Removing the SIM Card
1. Locate the SIMCard Slot and open the
cover.
2. Gently press the SIM Cardinwards to
release it, and removefrom the slot.
3. Close the coverby inserting the notch
into the phone and pressingdown .
*ASubscriber IdentityModule(SIMCard) isa “smartcard”that
houses personalinformation,suchas yourmobilephonenumber,
callingplan, andaccountinformation, suchas contacts,text
messages,and callhistory.The VerizonWireless4G LTESIM
Cardis compatiblewithany VerizonWireless4G LTEcertified
device.The 4GLTESIM Cardcan movefromone device to
anotherand yourwireless service willworkseamlesslyas long
asyou havea compatibledeviceand serviceplan.Tosee which

Powering your phone on/off
It’s important to fully charge the battery
before turning on your phone.
1. To turn on the phone, press and hold
the Power/LockKey for a couple of
seconds until the screenlights up.
2. Toturn of f the phone, pressand hold
the Power/LockKey until the Phone
options are displayed. Then tap Power
off > OK.
Follow the onscreen instructions to quickly
set upyour phone and email accounts.
Non-Removable Battery
Yourdeviceis equipped with an internal
rechargeable batterywhich should be
replacedonly by LG oran authorizedLG
repair center. Youshould neverattemptto
openor disassemblethis device yourself and
doing so maycause damage that voids your
warranty.
Inserting the SIM Card
If notalreadyinserted, follow the instructions
below to insert your 4G SIM Card.
1. With the phone face down, locatethe SIM
Card Slot and open the cover.
2. Position the SIMCard with the Verizon
logo facing up andslide it into place until
it is clicks.

Lock Screen
1. Pressthe Power/Lock Key to turn on
your screen.Your LockScreen will appear.
2. Swipe the screen in any directionto
unlock it. To use a shortcut, swipe the icon
in any direction. The screen willunlock
and launch the application.
QuickMemoTM
The QuickMemoTM feature allows youto
create memos and capture screenshots.
1. Accessthe QuickMemo feature by quickly
pressing and releasing the QuickMemo
Key at the top of the phone, whileon
the screen you want to capture.
2. Create personalizedmemos or drawings
using the Rubberdium™ Pen or your finger.
NOTE:For information on QuickMemo options and tools,go to
the User Guide,found under GuidedTours .
3. Tap and select to save the memo to
Notebook or Gallery.
Dialing a Call
1. From the Home screen,tap Phone .
2. Dial the phone number.
3. TapCall to place your call.
Receiving a Call
• If the screen is unlocked, simply tap the
Answer Key .

NFC
Nearfield communication(NFC) lets you get
things donejust by tapping yourphone on

To turnon NFC, from the Home screen tap
Apps > Settings >More.. > andtap the
NFC check box.
LGTag+
LG Tag+ letsyou set uptags as NFC
touchpoints that applyyour own custom
settingsto your phone byjust tapping the
phone to thetag. For example, you couldhave
one tag withthe settings you want atwork
and one for settings whenyou’re athome.
UsingTag+
Two tags comein the boxwith your phone.
1. From the Home screen,tap Apps > LG
Tag+ .
2. Select a mode (Car/Office/Sleep/User)
and customize the mode settings.
3. TapWrite on NFC tag and then tap the
tag with the back of your phone. Your
phone will displayWritten on tag when
complete.
4. Place the programmedtag in a convenient
location for use.
NOTE:Tap Help in theupper right corner to learnmore
about settingup your own tags.
