Step 2. Insert the Battery
1. Align the battery contactswiththe
terminalsinthe batterycompartment.
2. Pushthebattery downuntilit clicksinto
place.
Step 3. Replace the Back Cover
Place theback coveroverthebattery
compartment, thenpressit downwarduntil
itclicksintoplace.
Step 4. Charge the Phone
Yourdevice comeswitha Wall/USBcharger
anda USB cablewhichconnect togetherto
chargeyour phone.Tocharge your phone:

Insert the microSD Card
Ifyouhavea microSDCard, slidethe
microSDcardintothe microSD Card Slot
underthebackcover.
Powering your phone On/Off
1. Toturnthe phoneon, pressand holdthe
Power/End Key untilthescreen
lightsup.
2. Toturn thephone off,pressandholdthe
Power/End Key untilthedisplay
turnsoff.
Making a Call
1. Press the OKKey tounlock thescreen
(and keys).
2. Enterthephonenumberusing the
keypad.

NOTE: Your phone has a Voice Commands feature
that also lets you make call s bys aying a phone number
or Contact nam e. To access it, press the Clear/Voice
Commands Key

and say Call followed by the n ame
or number.
Receiving a Call
1. Whenthephoneringsorvibrates,
pressthe SendKey toanswer.
•PresstheLeftSoftKey [Quiet] to mute the
ringing or vibra tion for that call.
•PresstheRightSoftKey [Ignore] to end the
call or send it direct ly to Voicemail.
•Press
[TX T] to end the call and send a quick te xt
message.
2. PressthePower/EndKey to end
thecall.

3. Press TXT Message.
4. Enter the phonenumberof the
recipientorthe emailaddress for an
email message.Youcanenterup to 20
addressesfora single message.
5. Press the DirectionalKey downward
toaccessthe textfield.
6. Typeyourmessagein the text field.
7. Press [SEND] to send the message.
Camera
Takepicturesthat you can sendto virtually
anywirelessnumberor emailaddress. Snap
aphotoand send as a picturemessage.

2. Choose from thefollowingoptions:
• Set the brightness by pressing the
Directional Key left and right.
• Zoom by pressing the Directional Key
up and down.
• Press the Right Soft Key [Options]
to set various camera settings.
3. Press [TAKE] or the Camera Key to
takethe picture.
4. After takingthepicture,selectfromthe
followingoptions.
• Press the Left Soft Key [Save] to
save the picture.
• Press
[SEND] to send the picture to
others.
• Press the Right Soft Key [Erase] to
erase the picture.
Backup AssistantSM
