Käyttö
• Työnnä nidontaa varten nidottavat paperit nidonta-
aukkoon wvasteeseen asti. Nitoja laukeaa heti.
Paperisuma
Jos papereita tai niittejä on juuttunut nidonta-aukkoon
w, paina painiketta PUSH r ja vedä sitten niittilokero
qulos. Poista juuttunut paperi tai juuttuneet niitit.
Puhdistus
Huomio!
Jos laitteeseen työntyy kosteutta, laite voi vaurioitua
korjauskelvottomaan kuntoon! Varo, ettei puhdistuksen
yhteydessä laitteeseen pääse kosteutta!
• Puhdista laite ainoastaan kevyesti kostutetulla
liinalla.
Niittien asettaminen
• Paina laitteen taustapuolella olevaa painiketta
PUSH r. Niittilokero qtyöntyy ulos.
• Aseta niitit niittilokeroon qhakaset alaspäin.
Varmista, etteivät niitit pääse kääntymään (kuva A).
• Työnnä niittilokero qtakaisin laitteeseen, kunnes
se lukittuu kuuluvasti paikoilleen.
Paristojen asettaminen
• Vedä paristolokeron kansi eirti nuolen suuntaan.
• Aseta paristokoteloon 4 kappaletta 1,5 V:n paris-
toja kokoa AA (eivät sisälly toimitukseen). Huomioi
tällöin paristolokeroon merkitty napaisuus (kuva B).
• Aseta paristokotelon kansi ejälleen paikoilleen
ja varmista, että paristokotelon kannen euloke
viedään paristolokerossa olevaan reikään.
• Tätä laitetta ei ole tarkoitettu sellaisten henkilöiden
(mukaan lukien lapset) käyttöön, joiden rajoitetut,
fyysiset, aistilliset tai henkiset kyvyt tai kokemuksen
ja/tai tiedon puute estävät käytön, lukuun ottamatta
tilanteita, joissa heitä valvoo turvallisuudesta vas-
taava henkilö tai joissa he ovat saaneet tältä
ohjeita laitteen käytöstä. Lapsia tulee valvoa, jotta
varmistettaisiin, etteivät he leiki laitteella.
• Jos laite on pidempään käyttämättä, poista paristot.
Paristoja ei saa heittää avotuleen, purkaa tai
oikosulkea. Älä koskaan yritä ladata paristoja
uudelleen, muutoin ne saattavat räjähtää.
Ohjeita paristojen käsittelyyn
Laite toimii paristoilla. Huomaa paristojen käsittelystä
seuraavaa:
Räjähdysvaara!
Älä heitä paristoja tuleen. Älä lataa paristoja uudelleen.
• Älä koskaan avaa paristoja, älä koskaan juota tai
hitsaa paristoja. Älä koskaan oikosulje paristoja.
On olemassa räjähdyksen ja loukkaantumisen
vaara!
• Tarkasta paristot säännöllisesti. Vuotavat paristot
saattavat vahingoittaa laitetta.
• Jos laite on pidempään käyttämättä, poista paristot.
•
Vaihda aina kaikki paristot samanaikaisesti
samaa tyyppiä oleviin paristoihin.
Käytä suojakäsineitä paristojen vuotaessa.
• Puhdista paristokotelo ja paristoliitännät kuivalla
liinalla.

Warranty and Service
This product comes with a 3-year warranty as of the
date of purchase. This appliance has been manufactured
with care and meticulously examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the
case of a warranty claim, please make contact by
telephone with our service department. Only in this
way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
The warranty covers only claims for material and
maufacturing defects, not for worn parts or for damage
to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries. This
product is for private use only and is not intended for
commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of
abusive and improper handling, use of force and
internal tampering not carried out by our authorized
service branch. Your statutory rights are not restricted
in any way by this warranty.
Disposal
Disposing of the appliance
Under no circumstances should you dispose of
the appliance in your normal domestic waste.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal
centre or at your community waste facility. This appliance
is subject to the provisions of European Guidelines
2002/96/EG. Observe the currently applicable
regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your
waste disposal centre.
Disposal of batteries/accumulators
Used batteries/rechargeable batteries may not be
disposed of in household waste. Every consumer is
legally obliged to dispose of batteries at a collection
site of his community / city district or at a retail store.
The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that batte-
ries are disposed of in a non-polluting manner. Only
dispose of batteries when they are fully discharged.
Disposal of packaging
Dispose of all packaging materials in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Utilisation
• To staple, slide the papers to be stapled all the way
in into the paper opening w. The staple activates
itself immediately.
Paper blockage
If paper or a staple have jammed themselves in the
paper opening w, press the button PUSH r and
then pull the staple tray qout. Remove the jammed
paper or the staples.
Cleaning
Attention!
Should moisture penetrate into the appliance it could
become irreparably damaged! Ensure that moisture
cannot permeate into the appliance during cleaning!
• Clean the appliance only with a lightly moistened
cloth.
• If you do not intend to use the appliance for an
extended period, remove the batteries.
• Always replace all batteries at the same time and
with the same type.
• In the event of the batteries leaking acids, wear
protective gloves.
• Clean the battery compartment and the battery
contacts with a dry cloth.
Inserting staples
• Press the button PUSH rat the rear of the appliance.
The staple tray qcomes forward.
• Lay the staples in with the legs pointing downwards
to the bottom of the staple tray q. Ensure that the
staples cannot cant themselves (Fig. A).
• Slide the stapler tray qback into the appliance
until it audibly engages.
Inserting the batteries
• Pull the battery compartment lid eoff in the
direction of the arrow.
• Insert 4 batteries of 1.5 V Size AA (not supplied)
into the battery compartment. Pay heed to the
polarity marking in the battery compartment (Fig. B).
• Replace the battery compartment lid eand ensure
that the pin on the battery compartment lid eis
inserted into the hole in the battery compartment.
• This appliance is not intended for use by individuals
(including children) with restricted physical, phy-
siological or intellectual abilities or deficiences in
experience and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety
or receive from this person instruction in how the
appliance is to be used. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
• If you do not intend to use the appliance for an
extended period, remove the batteries. Batteries
may not be thrown into fires, taken apart or short-
circuited. Never attempt to recharge batteries, they
could explode.
Information regarding the handling of
batteries.
The appliance is powered by batteries. For the handling
of batteries please observe the following:
Risk of explosion!
Do not throw batteries into a fire. Do not recharge
non-rechargeable batteries.
• Never open batteries, never solder or weld batteries.
Never short-circuit batteries. The risk of explosions
and injuries exists!
• Regularly check the condition of the batteries. Leaking
batteries can cause damage to the appliance.
