Introduction
The LG Bluetooth®Hands-free car kit HFB-510 is a solar-powered wireless
hands-free car kit utilising Bluetooth technology with a slim and fashionable
design. This product can be used as an audio accessory for devices
supporting the Headset or Handsfree Bluetooth profiles.

Charging
- Using the car charger
ҶRemove the cover on the charging port and connect the LG charger provided.
ҶWhen the HFB-510 is charging, the red LED indicator flashes slowly.
ҶIt takes 3 hours to fully charge the hands-free car kit.
ҶWhen charging is complete, the red LED indicator will turn off.
- Using solar power
ҶDirect the solar panel on the back of the hands-free car kit toward the sun.
(Please refer to the recommended installation position, as mentioned above.)
ҶIf the car kit receives sufficient sunlight for 2 hours, you can talk for up to 1
hour. When using solar power to charge the HFB-510, the talk time and
standby time will be extended, without any need to plug in the charger.
* WARNING : Do not attempt to charge the HFB-510 with any charger other
than the one provided in the box. Using another charger may
damage the HFB-510.

- By pressing the VOL UP and VOL DOWN buttons simultaneously and then
quickly releasing them, the battery status is indicated by TTS (Text to Speech).
How to use
- For the best performance, the HFB-510 should be positioned and installed on
the windshield in front of the driver's seat.
* WARNING :
1. The HFB-510 must be positioned on the windshield in such a way that it
does not obstruct the driver's view of the road.
2. Do not position the HFB-510 in the path of any of your vehicle's airbags.

How to use

Power on
- Move the PWR switch to the mic side.
- The blue LED indicator will flicker quickly 5 times.
- Then TTS speech will say “Ready” and give the current battery status.
- When the PWR switch is in the ON position, the HFB-510 will not be turned off
automatically.

Pairing
- Prior to using the hands-free car kit for the first time, you must pair it with a
Bluetooth-enabled handset.
- There are 2 pairing mode methods with the HFB-510.
1) Easy Pairing
ҶWith the power off, move the PWR switch to the mic side to turn on the HFB-510.
ҶThe hands-free car kit will enter Auto-Reconnect mode, for 10seconds
(If your hands-free car kit has been previously paired to the handset, the headset
will automatically reconnect to the handset, when the HFB-510 is powered on.)
ҶThe HFB-510 will then automatically enter pairing mode.
ҶTTS Speech will say “Please pair phone now” and the LED indicator will show
a continuous light when the device enters Pairing Mode. (The LED indicator is
on 2 seconds, and off 2 seconds.)
ҶUsing your handset, find the Bluetooth menu and “search for” or “add” new devices.
ҶSelect “LG HFB-510” from the list of devices and pair it with your handset.
ҶWhen asked for the Pass/PIN code during the pairing procedure, please enter
“0000” (4 zeros).
Language Selection
- You can change the TTS language by pressing and holding the VOL UP and
VOL DOWN buttons for at least 3 seconds. After announcing “Please select
language” choose your language using the VOL DOWN or VOL UP button
then select the language by briefly pressing the CALL button.
- If an incoming call or power off happens before you select the language, you
must start again.

- If the VOL DOWN button is pressed and held for 3 seconds, the solar charging
status is indicated by the number of green LED flashes every 5 seconds.
- After a minute, the solar charging indication will be deactivated automatically.

The HFB-510 is capable of announcing the caller name (or number) via the multi-
language TTS engine. If your handset supports downloading the phone book via the
Bluetooth link, the hands-free car kit will download the phone book when connected
to the handset. After the phone book is downloaded, when there is an incoming call,
you will hear a ring tone and the caller's name (or number), e.g. "Call from Robert".
NOTE : The Name Alert feature is only available if your handset supports downloading
the phone book via the Bluetooth link. If your handset is not supported, the
HFB-510 will ring or announce the caller's number for an incoming call.
While downloading the phone book you will hear the number alert instead
of name alert. Up to 2000 phone numbers can be stored in each handset.

- To activate the Name Alert function, press the VOL UP button for 3 seconds.
- To deactivate the Name Alert function, press the VOL UP button for 3 seconds
again.
- When the Name Alert function is activated, you will hear a ring tone and Name
(or number) alert on incoming call.
Power Vibration
- Move the PWR switch to the middle and the Auto Power On function will be
enabled.
- The car-kit will be turned on automatically under various vibration conditions
such as closing the door.
- The car-kit might not be turned on if the vibration is too weak.
- The blue LED indicator will flicker quickly 5 times.
- You will hear TTS speech say “Ready” and give the current battery status.
- When disconnected from the handset, the car-kit will be turned off automatically
after 10 minutes.
Power off
- Move the PWR switch to the charging port side.
- You will hear TTS speech say “Powering down” and the blue LED indicator will
flicker quickly 5 times.

ҶAfter pairing successfully, be sure to “Connect” to the LG HFB-510.
ҶOnce connection has completed successfully, TTS speech will say “ Connected
to phone”.
ҶIf you want to pair with a different device in the future, the hands-free car kit
must be placed in pairing mode.
ҶIf the hands-free car kit is in pairing mode for 3 minutes without being connected
to a handset, the HFB-510 will automatically turn off.
2) Manual pairing
ҶWith the power off, press and hold the CALL button and move the PWR switch
to the mic side.
ҶTTS Speech will say “Please pair phone now” and the LED indicator will show
a continuous light when the device enters Pairing Mode. (The LED indicator is
on 2 seconds, and off 2 seconds.)
Ҷ Using your handset, find the Bluetooth menu and “search for” or “add” new devices.
ҶSelect “LG HFB-510” from the list of devices and pair it with your handset.

Auto Reconnect
- When the HFB-510 turns off (accidentally or intentionally) while connected to
a handset, the hands-free car kit will automatically reconnect when the HFB-
510 is turned back on (as long as both devices are within the required range
of 33ft. of 10m).
[Out of range]
- When the HFB-510 and your handset are separated by a distance of 33 feet
(10 meters) or more, the HFB-510 and handset will disconnected.
When the handset and HFB-510 are brought back within the required distance,
the HFB-510 will automatically reconnect with the handset.
- If the HFB-510 and handset do not automatically reconnect when they are
back within the required range, briefly press the CALL button on the HFB-510
to reconnect manually.
Note: If the HFB-510 and handset are out of range for 10 minutes, the HFB-510
will automatically turn off, to help save power.

Volume control
- Briefly press the VOL UP or VOL DOWN button to adjust the speaker volume.
- There are eight levels of speaker volume.
Calling
Answering a call
- When there is an incoming call, the HFB-510 will ring and give a Name Alert.
- Briefly press the CALL button to answer an incoming call.
Making a call
- If you make a call from the hands-free car kit, the call will (subject to phone
settings) automatically transfer to the hands-free car kit. If the call is not
automatically transferred, you can manually transfer the call by briefly pressing
the CALL button on the HFB-510 (handset and hands-free car kit must be paired).
Voice dialing*
- Briefly press the CALL button to activate “Voice Command”. You will get the best
results if you record the voice dialing tag through your hands-free car kit.
NOTE : If the handset does not support Voice Dialing, it is possible that
performing this action will activate Last Number redial.
Last number redial*
- Press and hold the CALL button for 1 second to activate “Last Number Redial”.
The hands-free car kit will beep, and call the last number dialed.
Ending a call
- Briefly press the CALL button.
Transferring a call*
- While on a call on your handset, briefly press the CALL button to transfer the
audio to the hands-free car kit. (handset and hands-free car kit must be paired).
- And to transfer a call from the hands-free car kit to handset, press and hold
VOL UP button for 1 second.
Call waiting*
- Answer a second call without hanging up the first call by pressing the CALL for
1 second. Press the CALL button for 1 second to return to the original call.
- Briefly press the CALL button to terminate both calls at once.
Call reject*
- Activate Call Reject by pressing the CALL button for 1 second when the hands-
free car kit rings or gives a Name Alert.

How to use
Multipoint
The HFB-510 is capable of having two handsets connected to the hands-free
car kit at the same time. This will give you the freedom of using your hands-free
car kit for both of your handsets.
[Multipoint Connect]
- Pair the hands-free car kit with one of your Bluetooth-enabled handsets.
- Turn off the hands-free car kit.
- With the power off, press and hold the CALL button and move the PWR switch
to the mic side to enter Manual Pairing mode.
- Pair and connect the hands-free car kit with your other Bluetooth-enabled
handsets.
- Go back and connect the first paired handset to the hands-free car kit.
NOTE : Calling functions work with the most recently used handset for outgoing calls.
Mute
- To activate the mute function, press VOL DOWN button for 1 second; this will
mute your voice to the other party while on a phone call.
- To release the mute function, press VOL DOWN button for 1 second again.
- When the mute function is activated, you will hear a beep periodically.
* The indicates that these functions are only available when the mobile phone
supports them. For additional information regarding these functions, refer to
the user manual for your Bluetooth mobile phone.

Precautions
Do not place heavy objects on the unit.
Please only use the hands-free car kit with an
LG original charger. Otherwise the hands-free
might be damaged.

4. Battery information
A rechargeable battery has a long service life if treated properly. A new battery or one
that has not been used for a long period of time could have reduced capacity the first
few times it is used. Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures, never above
+60°(+140°F) or under -20°(-4°F). For maximum battery capacity, use the battery in
room temperature. If the battery is used in low temperatures, the battery capacity will
be reduced. The battery can only be charged in temperatures between +10°(+50°F) and
+45°(+113°F). For your safety, do not remove the battery incorperated in the product. If
you need to replace the battery, take it to the nearest authorised LG Electronics service
point or dealer for assistance.
5. Recycling the battery in your Bluetooth®Hands-free car kit
The battery in your Bluetooth®Hands-free car kit must be disposed of properly and should
never be placed in municipal waste. The LG Electronics service partner removing battery
will dispose of it according to local regulations.
6. Conditions
- The warranty is valid only if the original receipt issued to the original purchaser by the
dealer, specifying the date of purchase and serial number, is presented with the product
to be repaired or replaced. LG Electronics reserves the right to refuse warranty service
if this information has been removed or changed after the original purchase of the
product from the dealer.
- If LG Electronics repairs or replaces the product, the repaired or replaced product shall
be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period or for ninety (90)
days from the date of repair, whichever is longer. Repair or replacement may involve
the use of functionally equivalent reconditioned units. Replaced parts or components
will become the property of LG Electronics.
- This Warranty does not cover any failure of the product due to normal wear and tear, or
due to misuse, including but not limited to use in other than the normal and customary
manner, in accordance with instructions for use and maintenance of the product.
Nor does this warranty cover any failure of the product due to accident, modification or
adjustment, acts of God or damage resulting from liquid.
- This warranty does not cover product failures due to improper repair installations,
modifications or service performed by a non-LG Electronics authorized person.
Tampering with any of the seals on the product will void the warranty.
- THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, OTHER

Additional Information
1. Radio frequency exposure
This Bluetooth®Hands-free car kit, HFB-510, is a radio transmitter and receiver.
When in operation, it communicates with a Bluetooth®equipped mobile device by
receiving and transmitting radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic fields (microwaves) in
the frequency range 2.4 to 2.4835 GHz. The output power of the radio transmitter is low,
0.001 watt. Your Bluetooth®Hands-free car kit is designed to operate in compliance with
the RF exposure guidelines and limits set by national authorities and international health
agencies when used any compatible LG Electronics mobile phone.
2. Potentially explosive atmosphere
Turn off your electronic device when in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere.
It is rare, but your electronic device could generate sparks. Sparks in such areas could
cause an explosion or fire resulting in bodily injury or even death. Areas with a potentially
explosive atmosphere are often, but not always, clearly marked.
3. Emergency calls
IMPORTANT!
This Bluetooth®Hands-free car kit and the electronic device connected to the Hands-free
car kit operate using radio signals,
cellular and landline networks as well as user- programmed
functions, which cannot guarantee connection under all conditions. Therefore you should
never rely solely upon any electronic device for essential communications (e.g. medical
emergencies). Remember, in order to make or receive calls, the Hands-free car kit and
the electronic device connected to the Hands-free car kit must be switched on and in a
service area with adequate
cellular signal strength. Emergency calls may not be possible
on all
cellular phone networks or when certain network services and/or phone features
are in use. Check with your local service provider.

Limited Warranty
WARNINGS
WARNINGS - Failure to avoid the following hazardous situations could result
in an accident or collision resulting in death or serious injury.
Never allow your use of this HFB-510 Hands-Free Car kit, or the use of a device
cradled within the HFB-510 Hands-Free Car kit, divert your attention in any way
from the safe operation of your vehicle: always observe safe driving rules and obey
all traffic laws. All adjustments to or repositioning of the HFB-510 Hands-Free Car kit
or any device cradled within the HFB-510 Hands-Free Car kit should be done when
the vehicle is safely parked or stopped. When installing the unit in a vehicle, make
sure the unit is secure and does not obstruct the driver's view of the road or interfere
with vehicle operating controls. Do not mount this product near or over an airbag
cover panel within an airbag deployment zone. In some states certain operations of
devices that can be used with this unit, including video functionality, are illegal while
driving. In addition, some states prohibit or restrict the manner in which drivers may
suction mount devices to their windshields. Please consult your local laws to
determine whether any of the foregoing regulations apply.
Important safety information
Avoiding hearing damage Permanent hearing loss may occur if you use you
headset at a high volume. Set the volume to a safe level. You can adapt over time
to a higher volume of sound that may sound normal but can be damaging to your
hearing. If you experience ringing in your ears or muffled speech, stop listening and
have you hearing checked. The louder the volume, the less time is required before
your hearing could be affected. Hearing experts suggest that to protect your
hearing:
ҶLimit the amount of time you use Headset at high volume.
ҶAvoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings.
ҶTurn the volume down if you can't hear people speaking near you.
Using Headsets safely Use of Headsets to listen to music while operating
a vehicle is not recommended and is illegal in some areas. Be careful and attentive
while driving. Stop using this device if you find it disruptive or distracting while
operating any type of vehicle or performing any other activity that requires your full
attention.
Subject to the conditions of this Limited Warranty, LG Electronics warrants this
product to be free from defects in design, material and workmanship at the time
of its original purchase by a consumer, and for a subsequent period of one (1) year.
Should your product need warranty service, please return it to the dealer from
whom it was purchased or contact your local LG Electronics contact center
to get further information.

Carga
- Uso del cargador para automóviles
ҶRetire la cubierta del puerto de carga y conecte el cargador LG que se entrega
con la unidad.
ҶCuando el dispositivo HFB-510 se está cargando, el indicador LED rojo parpadea
lentamente.
ҶCargar completamente el kit de manos libres para automóviles lleva 3 horas.
ҶCuando la carga está completa, se apaga el indicador LED rojo.
- Uso con energía solar
ҶOriente el panel solar en la parte posterior del kit de manos libres para automóviles
en dirección al sol. (Consulte la posición recomendada para la instalación, como
ya se indicó).
ҶSi el kit para automóviles recibe suficiente luz solar durante 2 horas, podrá hablar
hasta 1 hora. Al usar la energía solar para cargar el dispositivo HFB-510, el tiempo
para hablar y el tiempo en espera se prologarán sin necesidad de utilizar el cargador.
* ADVERTENCIA: No intente cargar el dispositivo HFB-510 con un cargador que
no sea el provisto con el kit. El uso de otro cargador podría
ocasionar daños al dispositivo HFB-510.

Modo de uso
- Para obtener el mejor desempeño, el dispositivo HFB-510 debe colocarse e
instalarse en el parabrisas, frente al asiento del conductor.
* ADVERTENCIA :
1. El dispositivo HFB-510 debe colocarse en el parabrisas sin obstruir la visión
entre el conductor y el camino.
2. No coloque el dispositivo HFB-510 en un lugar que obstruya las bolsas de aire
del vehículo.

Encendido
- Mueva el interruptor de encendido hacia el lado del micrófono.
- El indicador LED azul parpadeará rápidamente 5 veces.
- Después, la voz de TTS dirá "Ready" (Listo) y el estado actual de la batería.
- Si el interruptor de encendido está en la posición ON (encendido), el dispositivo
HFB-510 no se apagará automáticamente.

Asociación
- Antes de usar el kit de manos libres para automóviles por primera vez, deberá
asociarlo con un terminal compatible con Bluetooth.
- Existen dos métodos para asociar dispositivos con el HFB-510.
1) Asociación fácil
ҶCuando esté apagado, mueva el interruptor de encendido hacia el lado del
micrófono para encender el dispositivo HFB-510.
ҶEl kit de manos libres para automóviles pasará al modo de reconexión automática
durante 10 segundos (si el kit ya se ha asociado con el terminal, al encender el
HFB-500, volverá a conectarse con el terminal en forma automática).
ҶA continuación, HFB-510 ingresará automáticamente en modo de asociación.
ҶLa voz de TTS anunciará "Please pair phone now" (Asocie el teléfono ahora), el
dispositivo ingresará en modo de asociación y todos los indicadores LED mostrarán

Selección de idioma

el volumen) y el botón VOL DOWN (Bajar el volumen) durante al menos 3 segundos.
Después de escuchar “Please select language” (Seleccione el idioma), seleccione
el idioma con el botón VOL UP (Subir el volumen) o el botón VOL DOWN (
Bajar el volumen) y después elija el idioma al presionar el botón CALL (Llamada).
- Si recibe una llamada entrante o se apaga la unidad antes de seleccionar el
idioma, deberá comenzar desde el principio.

Alerta de nombre

El dispositivo HFB-510 puede anunciar el nombre de la persona que llama (o número)
por medio del mecanismo TTS de varios idiomas. Si el teléfono admite la descarga
de la libreta de direcciones en el vínculo BT, el kit de manos libres para automóviles
descargará la libreta de direcciones al conectar el teléfono. Después de descargar la
libreta de direcciones, cuando reciba una llamada entrante, podrá escuchar un timbre y el
nombre de la persona que llama (o número) como "Call from Robert" (Llamada de Roberto).
NOTA: La función Name Alert (Alerta de nombre) solo está disponible si el teléfono
admite la descarga de la libreta de dirección en el vínculo BT. Si el teléfono no
la admite, HFB-510 timbrará o anunciará el número de la persona que llama
durante la llamada entrante. Mientras descarga la libreta de direcciones puede
escuchar el alerta de número en lugar del alerta de nombre. Puede almacenar
hasta 2000 números de teléfono en cada teléfono.

Vibración de encendido
- Si coloca el interruptor de encendido en la posición intermedia, se habilitará la
función Auto Powered On (Encendido automático).
- El kit para automóviles se encenderá automáticamente en diversas condiciones de
vibración como al cerrar la puerta.
- Es posible que el kit para automóviles no se encienda si la vibración es demasiado
débil.
- El indicador LED azul parpadeará rápidamente 5 veces.
- Escuchará la voz de TTS que le indicará "Ready" (Listo) y el estado actual de la batería.
- Si el kit para automóviles está desconectado del teléfono, el kit se apagará
automáticamente después de 10 minutos.

Reconexión automática
- Si el auricular HFB-510 se apaga (ya sea deliberada o accidentalmente) mientras
está conectado a otro dispositivo, el kit de manos libres volverá a conectarse
automáticamente al encenderse (siempre que ambos dispositivos se encuentren
dentro del radio de alcance necesario de 33 pies o 10 m).

Control de volumen
- Con los botones para subir y bajar el volumen, ajuste el volumen del parlante.
- Podrá elegir entre ocho niveles de volumen.
Llamadas
Responder una llamada
- Cuando reciba una llamada entrante, el dispositivo HFB-510 emitirá un timbre y un
alerta de nombre.
- Presione brevemente el botón de llamada para atender la llamada entrante.
Hacer una llamada
- Si hace una llamada desde el kit de manos libres, la llamada se transferirá
automáticamente al kit (siempre que la configuración del teléfono así lo establezca).
Si no se transfiere en forma automática, puede transferirla manualmente presionando
brevemente el botón de llamada del HFB-510 (el terminal y el kit de manos libres
deben estar asociados).
Marcar por voz*
- Presione brevemente el botón de llamada para activar el comando de voz.
Obtendrá mejores resultados si graba el identificador de marcado por voz con el kit
de manos libres.
NOTA: Si el terminal no es compatible con el marcado por voz, es posible que, con esta
acción, se active la función para volver a llamar al último número que marcó.
Volver a marcar el último número*
- Mantenga presionado el botón de llamada durante 1 segundo a fin de activar la
función para volver a llamar al último número marcado. El kit de manos libres
emitirá un sonido y llamará al último número que marcó.
Finalizar una llamada
- Presione brevemente el botón de llamada.
Transferir una llamada*
- Cuando tenga una llamada en curso en el terminal, presione brevemente el botón
de llamada para transferir el audio al kit de manos libres (el terminal y el kit deben
estar asociados)
- Si desea transferir una llamada del kit de manos libres al terminal, mantenga
presionado el botón para subir el volumen durante 1 segundo.
Llamada en espera*
- Atienda una segunda llamada sin cortar la llamada en curso, presionando el botón
de llamada durante 1 segundo. Vuelva a presionar el botón de llamada durante 1
segundo y volverá a la llamada original.
- Presione brevemente el botón de llamada para finalizar ambas llamadas al mismo

Rechazar una llamada*

Precauciones
No coloque objetos pesados sobre el dispositivo.

4. Información de la batería
Las baterías recargables tienen una vida útil prolongada si reciben el tratamiento adecuado.
Las baterías nuevas o que no se hayan utilizado por un lapso extenso podrían ver mermada
su capacidad las primeras veces que se usan. No exponga la batería a temperaturas extremas,
superiores a los 60°C (140°F) o inferiores a los -20°C (-4°F). Para obtener la máxima
capacidad de la batería, úsela a temperatura ambiente. Si se utiliza la batería en condiciones
de temperaturas bajas, la capacidad se verá reducida. La batería sólo puede cargarse en
condiciones de entre 10°C (50°F) y 45°C (113°F). Por su seguridad, no extraiga la batería
incorporada a este producto. Si necesita reemplazar la batería, lleve la unidad al distribuidor
o centro de servicio técnico autorizado por LG Electronics para obtener ayuda.
5. Reciclado de la batería del kit de manos libres Bluetooth®para automóviles
La batería del kit de manos libres Bluetooth®debe desecharse con el procedimiento
adecuado y nunca debe arrojarse al basurero municipal. Los encargados de servicio técnico
autorizado de LG Electronics que extraigan baterías las desecharán de acuerdo con las
reglamentaciones locales.
6. Condiciones
- La garantía tiene validez únicamente si, junto con el producto que se va a reparar o
reemplazar, se presenta la factura original que el distribuidor le emitió al comprador original.
LG Electronics se reserva el derecho de denegar el servicio de garantía si no se presenta
dicha información o si hubiera habido modificaciones luego de la compra original del
producto al distribuidor.
- Si LG Electronics repara o reemplaza el producto, el plazo de garantía del producto
reemplazado o reparado equivaldrá al tiempo restante del plazo de garantía original o
noventa (90) días a partir de la fecha de reparación, el período que sea mayor.
La reparación o el reemplazo podrían implicar el uso de unidades reacondicionadas con
funciones equivalentes. Los componentes o las piezas reemplazadas pasarán a ser

Este kit de manos libres Bluetooth®para automóviles, el HFB-510, es un transmisor y receptor
de radio. Cuando está en funcionamiento, se comunica con un dispositivo móvil compatible
con Bluetooth®, recibiendo y transmitiendo campos electromagnéticos (microondas) de
radiofrecuencia (RF) en el rango de 2,4 a 2,4835 GHz. La potencia de salida del transmisor
de radio es baja: 0,001 vatio. El kit de manos libres Bluetooth®está diseñado para un

Carregamento
- Usando o carregador veicular
ҶRemova o protetor da porta de carregamento e conecte o carregador LG fornecido.
ҶQuando o HFB-510 está carregando, o indicador LED vermelho pisca lentamente.
ҶA carga completa do kit para carro com viva-voz leva 3 horas.
ҶQuando a carga está completa, o indicador LED vermelho é desligado.
- Usando energia solar
ҶPosicione o painel solar na parte de trás do kit para carro com viva-voz na
direção do sol. (Consulte a posição recomendada para instalação, conforme
mencionado acima).
ҶSe o kit para carro receber luz solar suficiente por 2 horas, você poderá
conversar por até 1 hora. Ao usar a energia solar para carregar o HFB-510, o
tempo de conversação e o tempo de espera serão estendidos, sem a
necessidade de conectar o aparelho ao carregador.
* AVISO: não tente carregar o HFB-510 em outro carregador que não seja aquele
fornecido na caixa. Usar outro carregador poderá danificar o HFB-510.

Emparelhar
- Antes de usar o kit para carro com viva-voz pela primeira vez, você deve emparelhá-
lo com um aparelho habilitado para Bluetooth.
- Existem dois métodos de emparelhamento com o HFB-510.
1) Emparelhamento fácil
ҶCom o aparelho desligado, mova a chave de energia (PWR) para o lado do microfone
para ligar o HFB-510.
ҶO kit para carro com viva-voz entrará em modo de Reconexão Automática durante 10
segundos (Se o seu kit já tiver sido emparelhado com o aparelho, o fone de ouvido
será automaticamente reconectado ao aparelho quando o HFB-510 for ligado).
ҶO HFB-510 irá então iniciar o modo de emparelhamento automaticamente.
ҶO recurso TTS dirá “Emparelhe o telefone agora” e o indicador LED mostrará uma luz
contínua quando o dispositivo iniciar o Modo de Emparelhamento. (O indicador LED
fica 2 segundos ligado e mais 2 segundos desligado).
ҶUsando o seu aparelho, encontre o menu do Bluetooth e “procure” ou “adicione” novos
dispositivos.
ҶSelecione “LG HFB-510”, na lista de dispositivos, e o emparelhe com o seu aparelho.
ҶQuando lhe for pedido para inserir a Senha/código PIN durante o processo de
emparelhamento, informe “0000” (4 zeros).
Seleção de idioma
- Você pode alterar o idioma TTS pressionando e segurando os botões AUMENTAR
VOLUME e DIMINUIR VOLUME por, no mínimo, 3 segundos. Após o aviso “Selecione
o idioma”, escolha o seu idioma usando os botões AUMENTAR VOLUME ou
DIMINUIR VOLUME, depois selecione o idioma pressionando rapidamente o botão
CHAMAR.
- Caso você receba uma chamada ou o aparelho desligue antes de você selecionar o
idioma, deverá reiniciar o processo.

O HFB-510 é capaz de anunciar o nome (ou o número) do chamador por meio do
mecanismo TTS de multi-idiomas. Se o seu aparelho fornecer suporte ao download da
agenda pelo link do Bluetooth, o kit para carro com viva-voz fará o download da agenda
quando estiver conectado ao aparelho. Após o download da agenda, quando uma
chamada for recebida, você ouvirá um toque e o nome (ou o número) do chamador, como
por exemplo, "Roberto chamando".
NOTA: o recurso Alerta por Nome estará disponível apenas se o seu aparelho tiver
suporte ao download da agenda pelo link do Bluetooth. Caso o seu aparelho não
tenha suporte, o HFB-510 irá tocar ou anunciar o número do chamador de uma
chamada recebida. Ao fazer o download da agenda, você ouvirá o alerta do
número, em vez do alerta do nome. Até 2000 números de telefone podem ser
armazenados em cada aparelho.

- Para habilitar a função Alerta por Nome, pressione o botão AUMENTAR VOLUME por
3 segundos.
- Para desabilitar a função Alerta por Nome, pressione o botão AUMENTAR VOLUME
por 3 segundos novamente.
- Quando a função Alerta por Nome estiver habilitada, você ouvirá um toque e o alerta
do nome (ou do número) na chamada recebida.
Vibrar
- Mova chave de energia (PWR) para o meio e a função Ligar Automaticamente será
habilitada.
- O kit para carro será automaticamente ligado sob diversas condições de vibração,
como ao fechar uma porta.
- O kit para carro pode não ligar caso a vibração seja muito fraca.
- O indicador LED azul irá piscar rapidamente por 5 vezes.
- Você ouvirá o recurso TTS dizer “Disponível” e depois informar o status atual da bateria.
- Quando desconectado do aparelho, o kit para carro é desligado automaticamente após
10 minutos.
Desligar
- Mova a chave de energia (PWR) para o lado da porta de carregamento.
- Você ouvirá o recurso TTS dizer “Desligando” e o indicador LED azul piscará
rapidamente por 5 vezes.
