SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read these operating instructions thoroughly before first operating the
sandwich maker and keep them in a sate place.
If you pass this appliance on to a third party, these operating instructions must also
be handed over.
Incorrect operation and handling can lead to malfunction of the appliance and
injures to user.
This appliance is intended forhousehold use only.
Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, please check that the current and
power supply comply with the specificationson the type plate.
Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and
before cleaning .
Parts of the appliance become hot during use. Therefore, the appliance must only
be held by the handle.
Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water or other liquids. There is
danger to life due to electric shock!
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance bya person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that theydo notplay with the appliance.
Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
Do not use the appliance if the mains cable or plug show signs of damage, if the
appliance has fallen on the floor or has otherwise been damaged. In such cases
take the appliance to a specialist for checking and repair if necessary.
Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges and keep it away from hot
objects and open flames.
Place the appliance on a stable, level surface and not dose to hot objects or open
flames (e. g. hotplates).
Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is
operating.

BEFORE INITIAL USE
Remove all packaging.
Clean the toasting surfaces with a soft damp cloth and then dry them.
Unwind the mains cable completely.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Connect the appliance to an appropriate socket.
The control lights illuminate and the toasting surfaces heat up.
The appliance must be heated up before grilling. In the meantime prepare your food.
As soon as the appliance has heated up, the control light goes out.
You can now begin grilling .
Openthe appliance at the catch.
Close the appliance, making sure that catch is engaged.
Caution: If the foods have too much filling on, it will not be possible to close the
appliance. Take some of the filling off. Never use force to close the appliance.
During toasting the temperature regulating thermostat switches off and on again. The
control light also switches off and on again.
After completion of the grilling process (approx. 2-3 minutes) open the catch and
remove the foods with the help of a flat wooden or plastic spatula. Never use sharp or
metal object (e. g. knives, metal spatulas, etc.) as this will damage the Teflon coating.
If you wish to grill move food, close the appliance again and wait until the toasting
surfaces have reheated sufficiently.
When the control light illuminates again you can repeat the toasting process as
described above.
After completion of the grilling process disconnect the mains plug immediately. With the
appliance open allow it to cool down.
Caution:
The grilling surfaces as well as the sides and top of the appliance get very hot.
Avoid any contact. Danger of burning! Only hold by the handle.
The appliance must always be positioned horizontally during use.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not immerse the appliance in any liquid.
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is
operating.
WARNING: Charcoal or similar combustible fuels must not be used with this
appliance.
CLEANING AND CARE
Firstly, disconnect the mains plug!
Only clean when the appliance has completely cooled down.
Clean the housing surface and the toasting surfaces of the sandwich toaster with
a soft, damp cloth.
It is easiest to remove toast or food crumbs with a very soft brush.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e. g. scrubbing brush or
knife) for cleaning.

Caution: Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. There is danger
to life due to electric shock.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such
as:

-by clients in hotels,motels and other residential type environments
-bed and breakfast type environments.

Terms and Conditions:
1.This warranty is void if:
a. The completely filled warranty card is not presented
at the time of servicing the product.
b. The product is not operated according to the
instructions given under the user manual.
C. Damages are caused by lightning, abnormal
voltage, water or other liquid intrusion, fire, flood,
accident, negligence or improper handling.
d. Product has been damaged due to installation,
repairs, alterations or modifications by unauthorized
service organizations or persons.
e. Product label specifying the model number, serial
number and production code has been removed
and altered.
f. Defects or parts requiring replacement due to
ordinary wear and tear, corrosion, rust or stains,
scratches, dents on the casing or paintwork of the
product.
g. Claims damaged and/or missing parts
(accessories) after 7 days from the original date of
goods received.
h. Defects or faults in product which have been used
for commercial/industrial purposes or which have
been rented/leased or have been otherwise subject
to non-household/non-domestic use.
2. Repairs or replacements will be carried out by
authorized service provider.
3. During the limited warranty period, Lifelong or its
authorized service provider will repair without charge
the defective unit inclusive of labor and parts and
restore the unit to its optimum working condition. All
defective parts used for the warranty repair should be
surrendered to Lifelong and/or its authorised servicer.
4. All expenses incurred in collecting the unit (s) or
part(s) thereof from authorised service provider as will
as any other expenses and incidentals will be borne
by the consumer.
5. Lifelong obligations are limited to the repair and
replacement of the defective product. Except as set
forth above, there are no other express or implied
warranty and all warrantied, conditions or other terms
implied by statute or common law (including any
warranty of satisfactory quality, merchantability or
fitness for a particular purpose) are excluded to the
fullest extent permitted by the laws.
6. Lifelong total liability for damages relating to or arising
out of the purchase or use of the product regardless of
the type or cause of such damage of the form of
characterization of the claim asserted (e.g. contract or
tort) shall not exceed the original purchase price paid
for the product.
7. However in no event shall Lifelong and Lifelong
authorized distributors be liable for any punitive, special
incidental, indirect or consequential losses or damages
whatsoever (including without limitation, damages for
the loss of revenue, business, profits, goodwill, or
contracts, business interruptions, loss of business
information or any other pecuniary loss.) Whether or
not Lifelong has been advised of the possibility of such
damages.These limitations shall apply not with
standing the failure of the essential purpose of any
limited warranty. This limited warranty does not affect
consumer's statutory rights under the law.
8. No carrier, dealer or employee is thereof authorized to
make modifications to this warranty and you should not
reply on any such representation. Lifelong reserves the
right to amend the terms and conditions if necessary.
