Share your calls with friends and family or just keep a
conversation going while your hands are busy holding
the baby, typing on the computer keyboard, or doing
dozens of other everyday tasks.
1. You must be in a call to activate the speakerphone
feature. Press  on the  to turn
the speakerphone on and off. The status will be
noted by the icons and text on screen.
Activating the Speakerphone

Keep your attention on your task and your outbound
calls hands-free with voice dialing. Set up your
contacts, then train the UX145 to understand your
handy voice prompts.
1. From standby mode, press the  for
, select  ().
2. Select  ().
3. Press the  for .
4. Select a contact and press .
5. Press again to record. When prompted, say the
voice dial name, then repeat the name again.
 Press  on the  to activate voice dial.
Recording a Voice Dial

Use text messaging when you need to communicate
quietly and quickly. Make your message come alive by
adding graphics or sound. Then send it to other mobile
phones or e-mail addresses.
1. From standby mode, press  on the 

3. Enter a phone number or e-mail address, or press
the  to choose someone from your
contact or recent call lists, and press .
4. Enter your text message.
5. Press to send.
