1. Fromyourcomputer,visitsprint.com/prepaidactivate.
2. ChooseanactivationoptionandclickNext.ThenenteryourzipcodeandclickNext.
3. Whenprompted,entertheserialnumber(MEIDDEC)printedonthelabelonyourphone's
packaging.
4. Followtheinstructionstoselectaplanandpaymentmethod.
l Ifyou'reswappingphonesorbringingyournumberoverfromadifferentcarrier,followthe
promptstosigninorprovideadditionalinformation.
5. Continuetofollowtheinstructionstoprogramyourphone.Onceyouseethe“Congrats”page,
yourphoneandplanareactivated.
l Toconfirmactivation,makeaphonecall.Ifyourphoneisstillnotactivated,visit
sprint.com/prepaidsupportforassistance.IfyoudonothaveaccesstotheInternet,call

2. Enteryourphonename.ThiswillbeusedasyourphonenameinBluetooth,Wi-FiDirect,etc.
Thenenteraphonenumbertocallifthephoneislost.ItwillbedisplayedontheLockscreen.
3. Yourinitialsetupiscomplete.Youcannowenjoyyourphoneandpersonalizeittoyourliking.
Set Up Voicemail
Youshouldsetupyourvoicemailandpersonalgreetingassoonasyourphoneisactivated.Always
useapasswordtoprotectagainstunauthorizedaccess.Yourphoneautomaticallytransfersall
unansweredcallstoyourvoicemail,evenifyourphoneisinuseorturnedoff.
1. Press andtap >Voicemail .
2. TapPersonalize now.
3. Followthesystempromptsto:
l Createyourpassword.
l Recordyournameannouncement.
l Recordyourgreeting.
Important:Voicemail Password–Itisstronglyrecommendedthatyoucreateapasswordwhen

Turn the Screen Off When Not in Use
n Toquicklyturnthescreenoff,pressthePower/Lock Button.PressingthePower/Lock
Buttonagainorreceivinganincomingcallwillturnonyourphonescreenandshowthelock
screen.
Tosavebatterypower,thephoneautomaticallyturnsoffthescreenafteracertainperiodoftime
whenyouleaveitidle.Youwillstillbeabletoreceivemessagesandcallswhilethephone’sscreenis
off.

Unlocking your screen using the Knock Code feature
TheKnockCodefeatureallowsyoutocreateyourownunlockcodeusingacombinationofknocks
(ortaps)onthescreen.
n Whilethescreenisoff,tapthesamesequenceyouestablishedanywhereonthescreen.The
Homescreenwillbeaccesseddirectly.
Note:TheKnockCodefeaturecanbeturnedonandoffintheLockscreensettings.FromtheHome
screen,press > >Lock screen settings>Select screen lock>Knock Code.Then
followtheinstructionstocreateyourunlocksequence,aswellasaBackupPINincaseyouforget

Swipe or Slide
Toswipeorslidemeanstoquicklydragyourfingerverticallyorhorizontallyacrossthescreen.

Drag
Todrag,pressandholdyourfingerwithsomepressurebeforeyoustarttomoveyourfinger.While
dragging,donotreleaseyourfingeruntilyouhavereachedthetargetposition.
Flick
Flickingthescreenissimilartoswiping,exceptthatyouneedtoswipeyourfingerinlight,quick
strokes.Thisfingergestureisalwaysinaverticaldirection,suchaswhenflickingthecontactsor
messagelist.

Rotate
Formostscreens,youcanautomaticallychangethescreenorientationfromportraittolandscapeby
turningthephonesideways.Whenenteringtext,youcanturnthephonesidewaystobringupa
biggerkeyboard.
Note:TheAuto-rotatecheckboxneedstobeselectedforthescreenorientationtoautomatically
change.Press > >System settings>Display>Auto-rotate screen.
