Keypad Description
The Positive key, which fu ctio s as a OK
key, executes co firmatio , makes/a swers
a call, redials, a d makes a selectio .
The Negative key, which fu ctio s as a No
key, e ds a active call, aba do s the
comma d, a d makes a exit. This key is also
used as the power key.
The shortcut to e ter the pho ebook me u.
The Clear key deletes characters, ca cels key
presses, a d exits the me u to go back to idle
mode. Pressi g the key shortly deletes
the digits o e by o e, while pressi g a d hold-
i g clears all characters from the display.
Duri g a call, you may press lo ger tha 2
seco ds to tur o the ha d-free
speakerpho e. To tur off the ha d-free
speaker, you ca press agai . This fu c-
tio o ly works duri g a call.

The up/dow cursor keys scroll through me us
a d subme us, optio s a d setti gs.
The alpha umeric character keys are used
for editi g short messages, ames a d tele-
pho e umbers i the pho ebook.
Press a d hold the key u til '0' is cha ged
i to '+' for the i ter atio al prefix. ('+' char-
acter is used as a substitute for i ter atio al
access code)
The a d are special fu ctio keys.
You may e able the keypad lock fu ctio by
pressi g lo ger tha 2 seco ds. This
hotkey is o ly valid i idle mode. To disable
keypad lock, you may lo g press or
press , to u lock.
Also, this me u allows you to make a quick
access whe diali g umbers to make a
pho e call.

The procedure is as follows.

with the umbers show o the ame list of
pho ebook.
2. The , press to make a call.

Basic Operating Instructions
Removing the Battery
1.Press to switch off the cellular pho e.
2.Press the k ob a d slide the battery cover as show i the
picture.
3.Lift up the battery as show below.

Installing the IM Card
Prior to i stalli g the SIM card, be sure that the pho e is
switched off. To i stall the SIM card:
1.Remove the battery. Follow i structio s o how to re-
move the battery.
2.Place the card i side the SIM holder such that the golde
co ectors are faci g dow wards. Push dow the latch to
hold the SIM card.

To remove the SIM card:

2.Push away the latch to remove the SIM card.
Installing the Battery
1.Slide the battery i to the cradle as show i the picture
a d press the battery dow flat.
2.Place the back cover as show i the picture a d slide it
i to place.
