QUICK INSTRUCTIONS

3. Close the BATTERY DOOR.

BASS BOOST
Slide this switch to ON position to give you more low frequency tones.
VOLUME CONTROL
Adjust the VOLUME CONTROL to your preference on the set or on the REMOTE
CONTROL when playing with the REMOTE CONTROL.
POWERING UP
Power this CD player by inserting 2 size AA fresh alkaline batteries or using the
provided Cigarette Lighter Adaptor.
2 SIZE AA BATTERIES
PLUGGING IN
Plug the headphones into the PHONES jack on the left side of the player (or on the top
of the REMOTE CONTROL, if playing the set with the REMOTE CONTROL), and put
on the headphones.
NOTE: If the symbol   shows or flashes in
the display, your batteries are weak and
need replacement.

AC ADAPTOR (OPTIONAL)
You can also power this player by connecting an optional AC adaptor. Before you
buy an optional AC Adaptor, please note, the only AC ADAPTOR suitable for this player
is DC 4.5V 600mA (or greater) with plus center polarity . Others may damage
your player. Please check voltage and current (mA) before buying an AC ADAPTOR.
BATTERY OPERATION
1. Open the BATTERY DOOR.
2. Insert 2 size AA fresh alkaline batteries as
shown.
NOTE: Player will not work, and batteries will be
drained, if not inserted as shown on the
bottom of the set.

QUICK INSTRUCTIONS
BASIC FEATURES
PAUSE
Pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button while a disc is playing will pause play. (The elapsed
playing time will flash during pause.) Press the PLAY/PAUSE again to continue play.
STOP (or POWER OFF)
Press the STOP button once to stop play and the power will shut off automatically
about 30 seconds later, or press the STOP button twice to shut off the power
immediatelly.
REPEAT
During play, press the REPEAT button once to repeat one song over and over,

REPEAT ONE
 will show in the display. That song will play and repeat again and
again till you press STOP.
To repeat all songs, just press the REPEAT button twice, 
REPEAT ALL
will be steadily
on. Press the STOP button to quit repeat play.
SKIP/SEARCH ( or )
During play, press and hold the SKIP/SEARCH buttons or while the disc is
playing to search backward or forward through a particular track (or song).
Press it several times to skip to a later or earlier song, or to get back to the
beginning of the song.
PROGRAMMING
To arrange the songs to play in a special sequence (1, 5, 2, 3, etc.) you can
program the set to your taste.
Press the PROGRAM button, use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons ( or ) to
select the track you want, then press the PROGRAM button. Repeat pressing the
SKIP/SEARCH buttons ( or ) and PROGRAM button till you finish
programming, then press PLAY.

PLAYING A DISC
You can play compact discs that have this logo:
1. Slide the OPEN button to open the CD DOOR.
2. Place a disc on the center post with the label facing up,
and then gently push down on the center of the disc until
it clicks in.
3. Close the CD DOOR, press the PLAY button, the display
tells you how many tracks are on the disc and total
playing time on the disc, then the disc will play.
NOTE: This CD player will only play NORMAL music CDs (or
CD-R discs). This set will not play CD-RW encoded
discs.
ESP
The ESP PLUS
TM
function will turn on automatically when the PLAY/PAUSE button is
pressed. Your music will not skip or stop when the set is shaken or vibrated for brief
periods (after memory buffer fills).
