse is not working. What should I do?
Answer: Check if the receiverisplugged incorrectlytoyourcomputer'sUSBport.Alooseconnection may
result inthe computernot being abletodetectthe device.
Ifyourmouseisconnected toahub ormulti-portUSB connector, unplug the deviceand plug itdirectlyinto
yourcomputer'sUSB port, ensuring thereisno interferencecaused bythesedevices.
Othersystemdevices, suchasPCcards,maycauseconflictsthatprevent yourmousefromworking properly.
Check the settingsofthesedevicesand makeanychangesasnecessary. Reboot yourcomputerand
re-attachthemouse.
Question: The mouse pointer is not moving. What should I do?
Answer: Ensureall setup procedureshavebeen followed correctly.If softwareand drivers havealreadybeen
installed, removethese, reboot yourcomputerand re-install.
Clean the mouselenswithacotton swab. Do not useanyothermaterialsorsolventstoclean the mouselens
asthismayresultindamage tothe lens.
Asthisisan optical device,it isimportant touseiton an appropriatesurface.Ifthe surfaceyou areusing your
mouseon isred incolororhighlyreflective,the surfacemaybe thesourceofthe problem. Useeithera
mousemat orchange toamoreneutral-coloredsurface.
Ensurethat batteriesarenot out of power. Replacebatteriesif necessary.
Question: The mouse pointer is moving abnormally. What should I do?
Answer: The likelycauseofthisproblemisdebrisaround oron the lenswhichisinterfering withtheoptical
signal. Clean the mouselenswithacotton swab. Do not useanyothermaterialsorsolventstoclean the
mouselensasthismayresultindamage tothelens.
Ifthe mousepointercontinuestomoveabnormallyaftercleaning, re-installthe driversandsoftware.

Low Battery Notification
Whenthe mouseisrunning outof power, aNotificationwindowwillpop up on the screen.
Replacethe batteriestocontinue tousethe mouse.
